The overall process for the whole transaction was smooth. When we arrived at the dealership, we were directed as to where to park. Once we got there, Cory greeted us and asked us what we were looking for. He immediately grabbed the keys for a test drive. During the test drive, Cory answered all of our questions. Once we were done, however, Cory didn't push us to immediately make the sale. Rather, he asked what we were thinking, and provided us with information to help the process. During the whole process, Cory checked in to make sure we were doing okay and to let us know how all the paperwork was coming along. The only downside with the price was that Ricart was not negotiable on it--though the internet price that I had was around $7,000 less than their sticker, so it was really no surprise. Overall, the process seemed like Ricart works like a well-oiled machine, but still gives you the friendliness and personal attention that you would expect from a neighborhood dealership. EDIT: The whole process of buying the car was very smooth. Keep in mind, however, that they will try to sell you a service contract through Motor Trend. It seems like a very nice service contract, but make sure you know how much it costs. They showed me the price based on the difference in monthly payment, which was only around $30/mo. After figuring it out, it came to around $4,000 for the whole service. I went ahead and bought it just to be safe, but called a couple days later to cancel. It took me 3 weeks to get routed to the right person to ask the question of if I could cancel the service contract or not, and when I did finally talk to Jeff (the finance associate that had me fill out all the paperwork originally), he cordially told me that there's nothing they could do. If I cancel the service contract, the money goes straight on the loan, but it also cancels the complimentary 6-month warranty that was on there originally. I realize that it is my fault for signing up for the service contract in the first place, but the length of time it took me to find an answer, and the unwillingness to be able to work with me puts me off a little bit. I would still recommend the dealership as their process is smooth, just be forewarned that you will be pushed to buy a service contract. Make sure you know what you are getting into. Overall, it cost me around $250 to make that decision and pull it back (in extra taxes and such). More

Rick gave us a call after we applied online and invited us to come and look around. Upon arrival he was waiting for us at the door. He was friendly and courteous. My thoughts also included the possibility that this would be my "last" car so why did I want to participate in the purchase. I wasn't going to enjoy it. This is the first vehicle "I" have purchased totally by myself. By that I mean I have been shopping off and on via the Internet for over a year. I knew I would eventually find what I was looking for. I found the used 2010 Kia Soul at Ricart and my experience with the staff, in particular, Dan, allowed me to feel empowered during this transaction. More
