They don't care about the consumer I bought a car and the next day went to my salesman with a issues. He said call Ricart Ford service on monday. Called them on Monday and told them what my car was doing and they gave me a transmission service appointment for late September. With no explanation at all. I asked if someone could just look at it. I don't want to wait until September. She said sure just bring it by. Well after my 2nd trip there I was still told that nobody could look at it again. I wasn't taking no for an answer or I wasn't leaving with a car that I got 6 days ago that there is something wrong with it. So I go to my salesman and he asked me what was wrong, he said I'm helping 2 customers right now let me get a manager for you. So he comes down and again I explain the run around and car problems the whole 6 days I have had it. I said I'm not leaving with a car that doesn't run right, that you need to put me into something else. He said well it doesn't work that way. If you want to trade in your car and purchase a brand new car, we can work with you. Well if I could have afforded a brand new car I wouldn't have went to the used car factory. So he said he would make a call to service and get someone to look at my car. So I was sent back to the service department and this is the 5th person today I have talked to. I had to explain again what the car is doing. And finally I get a partial explanation as to why I have an appointment in September. It wasn't until I did my own research did I discover that I was sold a car that Ford knew there was a transmission issue. Well Ricart is a Ford dealer. They should have known. But do you think I was told anything about this transmission issue before or during my purchase time. No and that is a scam to me. That car should have been fixed before they sold it. Or at least explained to me there is s recall on the automatic clutch system. The dealership didn't have any concerns for me as a customer that I was sold a lemon. They were just glad to get that car off the lot. More

He was newer to Ricart and needed a little assistance when answering a few questions. Some I thought should have been common knowledge for his position. Others I'm glad he received advice. He was helpful and pleasant to work with. I do think he could have made a little more effort after the sale. I called a few times without a response and would have to call back. I understand Ricart is known for volume but after you leave the lot, I would think there would be more follow ups with customers. My largest issues have come after the sale. I purchased the Pro-tech protection for my vehicle. DO NOT BUY! The plan was to have the vehicle cleaned 'thoroughly' then the Pro-tech installed. The vehicle wasn't cleaned at all. And for obvious reasons, I don't know if the Pro-tech was even put on. Then when I called about it, they were to redo it with another thorough cleaning. The cleaning was adequate but no detailing. Very disappointed for something that costs a lot of money. My vehicle also had leaking struts and a broken steering column. Both were fixed free of charge, but my vehicle was motor trend certified. So what are they checking when they certify these vehicles? Mandi in the service department has been very helpful and understanding. She has been the only positive about Ricart so far. More

I had been driving the same vehicle for over 12 years, partly because I dread going to a car dealership & dealing with salesmen. Rick Johnson changed the way I look at car buying. He is a no nonsense, straight forward representative & worked with me in a very fair & professional way. He honors his word & explains everything in a clear & concise manner. He actually made the purchase experience enjoyable. Thanks Rick! More

I called early in the morning to verify that the car we were in First ever negative review, but Ricart's deplorable service could not go unmentioned. I called early in the morning to verify that the car we were interested was still available and confirm an absence of smoke damage before driving the 90+ minutes to test drive and purchase. However upon arriving at the dealership, we are frustrated to discover that the check engine light is on and the car was not very clean. They do not mention the light after pulling the car up, but the second my husband turns the car on, we see it. I should mention that this car has been on their lot for several weeks at this point, so plenty of time to at least wipe down the dashboard, if not resolve existing technical issues. We let the sales rep (who was on the test drive with us) know about the light and mention that at least there is the 6 month warranty listed immediately under the price on the website. The sales guy quickly corrects us and says "oh, no, there is no warranty on this car...with so many cars, it is impossible to keep track of what is publicized, etc." We figured that with thousands of employees, they could simply hook up the car to a reader and at least let us know what the problem was. The sales rep goes into the office and comes out telling us that there are no mechanics still around (it is not even 5pm). I find that really hard to believe considering this place has so many employees and vehicles it can support its own on-site Subway. Frustrated, we make the long drive home to NEVER receive a call despite the car being still posted 3 weeks later, still featuring the warranty. To be honest, if the warranty was intact, we very well still may have purchased the car that day knowing that they would resolve the existing problem anyhow, but after our total experience that day and their obvious disinterest in quality control, I could not have a confident transaction with this company. More

She was diligent in meeting my needs without being intrusive. Kristen Miller's sunny disposition, combined with her enthusiasm for her work, was also positive and welcoming. And Chris Wright was professional and informative in his presentation with a friendly, approachable demeanor. I found the extreme lag in manager input response to be an area in need of improvement. The wait time seemed unproductive in time management and reflected negatively on the office management style. Otherwise, I was pleased with the overall experience. More
