Among other things that were important to us, my husband and I particularly wanted a feature-rich car that did NOT have a sunroof - AKA: a needle in a haystack! While Dave stayed in touch with us via email over the course of several weeks, he was never bothersome or intrusive, and he never wasted our time. However, he was quick to let us know when a car hit the lot that he felt would suit us. Of course he was right, and this was the car we bought! In a world where loyalty and investment in one's employees seems to be a thing of the past (especially when it comes to sales people), we respectfully encourage you to hold onto Dave Gill and treat him the very best that you can. Great customer experience! I first met with Bob Wilkinson and went on a test drive of the 2014 Ford explorer. He was extremely nice and not pushy at all. I liked the car and came back the next day and met with Michael Arnold since Bob was off. Michael found the car I wanted exactly and even went up to PA to pick it up for me......now, that's great customer service.! He also promised me that I could download my music off my 2010 Edge and when we found out we really couldn't do it he volunteered to download all my music form the CD to a thumb drive for my new 2014 Explorer...another GREAT customer service........oh, and one more thing...there was a slight blemish in the paint and Michael pointed it out to me and volunteered to take it to the shop to fix it........Another great customer service experience. Most dealers wouldn't have sais anything about it! I also want to thank Joey Foust.....what a nice guy to deal with and guest service manager.......I bought the package to coat the exterior and interior of my car and he set me up to have it done. I also purchased a mat for the rear of the car and he got it for me and installed it........Now that is another great example of customer service! Thank you Richmond Ford West! I saw the car, I then purchased, one week before I bought it there. After shopping other dealers for three days I went back to Richmond Ford West. When I called Teri back, she was so helpful, and made room in her day to work with us. Along with the help of Parke, Joey, and Doug the deal was done. I love my new Ford Edge! They were all so kind to my husband and I, and our sons during the process. This was on Sunday 5/25/14, we returned on Saturday 5/31/14 for a protection plan we purchased, and found a pre-owned car for our daughter, and purchased that as well. I would like to say that Parke was so kind, and I appreciated how he treated my daughter on her first car purchase (she is 18), he walked her through the negotiation, and finally the deal. I will remember how caring you were with her, it meant a lot to us. Finally, Michael was the previous owner of the car she bought, and was a delight to work with as well. Doug worked very hard to help us both times to finalize the process. Joey was additionally kind, and accomodating with our protection plan with my Edge, he was top notch. We will definitely be back to Richmond Ford West for my husband, who wants a new Ford F-250, once we re-budget.... I have never enjoyed car buying in my 45 years, until dealing with these fine folks!
