My husband and I started at the Used Car lot last week working with Tim. That experience alone almost made us walk away from buying anything from Ricart. If it was not for the friendly phone call, a follo working with Tim. That experience alone almost made us walk away from buying anything from Ricart. If it was not for the friendly phone call, a follow-up call, and a meeting scheduled with Marilee, we would have never been back to Ricart or recommended this dealership to anyone. We arranged an appointment with Marilee who told us immediately she was willing to work with us, and tell us what we could do for us, not what she couldn't. She had a great attitude and really made us feel like we mattered. She made us feel like she wanted to help us get what we wanted, and what made us comfortable. She was not pushy and but only offerred us what we she could based off of what we told her we wanted. She was to-the-point, not waisting our time, and we appreciated this tremendously. Marilee's customer service is impectable and top notch; we would recommend her not only to family and friends, but to anyone considering Ricart. The selection and process to close the deal was seemless, fast and again to the point. We enjoyed working with Marilee and hope to do so in the future. P.S. as for Tim, if he treats all customers like he treated us; you are losing business!! A bad experience is ten times worse then a good experience when it comes to word of mouth. Had it not been for Marilee, we would have told at least ten, if not more, of the terrible experience with Tim. I would recommend 100% you take this individual seriously within the organization. Thanks to Marliee and her team for the great experience and car; we are very happy! More
Rick Johnson was very friendly but the man who wrote our paperwork up was very rude an in such a hurry , he couldn't wait to get rid of us so he could leave for the night. We were only provided 2 seats and there was 3 of us , so 1 of us had to stand in a very small office and was very uncomfortable. When I went to pick up the 2 vehicles i bought and paid cash for we were only given 1 key to them, which I cant get copied since there is a chip in them so NO I would not recommend this establishment to anyone else !! Matter fact I might be bringing them both back since I have the 30 day / three thousand mile warranty on them both . Thanks Polly coleman More

We saw the car we wanted online. We talked to the sales person over the phone. They had it waiting for us , everything was just as the web listing said. Very cut and dry no fuss experience. Your internet pages don't seem very up to date. 3 of the 4 cars we wanted to see were gone and the car we did get listed the tranny as auto but in the list it said it was a 5 speed. We weren't worried as we can drive a manual. Just mentioning it because if someone were looking and couldn't drive stick they would see that and move on. - Rick also mentioned filling the gas tank up and washing it but when we got in there was little over half a tank. I thought it was fairly customary to fill the tank up with spending 15 grand on an automobile. Perhaps not if it's used then you only get half a tank? This is my first used that I have financed so I wasn't sure. - There was several PT Cruisers we were looking at with different prices but the same features but different years. A couple were a year newer with less miles but cost a grand less. When I asked Rick why they were cheaper he wasn't really able to tell me why this was. My wife really wanted the Purple so we got it but all he could offer was "Well you could get the other one if you want it." which seemed kind of rude. I just found it interesting that Ricart offers a low price guarantee on his new cars, but wouldn't try to be consistent on used one. - Last the guy who we did the paper work with was the least personable person I have ever met with in this kind of setting. He seemed very rushed and uptight and no people skills at all. He tried to make some conversation but none of it really came across as friendly. I asked some questions about some of the paperwork and he seemed annoyed and said "Well it's best you understand now than me trying to explain it over the phone" which I do agree with, but I didn't feel him speaking in that tone was appropriate. More
We traded in our car for the Impala. Brandon was very helpful and honest about the cars that we looked at on the Ricart lot. He was definitely a plus in helping us make the right choice of vehicle. My husband and I were very pleased with Dave. He is a great salesman and was definatly in tune to helping us find what we were looking for. When I told her her this, her reply was, "sorry I have two more customers waiting." I felt that this was very unprofessional, disrespectful and as though my transaction was not important or just one among many more of the day. Also, during this process, someone came in a gave her another folder of what I am assuming was the next clients paperwork. She said to him, "it's gonna be a while." While I understand that we were at the dealrship at a very busy time, I know from my expereinces in customer service that you retain customers by making them feel like they are the most important people and that you respect them as well. I perceive her as feeling very stressed in her position and under the gun which in turn transfers to customers who feel the same way. My hope is that this information will be valuable for her in her future transactions with customers. I appreciate that your company is interested in our feedback. May it prove to be valuable now. Jackie has been waiting on me and my Husband to buy a vehicle from her for about five months now. She has the patience of a saint! We had a couple of reasons for waiting for so long. We were going to wait until next year. The van we have is old and broke down on us. I have to drive to work and it's not COTA accessible after a certain hour. When the van broke down...... I was desperate! I e-mailed Jackie and told her I would be riding the COTA bus to Ricart, and to please have a cheap dependable car ready for me. After talking with Mike and me a couple of times....... she pretty much knew what I needed. When I got off the bus, she had my car waiting at the door for me. She pretty much saved my job. I'm very pleased with her. She's a sweetheart. The reason for the rating on the price is that my Son looked up the value of the 2001 Nissan on Kelly Bluebook. According to him,,, we could have bought the car for 3000.00 less. My Husband would also like to know if it's too late to get a carfax sent to us. He thinks the left front fender has been replaced. We have no intention of returning the car. Just curious to know if it's ever been wrecked. I love this little car and am pleased with it. Thanks for EVERYTHING! More
Brian was very personable and knowledgable, answered all the questions I had without having to ask someone else. The only time was during the price negeotiations. It was apleasant experience except when meeting with the dealership Rep., his attitude was rather "crappy',appeared unfriendly, very rushed, I had little time to read what I was signing. i cannot read his name on the papers he signed but he did have a Southern accent. Rating Brian would be a five, the Rep would be a three. More
Just purchased a vehicle that pressured on me, and this was not the vehicle that I was looking for. Sales person stated I could test drive vehicle after paperwork was signed. Got home after driving vehicle was not the vehicle that I was looking for. Sales person stated I could test drive vehicle after paperwork was signed. Got home after driving vehicle, did not like it! Called immediately, and was told that there is no return policy, now everyone I know has seen the commercials, and I have a printed copy of an email that states that they have a 6 month 6000 mile 100% return/exchange policy, when I inquired about this, I was told that only applied to used vehicles!!! Nowhere in writing does it say that, and it doesn't even say to "see dealer for details" I do not reccomend this place, this is the first time I have ever complained about a new car purchase! Apparently I am not alone either, they have over 300 complaints with the attorney general! More
