This is the second BMW we have purchased from Crown BMW in Midlothian. Our dealer experience with the first purchase was excellent. My wife and I could not have had a better experience had they given us the car. We had been shopping luxury SAVs for 3 months. I had actually visited 5 dealers in search of the best deal. I sent an email they given us the car. We had been shopping luxury SAVs for 3 months. I had actually visited 5 dealers in search of the best deal. I sent an email to Midlothian BMW simply because they advertised a great price on the vehicle we were looking for on their website, and within minutes I got a call from possibly the nicest and most knowledgeable BMW salesmen that I had spoken with, Jimmy Poole. It wasn't the usual auto response to an email; he had all the answers to my questions, and instantly provided me with real numbers, not scenarios. We communicated for several days after and he was never pushy or aggravated with my questions, and actually answered them. This is a rare quality these days. We encountered other dealers with a "buy it, or don't" attitude. Midlothian BMW is a 3 hour drive from our home outside of Roanoke, VA. We both took the day off from work to make the drive. When we arrived at the dealership, we were instantly greeted by Peter Barabasz as if we had bought 10 cars there before. Beverages and snacks were offered. During our test drive, Jimmy Poole was very knowledgeable and was able to explain all the features of the vehicle. No one at the dealership seemed to mind or seem to be put out that we wanted to test drive and look at multiple models. Once the test drive and the initial paperwork was done, we entered the negotiation phase. Usually the most uncomfortable part of purchasing a vehicle, only took 5 mins. We got top dollar for our trade and the numbers were exactly what we wanted. We instantly went into the finance office where Brandon Beckner completed all the paperwork in record time. I have spent hours in these finance offices being pushed into every add on available. Brandon explained the options available to us and let us decide if we wanted them or not. His attitude did not change at all if we chose not to purchase an add on. We ended up choosing a protection package not because we felt like we had to, but because it made sense. With input from Brandon and Rick Rosanno, we knew it was money well spent. Our overall experience with our new BMW lease at Midlothian BMW was fantastic. It was well worth the 6 hour round trip. The staff went above and beyond to make our experience pleasant. I will not buy a vehicle in the future without calling Jimmy Poole first. Thank you for the opportunity to share this experience. The purchase of my new BMW X1 from Richmond BMW Midlothian was a very positive experience. Jimmy Poole patiently explained to me everything I needed to know about the car and and the differences b Midlothian was a very positive experience. Jimmy Poole patiently explained to me everything I needed to know about the car and and the differences between the 28i and the 35i. There was only one 35i at the dealer and it was located in the showroom. Jimmy moved the car out of the showroom and gave me the opportunity to drive it so that I could compare it with the 28i. Good decision -- I purchased the 35i on the spot. After the purchase, Jimmy walked me through the technology package and all it options -- and there were many! I felt the trade-in on my 2006 BMW 325i station wagon was very fair. There were no surprises with the financial end of the purchase. Both Brandon Beckner and Aaron Mason are experts and explained the purchase process. They were also helpful in working with my credit union. Overall, the purchase process of the car was a "10."
