My Experience Purchasing a 2014 Ford Fusion I'll be honest, I wasn't sure what to expect when an almost 7' gentleman stepped out on the new car lot to offer his assistance.Within moments, I felt I'll be honest, I wasn't sure what to expect when an almost 7' gentleman stepped out on the new car lot to offer his assistance.Within moments, I felt completely welcomed and valued (Jack was sure to introduce me to everyone on the Richmond Ford staff as we encountered them:). Jack was prompt to generate a quote from his General Manager, Austin, and was encouraging when I explained that I would need to share the figures with my husband later that night. I returned the next morning with a vehicle to be appraised for trade and asked Jack if I could test drive the Fusion under consideration and he had it ready for me upon my arrival. Not only was a test drive in order, but Jack suggested that I take some time enjoying the area on my drive while they ran the appraisal and the final numbers. Richmond Ford was the fifth dealership I visited over the last week while contemplating which make, model and specs we might want but the customer service I received at Richmond Ford was second to none.Jack Conner was the face of this experience and he made every facet of it simple, entertaining and void of any pressure whatsoever. Jack obviously loves people which renders him excellent at his job and the rapport among the Richmond Ford staff was heartwarming. Few people have the genuine ability to affirm every person they meet, but Jack demonstrated this trait among his colleagues and toward me. As I was finishing the paperwork for my new purchase, a former customer popped in just to say hello. He was in the area and wanted to give Jack his regards. This was a tremendous testimony to the "Jack Conner Experience"--for Jack, his career is selling cars and his mission is enriching lives. Thank you for such an excellent experience, Jack. In my 25 years of purchasing vehicles, no experience has come CLOSE to this one. More

Best Buy ever!!!! I totaled my truck last week and was dreading car shopping. I had heard many good things about Richmond Ford, regarding fair prices and excellent customer service. I finally ended up there around 4PM on Sunday, after stopping at several other dealerships. I was exhausted, uncomfortable from the aches of the accident, and frustrated by the lack of assistance offered at other local dealerships. Before I got out of the vehicle, Sam Adams was on his way to meet me. He listened to what we wanted and immediately recommended a few options. In less than 15 minutes, I was test driving a Nissan Pathfinder. Sam was attentive and fair, allowing me to quickly make a deal that I am sure gives me an awesome vehicle for an outstanding price. I knew Richmond Ford would be my last stop in car shopping. It should have been my first! Thanks Sam and the rest of the team at Richmond Ford! :) More

From the minute we arrived, we were treated with friendly and prompt service. We spent most of our time with J.T. Gold. Although he was fairly new, he did an excellent job of being patient and answering our many questions. If he was not 100% sure about something, he was able to get us an answer from one of his coworkers fairly quickly. Once negotiations began, we dealt mostly w/Steve Smith. He worked with us and helped us arrive at a number that we felt very comfortable with. We felt that once we arrived at a closing deal, the process did take a lot longer than we thought it would. We arrived at 12:30 and didn't leave until after 4:30. We know this process isn't meant to be a real quick one, however, this did seem to take longer than it has for us in the past. Overall, we were very impressed with the attentiveness of the staff. We had many people throughout the process checking in on us, including, Mike, the General Manager. great place to buy a car I had to quickly purchase a used car for my daughter...while I was on vacation in Va from California. I saw the 2000 Taurus SE wagon advertised thru I had to quickly purchase a used car for my daughter...while I was on vacation in Va from California. I saw the 2000 Taurus SE wagon advertised thru USAA, as Richmond Ford is one of their preferred dealers. We drove from Norfolk to Richmond, saw the car on the lot, looked nice n clean. Jarad met us in the parking lot and immediately asked us if we needed refreshments. He was very polite and not pushy at all. We looked the car over, and Jarad answered my many questions very patiently and with skill. I personally really appreciated the lack of aggression to sell the car, although after the test drive I knew this would be the perfect car for my daughter. Jarad was very patient and apologetic during the sale process, as there was a lot of paperwork to do. He provided us with refreshments the whole way thru the process. We also found out that he'd only been there for two weeks and this was his first sale; we also learned that because of this being his first sale, he was to lose his tie. He was really a good sport about it though. I also want to commend Chris Southworth, who made the financing process really really painless, and was able to find me a loan with a lower rate than I had been previously approved. I had a wonderful experience buying my first new vehicle. I did a lot of research on the vehicle I wanted, and wanted to test drive it before Evelyn got to work on financing possibilities.
