Found a SRT Durango and Dodge Ram on site. We drove up on Saturday 10/24 and just wanted to test drive to see if these vehicles were right for us. Anthony advised he wasn’t a pushy salesman. He wanted to run Saturday 10/24 and just wanted to test drive to see if these vehicles were right for us. Anthony advised he wasn’t a pushy salesman. He wanted to run numbers. We said yes we wanted to see where we would be. He took our keys to appraise the vehicle. This is when they advised what payments would be. We said we were not here to purchase a vehicle just wanting to see if we liked it. He kept going back to manager coming back with prices. We got hungry wanted to leave and they would call us. They said they would buy lunch and just wanted us to stay there. As we were eating manager came back with a crazy payment, we said no. I then threw out a crazy number to get him out of our face. My husband tried to give Anthony $100 for lunch which he wouldn’t accept (we kept persisting). I wanted my keys at that point we had been there for about 4-5 hours. He went back talked to manager, came with a price we said no. Asked for keys again. Anthony finally brought the keys. As we got ready to leave he told us hold on he needed to get our registration. He had taken it out of the vehicle and we were unaware. My husband asked for registration and said he was going to the car. Anthony came back and told me to sit down. I asked for registration he said he had good news and went to get my husband. My husband came back they gave us a price we said no after 2 more attempts with pricing, they hit our price point. We decided to go with it ( we would have 2020 and 2021 vehicles for $130 each more a month, no problem) we signed paperwork and we’re actually happy walking out. We took our paperwork to the bank to check on warranties. Our bank manager advised that they were overcharging us and we should look more into this. We checked out the paperwork and went back. They stated they had left off a rebate and to come back the next day to talk to the GM. We came back and we’re told our loan was not accepted at the price agreed upon. I would be significantly more but they tried to sugar coat it bottom line I said no. We wanted our old vehicles back and they had wasted our time. Anthony was told to get our vehicles he came in the finance office and told us we should feel bad for wasting their time and he had bought lunch for us and they worked hard on our paperwork. He said we were wrong for this. I was infuriated and had to hold myself back. He got our vehicles said to bad it didn’t work out. The finance manager came out and said he had spoke to the manager and was told to mark down the vehicles and they would take the loss and Anthony was wrong for it. He wanted us to reconsider. We said no grabbed our keys and left. Stay away from CDJR Renton!! We found out from an employee at a different dealership that this is a training store and has a high turn around. Everyone is new and not on the same page. They will do anything to sell a car. They will keep doing this as long as people let them. My husband and I are so grateful this deal fell through. More

In 2019 after havi I bought my car from CDJR in Renton 03/12/2018. It had 34,923 miles on the odometer. I purchased an extended 60k mile warranty. In 2019 after having my car broken into, and reported to the police, I called the dealership where I bought my car to ask about replacement paperwork because it had all been stolen from my glove box. I was told they could not find me in their system by either name or VIN number. When I went to have my car serviced for an issue that should have been covered under the extended warranty I purchased at the time of the vehicle purchase I was told that they could not find an extended warranty for my vehicle and therefore my only service option was to pay out of pocket. I chose not to proceed with expensive repairs as I am low-income and could not afford them without the warranty leverage. I was very frustrated but unsure how to proceed. I called again in an attempt to find the lost paperwork but was told if it even could be located it would be in a storage vault and not retrievable. Unaware of any recourse I gave up. The issue with my car continued and became more and more worrisome over time. On Friday 10/23/2020 I called them again. I knew my paperwork couldn't have just disappeared. I was told sgsin that they were unable to find my name in their computer system and that someone from "upstairs" would return my call on Monday. 10/26/2020 I never received a call. Tuesday, 10/27/2020 I went into the location in person. I spoke with Don Wellner. He said I was absolutely not in their computer system by name or VIN and that they had no record of me purchasing a vehicle from that location. He implied that I was confused as there are several dealerships in the area. I insisted that I know where I purchased my vehicle from and pointed out the finance manager's office I was sitting in when I signed all my paperwork. He was finally able to locate my auto-generated contract cancelation for my extended warranty at 94,923 miles from Assurant. He told me this was all he could find and blamed the lack of paperwork on the business having changed ownership from CarPros around the time of my purchase. With no answers and Don unable to help further I left and drove to CarPros. I spoke to multiple managers at CarPros who all assured me that they had sold the business in February of 2018 and that my paperwork was most definitely with CDJR and not CarPros. I returned to CDJR with a CarPros manager. This time asking to speak with a manager. Robert (last name unknown) introduced himself as the CSM. We explained the issue again. After a 20min wait Robert was able to produce a Repair Order Detail for the windshield of my car as it was cracked across the entire windshield. This service order shows my name as the customer, a repair