He gave a young man like myself an opportunity to purchase my dream car. He worked alongside Mr. Conner around the clock to make sure that I walked away with the car that I wanted. Mr. Southworth was able to turn a slim chance into a very true reality. They both excelled at explaining what was needed of me, as well as what they were doing to get me in a brand new vehicle. These two men are the "batman & robin" of the car sales industry. This may very well be that only place I ever buy a vehicle as long as they are around. Best Car Buying Experience Ever!!! To tell you all the truth, my husband and I hadn't bought a car in about 6 years. We went to a local dealer where we lived to get a price on a Ford E To tell you all the truth, my husband and I hadn't bought a car in about 6 years. We went to a local dealer where we lived to get a price on a Ford Edge I had been looking at. They wouldn't even let us test drive the car until they found out all about my credit rating and income, I was not impressed and very frustrated with this. I told my husband, I would find a car elsewhere. I started researching dealers on the internet and put in a radius of 500 miles from my address. I found this dealership on the internet on autotrader.com. I was a little leary on looking into the car for I lived over 7 hours away from the dealership and really had no idea what I was getting myself into. I had my husband call on the phone and he spoke with Jose. Jose couldn't of treated us any better from the get go. He was so polite and was awesome to deal with. We must of called and texted him 100x's that day with several questions. Jose did a deal over the phone in just a few hours with my husband. I was not asked any of my personal information until I drove down to buy the car! When I arrived to buy the car, I was more than impressed with the facility and all the staff. All the staff we met were all very nice. Jose came right up to us and said, do you want to take your car for a test drive 1st? I couldn't believe it...I had such a terrible experience with the other dealership in my town that this dealership was the total opposite. We test drove the car and I felt like Jose was part of our family from the start. He was so nice and knowledgeable about the car, features, etc. We came back and signed on the dotted line. I can tell you that the paperwork was all ready for our signature and was just the deal they said over the phone. I couldn't of been more happy. Every person did the job efficiently and was a pleasant experience. Jose, Kayla, Steve and Chris....thanks to all of you for making the deal the best one I ever had. I have never owned a brand new vehicle until now! I love my Ford Edge and it drove like a charm all the way home...it was a long ride down and back but well worth the trip from PA. I wish we lived closer to be able to take advantage of all the perks from Richmond Ford, it truely was an awesome experience. We will be back in the future to purchase another vehicle. Richmond Ford is the BEST Dealership I had listened to Edmonds and they only selected Sheehy Ford for best discounted price. I walked into Richmond Ford was greeted as soon as I walked in I went over to a salesman I had seen before and he welcomed me and told me we will sell you a car today we work harder than anyone. This is so true. This is my second Ford from Richmond Ford and I will never go anywhere else and I will tell all my friends and family about the great experience I had. My salesman was Jack Conner he called over Austin Dombrowski General Sales Manager and introduced us. Again have never had this type of treatment. I let Jack know I was interested in the Ford Edge and we walked outside in the rain and picked out the vehicle of my choice I also liked it when Jack said don't you worry about the price on the sticker. Went back to Jack's desk asked me if I wanted a complimentary drink and always made sure I was relaxed and not to worry. Then I meet Troy Charles (Sales Manager) very friendly and knowledgeable about his job. Troy ran some numbers and asked me how do these work for you. I said it was a little out of my range that I could continue to support my family. After a few questions he came back and did everything in his power and we made the deal meeting my request. Then the party really started they were still so friendly and did everything they could to make me feel like part of the Richmond Ford Family. At this time Danielle Hodges was introduced to me and she went over lots of great additions for my 2014 Ford Edge. I at this time could not make my payment anymore than it was I was at my limit and she was still just as friendly and smile and let me know I have up to Thirty (30) days to sign up for any of the offers. Then I was introduced to Daryl Edgerton very professional. He also went over a few services offered by Ford but I just couldn't go anymore on my payment. We completed the paperwork and I was congratulated by the whole staff that worked with me to make this deal possible. My new Edge was detailed and ready to transfer the items I had in my 2014 Fusion and was then in front of my new Ford Edge having a picture taken with my new friend Jack Connor which then he walked me through all the bells and whistles on my new vehicle. This dealership is just not a dealership it becomes a family and or a circle of new friends. The only thing I would of liked but couldn't afford is I plan on keeping this vehicle for a long time I would of loved to of had the extra bumper to bumper warranty with maintenance package but you just cant get everything. I am finished writing this experience which was one of the greatest and friendliest experience of buying a new car. A new car is a big part of your life next to buying a home this is the second biggest thing you can buy. I would like to thank all that worked with me again and I want to mention their names again because I will not forget one (1) of them.
