Over the past several weeks I have had multiple conversations with multiple dealers trying to find the right truck at the right price. Henry Smith was my first interaction with any staff at Riata and he was happy to take me for a drive and answer my questions about the truck. He was knowledgeable about this particular vehicle and took time to explain the process for purchasing and introduced me to all of the parties that would assist me with my deal. Let's face it, buying a car is not a fast process. This transaction was completed in record time including the make ready of my truck. Henry was active throughout the entire process, and I found him to be very attentive to my downtime waiting for processing and paperwork, answering questions and pushing my purchase though. It was a pleasure working with Michael Jackson and RJ, they are easy to work with and very transparent. This was the second time in about two months we needed to purchase a vehicle. Finance, we understand they need to make money through their options but we feel both times the person has been rude and unprofessional. The first time this person asked us if we had money in the bank for the check we wrote. We let it fly though it felt like profiling - does he ask this question of everyone that pays cash? In the second experience, the same person was making a big deal out of a simple request because he did not want me to use my financing! Gave me a hard time with simple requests to get a buyer's order as my lender wanted. He acted very unprofessionally being loud and dismissive of my requests. I did ask to work with someone else to complete the finance paperwork and that went better. We'll buy from Riata again because his insolence does not intimidate us, this is a good dealership. More
