Boo!!! My wife and I went to Ricart on 12/31/17 to buy a 2017 vehicle. We thought we would get a great deal. I did not have my glasses nor did my wife. Our s My wife and I went to Ricart on 12/31/17 to buy a 2017 vehicle. We thought we would get a great deal. I did not have my glasses nor did my wife. Our salesman showed us several 2017 vehicles. We found a vehicle we liked and wanted a deal on it. Ricart did not give us a deal!!!!! The vehicle was priced at $25,799. Kia gave a $1,000 off and we had a trade in and Ricart only gave $2,000 for the trade!! Ricart did not take anything else off. The added over $9,000 extra for stuff we didn't need but the way the sales manager and salesman sounded, you were getting the extra stuff free. They tell you your first and fifth oil change is free but they charge over $500 for the other three oil changes!!!! We were taken!!! Please do not buy a vehicle from Ricart!!! They took advantage of us and the whole processes was fast and the finance guy was bad also. He kept saying sign this and pushed the paper work fast in your face and not having my glasses, it was a blur!!! We contacted the finance person and he said he will contact the finance manager and get back to us in 24 hours. Guess what?? It never happened!!! No call, no nothing!!! Please do not buy from Ricart!!!! I will post this on Facebook also!! More
Developmentally disabled son was totally taken advantage of! My son, who has Aspergers, sent Facebook messages to Ricart Automotive inquiring about leasing a car. When he went to the dealership, he had a friend My son, who has Aspergers, sent Facebook messages to Ricart Automotive inquiring about leasing a car. When he went to the dealership, he had a friend along with him who does not have Aspergers. My son wanted to lease a car for his friend, although he did not know that it's considered illegal and is not allowed. The friend was not co-signing or contributing to the transaction in any way. My son has a car of his own and had driven it to the dealership. When my son left the dealership he had unknowingly purchased a car, not to mention at full price with add-ons such as a warranty and other items that he never would have purchased. His friend said he thought the car was leased as well. The salesman knew he was getting the car for a friend and this is an illegal straw purchase. I have no idea what happened in the meeting with the salesman but my son, who does not understand contracts and financial deals very well, walked out of the dealership not even knowing he had purchased a car. Once his father and I found out about the transaction, his father, my son, his friend and his service provider from the county board of developmental disabilities went to the dealership with the car. They explained the whole story to the sales manager and said they wanted to return the car and void the deal. My son receives social security disability and makes about $400 per month working part time at a minimum wage job. They explained to the sales manager that SSI payments can't be subject to creditor's claims of this nature, and his $400 per month wages aren't enough to cover the approximately $440 monthly car payments. Ricart refused to take the car back and said we needed to contact the lender. Upon contacting the lender, the lender informed us that Ricart had written $1700 as my son's monthly income, and the lender doesn't verify income on loans under $50,000 (which is another issue but I won't go into that here). My son said he absolutely did not tell the salesman that his monthly income was $1700. The lender agreed immediately that what Ricart did was wrong and said they would contact Ricart and that they (the lender) wanted to cancel the loan, as they realized the loan would not be paid off and the first payment could not even be made. Ricart refused to void the transaction and claimed they didn't do anything wrong. After over 2 months of the lender trying to work something out with Ricart, the lender finally agreed to cancel the contract and sell the car at an auction and absorb the loss. This is not right - Ricart was responsible for this unethical and illegal transaction and they are the ones that should absorb the loss, not the lender. I just wanted people to know what an unethical, non-empathetic and downright criminal transaction that Ricart's salespeople were engaged in regarding this transaction that should have never happened in the first place. More
Keep doing what your doing! Recently our son purchased a older model used vehicle from a larger Ford competitor. Over the last 11 years we have bought 2 Kia's, leased a Kia and bought 2 F-150's, so to say the least we have had our experience with Ricart. Unfortunately they did not have a vehicle in his price range and we pulled the trigger at another dealership against my better judgment. I guess you don't really know what you had until you experience something different. Throughout the process of buying his vehicle there was definitely a different feel than what I was used to at Ricart. I really just want to break it down to executing the basics of customer service. What I took for granted at Ricart didn't occur at this dealership. Greeting you with a smile, simple conversation, a handshake, a thank you and a genuine desire to make this experience about my son and not their bottom line. Quite frankly they ruined him and tarnished all car dealers with their actions or lack of actions! His statement pulling out of the drive was "I really didn't know buying a car sucked this bad!" Hind site is 20/20 and I really feel I would be better off to have walked than to have allowed him to pull the trigger on this used truck. Sometimes you live and learn and this was sure one of them. The staff at Ricart Imports, Ricart Fleet all deserve a kudos! What you do and how you act on your worst day is still better that what your competition is doing. I am sure there is room for improvement as there is with any organization, but as far as I am concerned you need to keep doing what your doing and you will continue to win with customers like myself. Hey, if you do get better, its better for me. More

All this plus fresh coffee and a warm cookie! This was an excellent start to my Saturday! Thanks ! More

If you are lucky enough to deal with him, you won't be disappointed. I also talked to Aaron Andrews who helped me after a run in with Harrison. I didn't deal with Harrison, but he wouldn't answer a question for me. He said after I finished my transaction they were done with me. Harrison is an example of a bad experience at a dealership and Drew and Aaron are an example of why I will always do business with Ricart. They helped me with everything I needed. More
