Appointment for oil change scheduled for Friday Dec 6th 9am. When arrived was told it would be a “long wait”, over 2 hours. I received 4 emails and 4 text messages confirming the appointment, one of each 9am. When arrived was told it would be a “long wait”, over 2 hours. I received 4 emails and 4 text messages confirming the appointment, one of each requesting response! Received email and text one hour before the appointment confirming appointment. Service advisor said they were busy, but I saw only one other car was in the 3 lanes of the service garage. I won’t be back. Went to another Ford dealer same day without an appt and got out in 45 minutes. More
I had to get my car towed here after hitting an object in the roadway that caused the rim to explode, literally. The tow company delivered the vehicle to the wrong lot unbeknownst to me or the dealership and the roadway that caused the rim to explode, literally. The tow company delivered the vehicle to the wrong lot unbeknownst to me or the dealership and they refused to locate the vehicle. They told me I would need to come to their large automall and find the vehicle which I was able to locate by simply calling the fleet department and asking if it was sent their on accident. Pure laziness from the service department for ford. After I finally was able to get someone to offer to take the vehicle to the service lot, I got quoted $1300 for a new rim and tire, alignment, mount and balance, and new ball joints. I asked around and was quoted $800 by NTB for the same service. I found the OEM rim for a third of the price Ricart was asking and decided to get it towed to NTB. Ricart then tried to charge me a diagnostic fee and refused to release my vehicle unless I paid it. I had to go in and make a stink about the situation considering I already knew what was wrong with the vehicle. I later found out they didn’t even do anything but “kick the tire” as the service technician stated. They removed the fee and I was able to get the vehicle to NTB. However, when the vehicle arrived at NTB, they told me Ricart had already installed the donut in order to move the vehicle from the lot. Meaning, they already knew the vehicle just needed an alignment and new rim and tire. I would never recommend this dealership as they are clearly dishonest and phishing for “extra” services to charge unsuspecting customers. More
As dishonest as they come. Agreed on a price. Told the salesmen i would call the next day to let them know. I called and was told that they could no longer the deal. I have Agreed on a price. Unprofessional, poor communications, excuses, and more. Car was in service for 29 days bc they wouldn’t initially perform a necessary (and backed by photographs) Ford recall, which then broke while driving Car was in service for 29 days bc they wouldn’t initially perform a necessary (and backed by photographs) Ford recall, which then broke while driving away from the dealership. The service department is populated by nice, friendly people whose competence I find suspect. I made an online appointment to bring in my 7 year old C-Max for a non-working horn and their "Works" package people whose competence I find suspect. I made an online appointment to bring in my 7 year old C-Max for a non-working horn and their "Works" package (oil change, tire rotate and checks). I added a note that I had purchased an extended warranty from Ricart several years ago. Service rep called with an estimate of several hundred dollars to fix horn.I asked about extended warranty and she said it wasn't covered. I replied that if a non=working horn wasn't covered what was covered? She said she'd check and very soon after called back to say it was covered. So if a check was so easy was she being lazy or trying to charge me extra? (The warranty has a $100 deductible) When I went to pick up the car the bill was approximately $12 more than the total of the Works package and the deductible. I asked a service rep why and he couldn't explain why and neither could another rep who he consulted. They adjusted the bill and then the second rep came back to say the difference as because my car required full synthetic oil, not the semi included in the package.Nobody told me about that and this wasn't the first time I'd gotten that package for the car. He said they would not reverse the adjustment they'd made to the bill and then made a comment about not changing the synthetic oil out for semi.Admittedly I wasn't listening closely at that point. Nice people to work with but it shouldn't require that much work. More
I had a great experience thanks to Dezmond. I called him and explained a pretty bad situation I was in.. I came in thinking things would not go my way and to my surprise by the time I came to m I called him and explained a pretty bad situation I was in.. I came in thinking things would not go my way and to my surprise by the time I came to my appointment he was already prepared and he found cars on his lot that he thinks would best suit me , my children , and my situation prior to my appointment . He was well prepared, very understanding, and he went over the top for me. he made sure he found me such a great deal and a very safe car for me and my children. He went above and beyond to make sure I left a happy customer and I left feeling just that! More
We have purchased 2 cars and purchased a third through their used car service. We thought they would be reputable. Sadly, they are not. The 2019 car they “checked and fixed” that was “gently used”, we their used car service. We thought they would be reputable. Sadly, they are not. The 2019 car they “checked and fixed” that was “gently used”, well they did the bare minimum. They knew full well the running boards were out of warranty and on very borrowed time. (Never had them before, had no idea and they never disclosed info on this issue) Instead of doing what they should, as a home town dealer, they did not disclose nor did they replace so they car was in truly, great shape. One week after driving off the lot, the running boards started not working. Brought it back, they said it was fine, just “dusted” them. Brought it back the following week, same thing. Had to take it back in to have MULTIPLE things that should have been done before purchase, on their”fine point inspection” fixed and corrected, as well as the running boards to the tune of several thousand. Then a month and a half later those running boards motors quit and they wanted to charge another 1500. Wow, sad you knew they were bad, out of warranty when you sold it, living on borrowed time but thought you would squeak by and get a couple thousand more after the fact. Just plain dirty and contemptible. Our suggestion, Go anywhere else, don’t purchase from Ricart, new and definitely not used, they are xxxxxxxx. I love capitalism but that is slimy. More
