Since then I have spent hours on the phone and in person waiting on them to dispense all the money they owe. The dealership told me on 4/22 that they had been paid for the car. I'm still waiting on a check. I keep getting gentle soft excuses, but not all the money owed. Today is 5/3, yet another excuse. If this is the kind of stress your looking for, now know where to buy. We bought a Hyundai Accent 2012 on March 19, 2013. My sales person was Randy Peiffer. He is really nice man . I walked into the dealer, test drove the white ACCENT and loved the drive but not the white sales person was Randy Peiffer. He is really nice man . Randy told us , they had same model car just come in, on cleaning process , oil change and ask me if i wanted to see it. I said yes. He brought me to the shop to check it out ,I like the color. Then we process the finances stuff , got approved. I am so happy. While we were waiting to process I need to leave to pick up my son, so I told my husband to stay to finish the paper work. I mentioned to him to make sure he recheck everything. Randy mentioned do not worry about the car, it has 60.000 mile warranty , If something wrong just bring it back. We trusted him. We got the car around 3.30 pm , I drove it , love it but one mistakes i made is I did not run the AC. (that time we didnt need it, too cool to use AC that month) . April 20 '2013 I drove the car to my office , at that day i need to use the AC due hot day and pollen . After 15 minutes driving i don't feel the cool air . Right at that moment I call rick case , Tony Park answer my call and told me that i can bring the car to find out why . I drove to dealer around 3.45 pm .Tony help me , after 10-15 mins he told me that i hit something and broke the pipe that why the AC not working. For the whole month i have the car I did not hit anything. I told him ,that i have warranty , he mentioned to me that the warranty not cover that. I totally shock. I just bought the car Mar 19' 2013 and only drove it for a month , paid almost $ 3000 extra on warranty and they told me i am not covered. The most hurtful thing to hear was that they kept telling me that i hit something. I am postive I did not hit anything . They said they did a 105 point check ( which need 1 week to get the copy) before the sales and I do trust them but i did not hit my car to anything. How come this can happen ? I only put 2000 miles in that car. I told Randy about what happen , he told me that he will talk to general Manager and so far no luck for me. I am really sad, mad and disappointed . Why do I need to spend extra money on something that is not my fault. Hope this will not happen to other people. Don't spend your money on extra warranty that you cant use on this kind of situation. My disappointment, however was with the service department techs, that worked on my car. I live in FL and saw the nearest Genesis Coupe I wanted was at Rick Case in Duluth. Called them up and was paired with Manish. He was very good at answering my questions and making me feel comfortable enou was at Rick Case in Duluth. Called them up and was paired with Manish. He was very good at answering my questions and making me feel comfortable enough to ride up there. Even reserved the car so it would be there when I arrived. Price was pretty much what I expected/discussed too. Very busy on a beautiful Saturday in April, but was still in and out within 3 hours or so which is about average for a new car buy for me. Love the car!!!! More
Matt Hunter's service was great. No sooner than I drove into the car port Matt was there with a friendly greeting. I was very impressed with his professionalism and knowledge. My disappoinment, however was with the service department techs, that worked on my car. This is the second time in less than a month that I brought my car in for service and it has come back with oil stains on both the inside/outside of the car. My last visit the techs, damaged all four of my rims and left oil stained hand prints on the outside of the car. This visit, they left oil prints of their fingers all over my glove compartment and the inside of the driver's door. I sent Matt Hunter two pictures and a video of it .The glove compartment box was unlocked, and I am sure upon turning my car over to them it was locked. Oh, I almost forgot, on my last visit my key was misplaced and one had to be to be made to send me on my way. I was there 45 minutes before someone decided to make another copy of my key. I have been using the services of "Rick Case" for 5 years and my last visit as well as this visit (except for the excellent service I received from Matt) has me wondering if I should continue to have my car serviced there. It's no longer a new car so I guess it can be handled any kind of way. That bothers me. If my business is in any way appreciated more than a "I'm sorry for the inconvience" and excuses for bad service is needed. Any other time, I have had stellar service under the management of Monica and since her medical absence the service I receive on my car now is very questionable. I know "Rick Case Dealership" to be more than this, so I leave it in your hands to better accommodate a veteran parton. More
