I went in for service on my Sonota today. I was worried because I had been to several dealers before this one, but living in the johns creek area I decided this would be a great option. I went to the service department for a recall item on my 2011 Elantra (also purchased here). I had been getting calls and emails about the exchange program so I inquired while I was waiting for my car. Cu 2011 Elantra (also purchased here). Curtis came to discuss my needs and interests and then discussed pros and cons for various models. Next, we went driving in one of each model we discussed. His knowledge of the cars was very helpful and his approach was sincere and helpful. After a couple of days and more driving, he helped me find a car better suited for my family. I would strongly recommend asking for Curtis if you're in the market for a car, Hyundai or not. He will find it for you. More
The service from Randy was great. I would give all 10's if possible. He was patient and answered all of our questions. My issue was with finance and the way they approve prospective buyers. They check your credit and finally let you know what all the numbers will be based on was agreed upon during the negotiating stage. You sign all the paperwork in finance and let you drive off the lot with your new car and your big smile on your face. Next day they email (not a call) and say that we need to go back in and sign more paperwork and that's when the rules of the game change. All my life I have been told that once you sign a contract it means its official. Well Dale the finance Director told us that if the bank has not approved then its not official. ??????????? Some of the terms of our deal have now changed. Big downer but I can say what made this review from ok to good was that he tried to make it up on the front end of the numbers which was in favor to us in the long run. Just the fact that after 3 or 4 hours at the dealer they make you go back up there and drop the bomb on you. Its like a double whammy. I just received a call for more paperwork (marriage license because of military discount). Not sure how they have their system setup but I have been to this rodeo many times and NEVER have I had this type of small inconveniences. I hope they work these out because I really did have a good experience and hopefully next time it will be a great experience because I will be back. More
I arrived at the lot almost certain I was going to return to a previous lot to buy a different vehicle despite the poor service there. However, David was great. I WILL NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO GO TO RICK CASE HYUNDAI TO BUY A CAR. I WENT THERE TO TRADE MY SONATA FOR A HYUNDAI 2013 SANTA FE AND THE DEALER WORKED OUT A DEAL THAT WAS FINE WITH ME AND THEN THEY HAD ME SI BUY A CAR. I WENT THERE TO TRADE MY SONATA FOR A HYUNDAI 2013 SANTA FE AND THE DEALER WORKED OUT A DEAL THAT WAS FINE WITH ME AND THEN THEY HAD ME SIGN A CONTRACT SAYING THE DEAL WAS DONE. 2 DAYS LATER AFTER I BOUGHT THE CAR THEY CALLED ME TO COME BACK IN AND SWITCHED MY CONTRACT AND PAYMENT ALL TOGETHER AND WAS TRYING TO GET ME TO ACCEPT AND SETTLE FOR ANOTHER CAR THAT I DID NOT WANT. I TOLD THEM THAT I WOULD RATHER KEEP MY SONATA AND TOLD THEM THAT I WOULD TAKE MY BUSINESS ELSEWHERE, ALL RICK CASE HYUNDAI DID WAS WASTE MY TIME AND ENERGY THEY LIED TO ME MAKING ME THINK THAT THE DEAL WAS DONE. I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO DISAPPOINTED IN MY LIFE THE WAY THESE PEOPLE TREATED ME. THEN I EVEN TRIED TO GET MY $500 DOWN PAYMENT BACK AND THEY WERE SO UNPROFESSIONAL ABOUT IT. EVERYONE KEPT SAYING OK WE WILL CALL YOU AND LET YOU KNOW WHEN YOU CAN PICK IT UP AND I HAD TO CALL EVERYDAY BECAUSE NO BODY HAD THE DECENCY TO CALL ME BACK. THIS IS MY WORSE CAR BUYING ATTEMPT AND EXPERIENCE EVER. I AM WARNING ANYONE LOOKING FOR A BRAND NEW HYUNDAI, IF YOU GO TO RICK CASE HYUNDAI DO NOT SIGN ANY CONTRACT UNTIL THEY TELL YOU THAT THEY HAVE A SOLID APPROVAL. THAT IS WHAT I FOUND OUT WHEN I WENT TO KIA AND THEY WERE HONEST ENOUGH TO GET ME A SOLID APPOVAL BEFORE I SIGNED ANY CONTRACT OR TAKE ANY CAR. I called Rick Case Hyundai service on a Friday to make an appointment to have a recall item repair Support staff at this dealership is incompetent. I called Rick Case Hyundai service on a Friday to make an appointment to have a recall item repaired. The customer rep verified my records, made my appointment and assured me that the part needed for the repair was in stock. She said that the repair would take about an hour. Nothing was said about any other recalls, I called Sunday morning to verify my appointment. They had no record of it. Luckily they had availability so I bought the car in. I made no arrangements to be picked up since I had arranged my schedule to accommodate the hours wait When I got there I was informed that there were two recall items that needed repair and that because of the second item the repair would take at least 2 hours. The service rep made a call and verified that the parts needed were in stock. I made arrangements to be picked up. Upon returning 2 hours later, I was told that the part for the original repair was NOT in stock and I had to return again when it came in. What a waste of time. More
I just bought a Hyundai Sonata Limited last night. It was a very pleasant experience thanks to our sales man Brett Bauer. We got an excellent deal. I also liked they didn't work on commission, but a base pay and on their customer service they give through reviews like this. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was because they were pretty busy and had to spend a lot of time waiting around for finance guy... and then for car to finish getting detailed. But was worth it! More
