Left me stranded. 2018 Sonata will not start. Service dept will not even look at it for a month. No help at all. Basically "too bad, so sad." I have purchased/lease 2018 Sonata will not start. The last 2 from Rick Case with the most recent being a lease in May. And here I am stranded with a 2018 Sonata with only 42k miles and well maintained, and Rick Case service could care less. So am having to face taking it to a non dealer repair shop which we all know will probably be a major repair to the tune of several hundreds of dollars, and all because Rick Case refuses to take care of loyal customers. Once the purchase is made, it's a completely different experience from the sales department’s didn't car service, especially at the one in Weston and implantation has been a horrible experience. I have purchased numerous cars and recommended cars to families and friends to the Rick case location, but I may think twice about it going forward My issue is that the lack of customer service skills by the service center teams makes me think twice about purchasing any vehicle with Rick Case in the future. I tried contacting my "service support" person Corey Wells numerous times by phone and by text with no response whatsoever it's been going on for at least a month. The topper today, when I called the 800 number to schedule an appointment, I was told that they didn't have anything for months out and their suggestion was I could take my car to another company to have them service it. I questioned the response of the customer service person that he suggested I leave Rick Case to go outside to have my car serviced. I may take him up on the offer and leave Rick Case for everything. Went to Rick Case Hyundai today after waiting 6 weeks for and appointment. I went there because my white paint was coming off my 2019 white Sonata vi had a case number and have a case manager from the corpor and appointment. I went there because my white paint was coming off my 2019 white Sonata vi had a case number and have a case manager from the corporate Hyundai headquarters but Mr Danny Shannon at Rick Case refused to call them or take down the case number. He said it was not his job and he is suppose to be the service manager! Mr Shannon then ignored me and would not tell me where my car was. I had to go out and find it myself. It was being blocked by other cars. It took me some time to get out of there. I was shocked at the rudeness and treatment they give out there especially from a so called service manager! More
2021, I purchased a new Hyundai Ionic Blue at Rick Case, in Davie, Florida. At the 1st service, I had to wait for quite some time as the 'technician' had sprayed oil over the engine and then had to clean i in Davie, Florida. At the 1st service, I had to wait for quite some time as the 'technician' had sprayed oil over the engine and then had to clean it. 2022, when a sun visor was replaced, the 'technician' left greasy finger marks all over the headliner and door – which I had to clean. 2023, I had a 1:00 pm appointment and didn't leave until 5:20 pm as the 'technician' had sprayed oil over the engine (again), which I had to point out to them, and which they the 'technician' had to clean. However, the 'technician' did a sloppy cleaning job on the engine and left some sort of liquid on the hood – which Mr. Aaron Clark in the Sevice Dept., although not his job, kindly cleaned. Based on my experience, it seems, 'technicians' in the Service Dept. take no pride whatsoever in the quality of their work. Totally unacceptable. If I could award zero or minus stars, I would. More
Rick Case in Weston/Davie This is how companies loss their customers. Today 4-14-23 I had and appointment for a recall. I made this appointment in February. I arrived @8am and guess what. No part loss their customers. Today 4-14-23 I had and appointment for a recall. I made this appointment in February. I arrived @8am and guess what. No parts were ever ordered for my appointment. Mr Danny Shannon (Automotive Service manager) told me in-front of everyone( so it’s recorded in their cameras). “Why should we order a part if we don’t even know if your showing up for your appointment “. And he repeated again. My service person who was very polite, told him he checked and it was never, ever ordered. Given I get text and emails weekly until yesterday, remind me if my up coming appointment. That So call service manager Danny Shannon said that they had the part for other customers that were coming but not for me. So how should I look at this, is he being prejudiced in some way. He most certainly doesn’t belong in his position. He had absolutely No place telling me what he said. THIS is how you LOOSE customer completely.
