This is the worst BMW dealership on the East Coast. It felt more like a Kia dealership. Sales manager is completely unprofessional and extremely sloppy and sales people should be working at McDonalds, the felt more like a Kia dealership. The only thing this dealership cares about is selling a car and making a profit and they will attempt to do whatever it takes just to move a hunk of metal. They care nothing about their customers and try to pressure you into purchasing that day. WORST BMW DEALER!!! STAY AWAY!!! More
My wife and I where looking for a used BMW X-5, to purchase. We where looking at several dealerships in the Richmond area, to included stores like Car-Max., etc... We came across a certified 2006 B purchase. We where looking at several dealerships in the Richmond area, to included stores like Car-Max., etc... We came across a certified 2006 BMW X-5 at the Richmond BMW in Midlothian, Va. The sales person that helped us out was Khaled Sofrata. He was very helpful and from the start he let us know that he was there to help the X-5 sale it's self. He did a great job of keeping us informed and actually, for a sales person, a relief, compared to all the others we had run into in the Richmond area. He had lots of support behind him, such as, Bob Nance, his Sales Manager, who new what to say and had all the answers to all our questions to include why we should buy a certified BMW, which we did. What impressed us the most was that they where always trustworthy and stood behind what they said, no hidden cost or unexpected changes, etc.. I also got a call from the GM - Joe Chapman who actually gave us the deal we wanted.....and of course the many other professionals there we encountered in the services area, parts etc..... From the beginning to the end of the entire process, everyone there was very helpful and very knowledgeable, which in turn made the process of purchasing our BMW a excellent experience. From our experience, at Richmond BMW in Midlothian Va. they had all the bases covered, from customer service to financial support.....we would not only buy another vehicle from them but would recommend them to our family and all our friends and neighbors....oh yea, even after we purchased the 2006 BMW X-5 they still today treat us with as there top priority, thanks again to all of you at Richmond BMW Midlothian! This does not feel as a luxury-car dealer. The showroom does not have the professionalism and warmth of a Lexus or Infinity dealership. You negotiate to buy a car out in the open on the showroom floor. Eve does not have the professionalism and warmth of a Lexus or Infinity dealership. He wanted me to buy a car so he could meet his quota which is not on my list at all as a reason for buying a car. The sales manager was worse: he was insulting me and the sales rep. He had called me on the phone and said that they are wanting to deal because it is the end of the month and they have lots of incentives, but when I got there, he was trying to charge me list price. When I asked about the "deals", he told me if I wanted to buy a cheap car, then go buy a Chrysler. I wished I had told him that I feel as if I'm in a Chrysler dealership. I own a BMW 7 series which I purchased from the dealership. My wife was shopping for a car and we ordered a new 5 series for her. We were in the dealership less than an a hour including the test drive. Bob provided honest council on what extra's we needed and didn't need. The purchase was easy and painless. My wife said she would rather get a root canal than buy a car but this was different. Then about two weeks before the car was due in a person backed into my 7 series. I take such good care of that car. Anyway they told me to bring it to the dealership and they took care of everything. The spoke to the adjuster and made sure everything was perfect again. So last week we picked up both cars. Bob Lance really understands the new car and the complex electronics. He explained everything and set up the car just the way my wife wanted it. She really loves the car and had a great experience. I was very impressed with both their sales and service. This is not the typical dealership. Bob Nance was great. Got a great deal with no haggle. No pressure to buy or to get add-ons. Everyone was fair and friendly. I was very satisfied with the services that were done on my car and the with the timely manner in which the work was done on my BMW. It has been a problem finding a BMW dealer who had the experienced mecha my car and the with the timely manner in which the work was done on my BMW. It has been a problem finding a BMW dealer who had the experienced mechanics that could work on my 1988 528e BMW. And it was a pleasant surprise that they have mechanics that are experienced to work on my car, that took the time to explain to me what they had done (what my service had involved). This dealership has exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend them to other BMW owners. More
