We were greeted by Marco who accommodated and was very understanding of our needs as well as what we wanted in monthly payments due to my potential retirement and the birth of our first grandchild. We did, in fact, leave that day without a purchase, then subsequently returned a day or so later and Jeremy assisted us when Marco was helping out another customer. Jeremy had both my husband and I test drive the vehicle and we were sold at that point on the Sonata due to the comfort, ease and luxury of this vehicle. Upon acceptance of the vehicle, Jeremy came in to meet us on his day off in order to show us the workings of the XM Radio, bluetooth technology, air conditioning, storage within the vehicle's compartments, "under the hood", etc. We want to thank Rick Case for a pleasant experience in car purchasing. My sister-in-law is currently in the market for a new vehicle and will be a potential customer at your dealership in the near future. Thank you again for making this experience not a stressful one for us and they should both be commended for their professionalism and salesmenship. More
Salesman fully complied with all verbal offers made and achieved terms and conditions we required for leasing of a 2011 Genesis. Furthermore,he dedicated ample time to touring through exploring the vehicle achieved terms and conditions we required for leasing of a 2011 Genesis. Furthermore,he dedicated ample time to touring through exploring the vehicle's features, provided us access to certain benefits provided by Rick Case and fully assisted us in the return of the prior leased vehicle to corresponding dealer. It is quite uncommon to find car salesmen and a dealer with integrity as a priority and Mr. Anson and Rick Case both well exceeded our expectations......no tricks, last minute charges or other unethical practices. I have a very strict policy concerning business ethics and had discarded other Hyundai dealers which we verified were playing games with our time and therefore pockets as well.....would be pleased to refer Mr. Anson and Rick Case. I went in to the dealership to buy a new car. I stated that I was buying it within two days. I knew what I wanted to buy and had already test driven the Sonata I wanted. Jeremy at Rick Case Hyundai in Davie, FL was friendly and seemingly straightforward. I already knew what the cost of the vehicle was, net of holdbacks and dealer cash. I was open and honest about this knowledge and I communicated that I understood that dealerships need to make money like everyone and wanted the dealer to make a fair profit. However, I wanted the profit to be reasonable to both the dealership and to me. I waited an extra day to buy the car since the salesman I spoke with was on vacation the day after I met him. I did not shop any other dealers and intended to buy from Rick Case. When I called to finalize the deal the day after that, I was told that I had to purchase Rick Case's dealer package. This was a shock. I was told that I cannot buy a car from his dealership, or any other Rick Case dealerships in the country for that matter, without this package. This package includes mainly garbage items like nitrogen filled tires. But the biggest ticket item was a third party extended powertrain warranty for 20 years/200,000 miles. I told the salesman that I already stated many times before that I did not want any dealer packages or service plans or warranties. I was informed that I could not do that; in other words, the extended warranty was mandatory. I was incensed. I told Jeremy that I did not want it and would not buy a car from him if he tried to force it on me. I also told him that he didn't mention the package beforehand. Then Jeremy tried to explain all the benefits of the package. I reiterated that I did not want the so-called warranty and that it was unnecessary since Hyundai itself already offers 10 years/100,000 miles for the powertrain. By the way, this package retails at $1595, which is mostly pure profit to the dealer. I had already figured in a profit for the dealership and stated that if it wasn't acceptable to give me a counter-offer. They did not. Instead of dealing with me in an honest fashion, as I had with them, the dealership tried to stuff the extended warranty down my throat. After a 30 minute phone call, I told them to consider changing their sales techniques if they want to retain any customers. There are several Hyundai dealerships in South Florida one can choose from. Rick Case Hyundai in Davie does not deserve your business. I bought a car from Coconut Creek Hyundai from Eli for essentially the same price two days later. The profit the dealer made was reasonable and acceptable to both parties. It was a painless experience and I was out of the dealership in less than two hours, driving my beautiful new Sonata. I highly recommend Coconut Creek Hyundai. Don't bother wasting your time with Rick Case Hyundai. You can do much better and give your business to a dealership that treats you with respect and honesty. More
I had taken my 2010 Hyndai Sonata for service on two different occassions to Rick Case Hyndai. My service advisor has always been Mr. Alexander Almeida. I need to say that I am extremely pleased with different occassions to Rick Case Hyndai. My service advisor has always been Mr. Alexander Almeida. I need to say that I am extremely pleased with Mr. Almeida's professionalism, expertise and the quality of service offered. You need to have more advisors like Mr. Almeida as he makes every visit to the dealership a pleasure. More
I had issues with my credit. They did not make me feel bad for my past blemishes, I felt they worked hard on getting me a fair intrest rate. I absolutely love my 2011 Hyundai Elantra, the 20 year 200000 m bad for my past blemishes, I felt they worked hard on getting me a fair intrest rate. I absolutely love my 2011 Hyundai Elantra, the 20 year 200000 mile warrenty really gave me a great feeling that I do not have to shop again for a new car for years. First, their sticker price on the USED car I was interested in was over $4k higher than what other dealers are offering vehicles with the same make/model/options/mileage. The salesperson TWICE quoted me a fair "out the door" price, only to raise it by $3k once I sat down to do the deal. Needless to say, don't waste your time with this dealership- I'm glad I didn't buy the car now; I can only imagine their level of service! More
