I purchased a 2008 Porsche Boxster on or around September 22, 2022, the original deal was not terrible, but there were several punch list items that the salesman agreed to fix as part of the sale and to be i 22, 2022, the original deal was not terrible, but there were several punch list items that the salesman agreed to fix as part of the sale and to be included in the contract (radio did not work, agreed to fix or replace; air filter under dashboard was filthy and spit out dirt into the car; there were 2 warning alerts on the dashboard that he agreed to clear; the convertible top needed sleeves to cover the cable on either side of the car). I agreed to buy the car with those items corrected. I waited and waited for service to be provided, it never was provided, the car was left to sit on Morton's parking lot for a total of SIX WEEKS with NO SERVICE. I stopped by the dealership many times and called and texted the salesman many times and finally visited the general manager to inquire why my car was getting not attention, I never got a straight answer, the Porsche specialist was in the hospital and was overworked , the radio man never came to see the car, they were waiting for a part for the convertible top, they never addressed the failure to put in a fresh air filter. So I went to visit the car, it sat so long that now the battery wouldn't start and when I tried to start it with my key, the key became stuck in the ignition and NOONE, not the service manager, not the salesman, no one could remove the key and start the car. So I waited another week until Porsche specialist came to the dealership and finally started the car, but he didn't provide any other service described above and agreed to by the salesman as a condition for my purchase. So finally, I just went over and took my car home and will have to pay for the things myself that Morton agreed to fix, they dishonored there own contract with me, I have no respect for that dealership, make sure you have all service agreed to completed before you complete a contract with Morton Mazda!! This is my third car I’ve purchased from Rich Morton Mazda and each time Shan Marfani made sure I had the perfect car for me and made it so easy and simple I wouldn’t go anywhere else! TLDR: Be careful of the finance department of this dealership. Read everything you sign, triple check everything. While the salespeople are friendly and are reasonable, you can get royally screwed by dealership. Read everything you sign, triple check everything. While the salespeople are friendly and are reasonable, you can get royally screwed by the finance department. Either avoid this dealership altogether or if you absolutely have to shop here, be extremely vigilant on what you are signing. They will sneak in all kinds of fees in there, not disclose them to you, they will try to fool you with the payment amount, they may match the payment amount to your liking, but will increase the number of payments, while hiding it from you. Here is what happened to me. As soon as we agreed on a price for a used Lexus LX570, $40,800, the credit was run, approved for 60 months, and I was asked to talk to the financing person in another room. Lenny was the name of the finance person if I am not mistaken. He acts like he is having a bad day everyday and you are at fault for asking any questions. At this point, all I know is the price of the vehicle and the the loan rate, and nothing else. The finance guy tells me to sign some 4-5 blank papers (One about the mileage, another is the bill of sale, selling as is, etc), the typical papers you sign, except blank! His explanation was that if I make any mistake on any of these papers, it may result in delays in issuing the permanent license plate, meanwhile my temporary license plate may expire sooner than they can issue the permanent one, while the potential errors are being fixed. For this reason he insisted that I leave everything blank, including the dates. Anything I ask (like what are the final numbers for interest, tax, dealer fee, etc) he acts super annoyed and tells me all of the papers will be available electronically for me to review later. He refuses to answer any question by passing me to the sales people, or telling me to call the bank and ask them, or just outright telling me I am asking too many questions that he has no answers. At the conclusion he hands me a USB drive which supposedly contains "everything" for me to review at home. After I kindly insisted on showing me what I signed, he prints out the bill of sale. Turns out the total price of the vehicle was some $13,000 more than the agreed 40,800 with no itemization the price. I am strictly talking about the price of the vehicle and not the interest, license plate fee, dealer's fee, which are listed separately. Some 13,000 extra fees! Some 2,000 was supposed to be the tax (I am estimating because there was no way to know) but the rest made absolutely no sense, other than more "dealer's fees" were added. Moreover, They put 84 payments instead of the 60 that we had initially agreed. They added Gap insurance, which I had clearly declined. When I asked why was this added, they tell tell me otherwise your interest rate would have been higher (nonsense). I literally begged everyone on that floor to explained me what these number are, their answer is that I should go check out their website for their dealer's fees. When I complained to the floor manager (Don Burke) about the attitude of the finance guy and that he had me sign blank papers only for me to discover all of these surprises later, the manager justified him saying that it is a normal practice to hand over blank papers to customers to sign and that the finance guy had no way of answering my questions. After spending 8 hours at the dealership, I had them cancel everything and walked out. Hopefully I don't get a call from a collection agency in the future about some loan that was assigned to me. To conclude there is some serious fraud going on in this dealership. It's probably occasional but consistent. They have systemic issues that need to be looked at. I highly doubt making people sign blank papers is legal. But good luck if you end up shopping here because you will need it. More
