For those interested in EEO statistics, I'm an over 50yrs old blk male. (this was not requested by the dealership) My 2001 nissian maxima se, got t-boned(lady ran a red light. no injuries) that resulted in front end and passenger side damage. I talked to David who very throughly explained the insurance proceedure. The car was towed to the body shop within a few hrs of the accident. My insurance co. gave them 10 days to complete repairs which was surprisingly done to my dismay. I had a 'new' camaro (ins.rental) and didn't want to give it back :-) the worksmenship (I checked) was very good. It would have been 'excellent...' I was told the paint chips on the front of the hood wouldn't be visible after they put a powder coloring and clear coat on it. Well I got the CLEAR COAT which made it look better than when it came in. Maybe they forgot the powder. I'm not upset. It wasn't part of the damage. As for custormer service, both David and Russ were very informative, cordial and professional. Actually showing me the extent of damage and how aspects of the repairs would be preformed, ie...the use of the hydrallic puller for frame/grill repair. I felt totally at ease. All questions were answered to my satisfaction. David is in the wrong line of work and is probably underpaid! He deserves an 'Oscar' for his high engery personality. I'm not suggesting he's phoney, in any way, on the contrary, he's quite engaging. Lastly, prior to the above accident, I broke out my rear vent window to retrieve my keys I obviously locked inside. (note: if you have to break a window DON'T break the vent one. the driver or passenger windows are easier to replace if you do it yourself.) In the intrum, I taped it up. I got a replacement from the junkyard but couldn't do it myself. Anyway, I forgot to mention it to Russ or David while they had my car. Upon picking it up, I noticed the tape and mentioned to them I wish I had brought it to their attention. Well to my surprise, they told me to bring it in (whenever) and they would take care of it 'NO CHARGE.' First I thought they joking or setting me up for the 'big take' but a week later I took it by and an hour later it was done, NO CHARGE!! NOW THAT'S CUSTOMER SERVICE! I look forward to doing future business w/them. I'll be sure to let know how that works out. DON'T USE, SELL OR GIVE MY EMAIL ADDRESS OUT FOR ANY ADVERTISING/PROMOTION ECT...OR THE WORLD WILL HEAR ABOUT IT! More
Mr. Dawson was a pleasure to deal with. Some salesman can be very overwhelming and pushy. I appreciated the fact that he took his time to answer all of our questions and concerns, but he also allowed us the be very overwhelming and pushy. My son-in-law has bought two used cars from Artie and felt that I would be treated fairly. He called Artie and told him I was looking at the Mazda 5 and Artie told him to bring me there and he would bea felt that I would be treated fairly. The dealer I was going to sold the Mazda 5 I was interested in and didn't bother to tell me until I got there, needless to say, I did not buy anything from him. I went and talked to Artie and got a good deal without any pressure to buy. He gave me the numbers and then let me decide what I wanted to do. I had to take the van back to get some minor things taken care of and Artie set everything up and called me back to make sure everything was fixed to my satisfaction. I would recommend Artie if you need a good honest sales person. More

Overall good experience. The staff was friendly and answered our questions. We never felt pressured to buy. This is the first time I've ever purchased a car pretty much over the phn! Dexter was never pushy but always friendly and attentive. I appreciated Dexter's honesty- a rare thing in car dealers these days. When I inquired about the internet price, he called me back giving the real price, which was higher because I would not qualif dealers these days.
