I bought a 2010 Honda Accord EX in the year 2010 from Rick Case and really enjoyed my car buying experience. In fact, I loved the customer service so much that I have been a loyal Rick Case customer since then. Whenever I need any maintenance, Rick Case was my first choice. It's been about 5 years since my last purchase and my needs have changed. I drive a lot, so I was interested in trading in my car and purchasing an EX-L Honda Accord Hybrid. Not only that, but I talked my brother into buying the same car! So, there was a possibility of two sales on the table. Naturally, Rick Case was my first choice. Initially, we wanted to test drive the vehicle since the both of us are Hybrid newbies. Bob Garfinkel, in the sales department helped us. He was on point and very helpful. We told him that we would be in before the year was over to work up a deal. He seemed very helpful. This past week, I went to visit Bob to cut a deal for my brother and I. We wanted him to get the commission. Two cars...and a loyal customer... I was sure to get another great car buying experience. However, that was not the case. The Bob from the test drive was not the same Bob...attitude wise. Please don't get me wrong...he was very polite, BUT seemed very uninterested in selling 2 cars, even after I told him I am buying them TODAY! In fact, he didn't want to even negotiate a deal nor did he ask me to sit in a cubicle to talk prices. We sat at the tables near the entrance. :( He never COUNTERED offered and at times never approached the manager on staff! He was more interested in finding out how I came up with "my car buying formula" then trying to sell the cars. Come to think of it, the only time the manager came to talk to me was to tell me that my 2010 Accord was worth 7500 (whereas another dealer was offering me 9000). I am very shocked and truly disheartened by my experience or lack of. I really wished Bob worked harder in helping this loyal customer, but he didn't. My brother and I went to Aventura Honda right afterwards and purchased 2 Honda Accord EX-L Hybrids that same day and what a difference! I've recommended Rick Case to others, but now I don't think I will anymore. I really wanted to give our business to Rick Case....but what happened to the level of customer care??? Guys, if you want GREAT deal (as opposed to just a good deal), visit Aventura Honda and speak with Albert! He will work really hard for you! Thank you for reading. More