I had a great experience buying my 2015 300S Chrysler. The sale woman were awesome and the manager truly worked with me in bring down the price of the car. The salesman Richard was assigned to me, and he made absolutely no attempt to help me in anyway. I called and texted him to no avail on getting answers on the vehicle I wanted. He would read my texts then completely ignore them. 2 days went by until I had enough and asked for a new salesman. Was then assigned to Mike Hamilton, he was better at getting back to me, answering me and getting me into the door. Once I arrived, I test drove the vehicle like it and came inside to make a deal. (Note before I came in I also applied for the credit app so no issues would come up and the buying process would be easier.) Once we sat down Mike was extremely rude, I didn’t know the paid off to my vehicle but Mike made comments of “You don’t know the payoff, but you probably do and you don’t want to say.” Then comes the slap in my face, KBB has my trade in at 51-53k and I’ve already been offered 52k at other reputable dealerships which I’ve told them. They continue to offer me 45-46k. Yes you read that right, $6,000 under what my vehicle is actually worth. I’ll be sure to share my experience to help as many people that I can stay away from this scamming dealership. Be smart, save thousands and shop elsewhere. More
Everyone was welcoming and friendly as soon as I walked in to the building. I got there at 7pm. I walked in and asked to take a look at a 2018 Pacifica and immediately Shan Marfani went to get the keys and in to the building. I got there at 7pm. I walked in and asked to take a look at a 2018 Pacifica and immediately Shan Marfani went to get the keys and moved the car over to the front doors. I also ask if it was possible if I can take a test drive due to it being kinda late but with no hesitation Shan had went to get a tag and next thing you know he gave the keys and said “Enjoy.” I pulled back in at 7:15 and me and the wife loved the car. We had seen two prior pacificas but we just didn’t have the “feeling” of it being the one until this one. The first one was at Carmax in White Marsh which was a 2018 lower trim but more expensive with super low miles which was nice but the center drop down DVD player wasn’t operating, the second was a 2020 limited in Brooklyn, NY and that one had missing uconnect headphones, no vacuum hose for the stow and vac, no second spare key, a small tear in the headliner, overall not the best feeling when I sat in it. Not to mention the dealership tried to tack on extended warranty and wouldn’t sell the car unless it is bought. Anyways I’m steering away from my main experience. Once we parked I told Shan we liked it and let’s see how the finance works so we began the paperwork. The dealership itself is definitely family friendly, as there is a kid play area designated for them and the awesome muscle/classic cars for sale was a great place for someone who is into cars just to look at. The kids were occupied as we were waiting for the return of lenders. Shan came back and said I had a few lenders but would try to find the best rate. Now my rate was okay, but right before we signed the paperwork. Tom (I think he was the GM) came over and we had a realistic conversation, agreed to the price shook hands and next thing you know he was able to secure even a lower rate than my initial approval of 1% less than that approved rate right before heading over to Ginger to finish the paperwork. I was out the door of the dealership by 8:50 pm and had a photo taken of us with the car at 9pm. Overall the process was so fast and easy with no complaints. I never felt intimidated or pressured to buy GAP insurance or extended warranty or anything like that from this group. I highly recommend coming here to look at your cars. The price point is fair here so you won’t get a “great deal” or “overpriced deal” it’s just price right which I had no problem paying because the condition of this Pacifica was immaculate. Overall me, the wife and the kids love it. It wouldn’t have happened either if I didn’t shop around and see the prior two Pacificas to know that this was the better one in the better condition with all the little things like unconnect headset, second key fob, dvd remote. (Which was what I was looking for in this car since it is supposed to come with it). Thanks again for reading, I hope you will have the same experience as us. Thanks to Shan, Tom, and Ginger for making the process easy! More

Of course, Silverado needs looked at because it’s got a 7th cylinder misfire. then the dealership I bought it from barely 3 months ago, Rich Morton Mazda in Maryland, is trying to say it’s not going to be 7th cylinder misfire. then the dealership I bought it from barely 3 months ago, Rich Morton Mazda in Maryland, is trying to say it’s not going to be covered under my warranty with whatever Casey has to do to fix it because my warranty only will be effective if the dealership I bought it from in Maryland fixes it. This place has given me nothing but trouble, still can’t even get the truck registered in VA because they didn’t have paperwork from who they bought it from when they sold it to me, and still can’t get it. Got half a mind to just bring the xxxx thing back. This place is a joke man and I’m about over it. More
