Fifth car purchase - Best yet I love/hate buying a new car. The upside is finding and buying the right car.. lots of fun. I'm an internet shopper so typically I know the car I am I love/hate buying a new car. The upside is finding and buying the right car.. lots of fun. I'm an internet shopper so typically I know the car I am looking at in terms of features and have studied numerous reviews. Salesmen in the past give me a canned pitch and highlight basic features that anyone knows about these days. Whatever car we are looking at is the one for me no matter what my real needs/desires are. This week I helped my wife buy a used Toyota Rav4. We did NOT get talked to like we were 16 and buying our first car. We did NOT get insulted with an outrageous first price. We did get an intelligent approach of pluses and minus's for each of the three cars we looked at. Our salesman was straight up with us and answered all of our questions to our satisfaction. We bought the car we wanted at a very fair price and reasonable financing. Ricart is to be congratulated for updating their sales practices technically and their customer handling skills. They have always had the inventory and this has not changed. Most importantly was the manner that Brian Kimball, our sales rep, put all of this pleasant experience together.
