I used the internet for shopping. I spoke with a salesman who claimed he was not on commission lie #1. He told me he had the car in stock I was looking for lie #2. He was not motivated to give me p salesman who claimed he was not on commission lie #1. He told me he had the car in stock I was looking for lie #2. He was not motivated to give me pricing over the phone although he said he could match or probably beat the deal I had lie #3. He told me the only way he could get real competitive was to come in lie #4. So against my good judgment I took an hour ride to Rick Case Honda in near Weston Fl to meet with this non-commissioned "salesman" who said he could beat the deal and had the car in stock mistake #1. So upon arriving to the dealership we were greeted by the eager non salesman salesman who was putting on fake salesman face like he was happy we were there. He was overly friendly and wanted us to take a test drive. He said unfortunately that the car we wanted just had gotten sold just moments to us getting there lie #5. But by a miracle he had the next more expensive model available truth #1. We drove the car blah blah he spoke to my wife about the features which he was knowledgably truth #2. We got back to the showroom where they appraised my car which appraised well. But of course they played the game with the lease payment and increased it truth #3. During my email exchanges with this non salesman salesman he knew EXACTLY what I was looking for. 0 down 0 inceptions 36 months 12000 miles Tax included....SIMPLE I was upfront and honest. So we get back he gives us the number...the car dealership games begun. $40 difference a month with out tax included which shot up the deal higher. A little go back and forth and he said yes we can do for the payment I was looking for...but he wanted to clarify the color and model. He said he was getting another shipped and would be in tomorrow which would have been last Sunday lie# I think 6. He comes back and yes he can do it, but he just wanted to make sure that payment was not including tax and plus first payment and tag...again shooting up the price again...then he told me all the great benefits to buying at Rick Case which since I lived an hour away I could take 0 advantage of all the "perks" free carwashes, discounted gas which he seemed not to quite comprehend that I could not use but he insisted to tell me why the perks were worth it he even said we pay the attorneys when you get a ticket...c'mom man my wife drives a minivan! I had enough of the lies...asked for MY keys back and Mr. Friendly Salesman non salesman got mad. He handed me my keys and WALKED AWAY without saying goodbye, no sorry he lied to us, have a nice holiday nothing. HE DISMISSED US it was probably the rudest I have ever been treated in a dealership. I have bought and leased many cars over the years I was shocked the way I was treated because of the so-called reputation of Rick Case. I usually just do internet sales but not here not with Rick Case Honda. So we left but remembered he wrote down my wife's Social to check payoff of our current Honda lease and I wanted to get that paper back since we knew this person could not be trusted. I saw him outside asked him for the paper with my wife's social he reached into his pocket handed it to me and then walked away. NO WORDS Exchanged Nada. So I went with a deal from Johnson Honda of Stuart which I got the deal I was looking for I even took a less for my trade because of the better expierence. I drove 2 hours to get the car. Where we were treated unbielvably by Rick Fuss of their internet department which the entire deal besides the paperwork was done over the phone. What a difference a short drive made. I will never step back into Rick Case again and a little dealership 2 hours away just earned my business how crazy is that. This was my wife's 6th Honda count it 6...our business was there to be had but Mr. non salesman salesman one and done approach failed. Yes in about 3 years my wife will get her 7th Honda it just will not be bought from Rick Case I will be driving up the road. I had mulitple offers and in the end I went with the person and dealership that treated us the best even if I payed a pinch more.... More

Buying a new car is a huge process for me - from deciding which make, model and trim to deciding where and how to purchase. And I wanted to do it entirely online until we'd reached an agreement on a price. W which make, model and trim to deciding where and how to purchase. And I wanted to do it entirely online until we'd reached an agreement on a price. Working the initial phases of a deal in email saves time, fuel and...doodah, if you know what I mean. It took a week of online auto research, then several more weeks of emails with various dealers in the South Florida area - most of whom didn't read much, if any, of what I'd written and just insisted on getting me into the showroom to talk - which I had no intention of doing. In the end, it came down to one car and two dealers who were willing to work with me online - not on the phone or in person initially - for the price of the car I wanted. And I chose Rick Case Honda because of Dexter Angry. Dexter was prompt and professional and patient throughout our entire email correspondence. He paid attention to the specifics of the deal (I'm a fussy customer), was honest, and genuinely delightful to work with from start to finish. The actual dealership experience was also very pleasant. I worked with several F&I agents - Yosuan Martinez, Eric Weaver, and Vitali Lichtenstein - all gentlemen, all cordial, all professional. And before I drove off in my new car, Andrew Carrillo came out to thank me. Rick Case Honda is committed to a good customer experience, and it really shows. I will be servicing my car there exclusively in the future and hope their service department is as attentive as their sales and finance department. I just picked up my new 2012 Accord EX-L yesterday and started what I hope to be a long and happy relationship with Rick Case Honda. Cheers! More
