I would like to thank Jim Cronin of Rensselaer Honda for helping us with purchasing our CRV. Jim was friendly, courteous and took time to answer our questions and work with us on getting a decent price for helping us with purchasing our CRV. Jim was friendly, courteous and took time to answer our questions and work with us on getting a decent price for our trade-in. He did not try to pressure us, which is unusual for a salesperson. After the purchase, Jim followed up with a phone call to see how we liked our new vehicle and to let us know that he is available any time if we have any questions. If you are looking for a new Honda and don't want to be pressured into a sale, I definitely would recommend contacting Jim Cronin. More

Anna was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was very responsive to my emails and we emailed back and forth for a few days trying to nail down the vehicle and the framework of the deal. Not wanting to deal with the local dealer in my area, I was able to find Rensselaer based on this website's reviews. To show you how far I would go to stay away from the local Honda dealer, my last Odyssey was purchased from Ohio. Anyways, got in contact with Anna on a Wednesday I believe and the framework was in place by Friday, when I took the day off of work and drove down to Albany. I was looking at a brand new Odyssey and was going to trade in my 2006 Touring model. Anna and the one who evaluated the trade (can't remember his name :) were very upfront and honest with the value of the trade based on a couple of accidents and that very ugly elephant that sat in the back seat of those old Touring models (PAX TIRES!!!! Cue nightmarish scream!!). Anyways, we settled on a trade in value that allowed me to pay off the balance of the loan plus a little extra and when that was combined with the great price of the 2012 Odyssey, I drove away in a little under 2 1/2 hours with my new 2012 Odyssey - the coolest minivan on the planet. Anna was awesome to work with and the overall experience was great! The experience was so good that I am contemplating paying the extra gas to take the van to Albany for service so I can cut my local Honda dealer out of the entire situation! Thanks Anna! I was very happen with everything. I had been to 3 other dealerships that day and went through all the games and bull-crap and none of them were willing to work with me at the numbers I wanted. And when I walked into Rensselaer Honda, I was blown away with the experience. Mark Rizzo was great to work with and I bough my CRV in 20 minutes after walking through the door. I gave mark my trade in & sale price and if they could do the deal with those two numbers we have a deal. And we did with no sales games or going back and forth with numbers. I drive a lot of miles and go through cars every 2 to 3 years, so i will only be back to Rensselaer Honda, to buy next car. They are truly very hassle free and friendly. We walked in with a general idea of what we needed, but wasn't sure whether we could buy, lease, or buy used. We were not planning to be there long, as we brought along our 2 year old daughter. Jeremy came right up to us and was so nice...we were there for nearly 3 hours. He let us test ride 2 models, putting the car seat in and out of both cars. He also listened patiently to our needs and worked with us on what we were willing to pay. He blew up balloons for our daughter and was so friendly with her. Other associates and employees were great also. It is not easy having a young child during these types of things, but everyone chatted with her and seemed to enjoy her presence. My husband and I had visited another local Honda dealership a week earlier without our daughter. We were the only ones there, and made to feel like we were being a nuisance and no one was willing to talk to us. I am glad though because we may not have visiting Rensselaer Honda. I highly recommend! More
This is the 3rd time that I have worked with Brad and every time is a great experience. He goes out of his way to give great customer service as does the rest of the Rensselaer Honda team. We are returning customers to Rensselaer Honda. This is our 4th Honda from them. Two of our previous salesmen are retired. The first time I stopped this time I was just admiring the 2012 CRV. We had purchased a new car about a year ago (Toyota) and wasn't happy with it but wasn't sure if we were in a position to trade it already. Jeremy Thurber came out to see if I needed assistance and answered alot of questions that I had and when I told him I was only beginning to think about making a change, he offered me his card and did not push me to move any further - that is huge in my book - he respected my position. After we returned from vacation about a month later I contacted him again and went to test drive it and then my husband test drove it a couple of days later. Again we told him we were going to talk and weigh our options and would get back to him. A couple of days later I called to meet him to see if we could make a deal. Without this style he has as a saleman, I probably wouldn't have called him back. We really liked his respect for where we were at and gave us the space and time to make our decision. Last but not least Al Yager in the service department has been my go-to guy for the last 8-10 years. He is the reason why we continue to go back to Rensselaer Honda and also go there exclusively for our service. Dan Clement, the Service Manager, has always been very helpful and attentive. But Al is a great person to deal with and a great up front face for the service department at Rensselaer Honda. More