date 2 days after my date of purchase and a mileage difference of 814 miles, but no further information could be found. Robert argued that CarPros was the holder of my paperwork and was insistent that while I may have bought my vehicle from that building I did not in fact buy my vehicle from CDJR. After much arguing back and forth he said that CDJR absolutely did not have my purchase paperwork. To top this he said that as such they were not responsible to honor an extended warranty for any repairs during the time that my warranty was valid. I asked if they were sure that my paperwork was with CarPros then why would they not have informed me of that when I was there seeking help for a service issue as I would have sought CarPros services. He shrugged and said they are not obligated to tell the consumer anything. I was shocked. I asked if they understood the concept of doing something because it's right not just because they are obligated. He did not answer. I said I would never buy a vehicle from them again. He said "I wouldn't buy a vehicle from CarPros either." Robert told us that my paperwork is probably in the Kent CarPros office and/or storage and that I should take my issue to them. The CarPros manager was still sitting next to me. The CarPros manager and I left and went to CarPros Kia where we were told they could access the files and could definitely tell me who owned what. CarPros Kia - Renton insisted that they do not have the paperwork and that CDJR was lying. How do I as a consumer fight with two huge dealerships each telling me that other is at fault? My purchase paperwork still can not be found. The issue with my car that should have been covered continues to get worse. I can't afford a new car, I can't afford a used car large enough to transport my all my kids, my partner and myself. I am a professional driver. My car is my livelihood. I drive with Lyft, DoorDash, Roadie, and HopSkipDrive which is a ride service for children. I thought my 2017 Dodge Journey with its 3rd row seating was a blessing when I bought it. Its turned into a nightmare. I am at a loss. My car, which should have been serviced and covered by the extended warranty if the paperwork could have been located is now a ticking time bomb. Update: After they received notice of my complaint with Attorney General's office they reached out to see if we could resolve the issue. They were finally able to track down the paperwork for my vehicle and offered to check out the mechanical issue if I would bring it to the service department; so I did. They came back with an estimate for repairs for over $5,800 more than half of what I owe left on the vehicle. After some discussion they were able to work with me to lower the cost to $2600. They also offered a loaner vehicle while the repairs were being made. The loaner was pretty thrashed but I was told they are having some troubles with transients breaking into vehicles on the lot. I didn't mind the mess as it was more important to not be stranded without transportation. The work was done very quickly for which I was very appreciative and I have my Journey back minus the ticking noise which they identified to be the camshaft. I am thankful they were willing to 'make things right' once the Attorney General was involved, but its sad that it took that step. More
Update to my review! Well, my $10 check is on the way! That's the only positive thing I can say. I was called today and was given a bunch of lip by "Gerald" about what transpired that day. Why?? If the ve That's the only positive thing I can say. I was called today and was given a bunch of lip by "Gerald" about what transpired that day. Why?? If the vehicle wouldn't have run out of gas, if I hadn't been baited and switched, if I would have been responded to about the $10 I spent on gas....there wouldn't have been any issues. Heck, if I would've known you couldn't sell me the vehicle for the price you said you could sell it for I wouldn't have even GONE TO YOUR DEALERSHIP!!! More
Greg did an amazing job! Got me the car I wanted! And the whole deal was quick, most places to get a car can take more than 3 hours but I was out quicker than that! whole deal was quick, most places to get a car can take more than 3 hours but I was out quicker than that! More
I’d give them ten stars if I could. Ray and Jasbir made the car buying process smooth, fast, and painless. There were no tricks, no delays, no hidden fees, no bait and switch. Just straightforward, honest the car buying process smooth, fast, and painless. There were no tricks, no delays, no hidden fees, no bait and switch. Just straightforward, honest information, and respect. We drove three hours to buy our Pacifica Limited from Renton after having struck out at two local dealerships in Oregon. The locals were typical old school car salesmen. There is a better way to buy and sell cars these days and you’ll find it at Renton. Jasbir was very knowledgeable about our car model and was able to explain all the high tech things like Apple play, and how to manage the apps on the 8” display screen. Our time with George, the finance manager, was easy and fast. Once again, No hidden fees or tricks. We got a follow up call from Ray (the new sales manager) the evening of our purchase just to be sure we made the three hour trip home safely and to see if we had any questions, and a call the next morning from Jasbir, our sales consultant. I would 100% recommend Renton CDJR, Ray, and Jasbir to anyone looking to buy a car. I believe the current management has been in place about a month which explains some of the older, bad reviews. Give them a call, you’ll be happy you did. More

This is the sleaziest dealership I’ve dealt with. Pulled a classic bait-and-switch with paperwork when it came time to sign. Can’t be trusted. Complete dirtbag salesmen. a classic bait-and-switch with paperwork when it came time to sign. Can’t be trusted. Complete dirtbag salesmen. More
