Awful deceptive and very disappointing I had my wife carry my 2008 Lincoln MKX in to Richmond Ford for an oil change and to determine if my air bags were on the recall list. My wife was to I had my wife carry my 2008 Lincoln MKX in to Richmond Ford for an oil change and to determine if my air bags were on the recall list. My wife was told the air bags would need to be evacuated but did nothing to perform this evaluation. In the course of performing the oil change the service technician did what Richmond Ford described as a courtesy inspection and determined that the power steering fluid needed to be drained and refilled. This great information was to cost me upward of 180 dollars . I would later pay 104 dollars at a nationally recognized car service provider whom I have been doing business with for years. But this is not what was disappointing. After getting the oil change and "courtesy inspection "my wife drives a block away and felt a very odd shake in the vehicle. She took the car back and was told there was an issue with a motor mount. An immediate claim was filed with our warranty company to make repairs. The day before the service was to be performed, my wife called to learn there was no paperwork on the impending service and no one knew what was going on. Frustrated my wife took the car to Firestone Complete Car Care. A full inspection of the car by Firestone revealed the car has newly installed motor mounts. It is painfully obvious Richmond Ford had created an issue to make a non needed repair or to claim to have made a repair in an effort to charge my warranty provider. Let me be clear; I am a loyal Ford owner. I have even purchased a vehicle from this location in the past. This is not a reflection on the Ford brand but on this dealership's service department and its service manager. More
Richmond Ford is the best!! When we pulled into the lot Kevin Chilin came out to greet us. We talked about what kind of truck we were looking for and he went and got it. Kevin made the buying process very easy. Bam Bam talked to us about different upgrades. We got the spray in bedliner, undercoating and ceramic paint coating. It all looks great. Dino Faupel did a great job on getting us the financing we needed. James Johnson did a great job at with the warranty and service packages and putting it all together. Great team effort. Thanks!! He had actually been willing to accommodate our busy schedules by coming into work on a Sunday which was his regularly scheduled day-off. When arriving at the dealership, he had already set-up two vehicles for us to look at and test drive. His knowledge of the vehicles was unquestioned. He worked diligently to help us find the best vehicle for our family needs. As we asked our questions, he thoroughly answered each one with care. You could tell he WAS NOT all about the sale, rather more about what will work for us. After test driving the Lincoln Navigator, he searched his database to find one that was nearby since they did not have the exact model on the lot. Jas worked to make sure he found the EXACT match. He had the paperwork pre-started before we arrived so we would know exactly what type of price point we needed to consider. If you are going to Richmond Ford Lincoln to purchase a Lincoln, make sure you see Jas!! After finding our new Lincoln, we met with Christy who provided all our financial options. She was extremely friendly and very willing to explain all of the additional options we had to make our purchase complete, She helped make great suggestions that we will benefit from in the future. Upon the arrival of the vehicle, we went in to check-out the new SUV. Justin was in charge of a few services needed to prolong the value of the vehicle, Justin went out of his way to seek me out to explain how the process would work, thriving to make it happen within our time frame.
