I traded my 2015 Mitsubishi Mirage ES Hatchback which I also loved (thats why I got another Mirage) but the 2017 had some cool updates I had to have and the Wine Red Color sold me! Our sales person Tommy Mobelry at Renn Kirby Mitsubishi is amazing and has been so hopeful through both purchases. He got everything ready for me before I got there and had us in and out in just over an hour! Tommy replied to many of my text after hours and while off work just to make sure I was happy and taken care of which now a days is hard to find! Thanks Tommy! They gave me a great deal on my 2015 Mirage Trade In and an Awsome deal on my New Mirage G4 SE I could not pass up!!! We also purchased a 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport GT from Tommy at Renn Kirby on 10/31/16 and love it as well and got the same amazing deal on it. Their Finance guy Mr. Mongold is very friendly and super easy to deal with as well and makes the process enjoyable! I have looked long and hard at different Mitsubishi Dealers and their prices are unbeatable! So stop in to Renn Kirby Mitsubishi and ask for Tommy Mobelry and you will not believe the deals! Mitsubishis are great vehicles and the Mirage delivers on reliability, features, price, mpg, roominess, safety and a long warranty. With the dealer discounts and rebates from Mitsubishi its value equation is unbeatable and just check out the owner reviews online all their owners love them!!! More

Don't even deserve one star, or one minute of your time My recent visit to Renn Kirby Mitsubishi was beyond a disappointment, but an insult.. They advertised a vehicle on AutoTrader for 17,995, but when I arrived, the sticker on the window read 19,995. I immediately mentioned to the salesman, Anton, and he said, "Oh, don't worry about it, we give you the internet price." We took the car for a test drive and were excited to make a purchase. This is where things get a bit squirrely. Anton pulls out his piece of paper and begins to write some numbers. The first? 24,695. "24,695," my wife and I asked excitedly. He smiled and explained that is what they originally had the car listed for. We chuckled and laughed, both thinking 'cut the xxxx.' He then says he has to speak to his manager, Nick, to get the appraisal for our trade in. When he returns, his little piece of paper is now filled with many numbers. This is where things go from a bit squirrely to rabid mange enraged flying squirrel coming for your family like the apocalypse is coming squirrely. Hide your wife. Hide your kids. The first number was the sales price they were selling it to us at, 18,995. A quick back story is necessary. We drove three hours to buy this car. We called two days in advance to schedule a test drive and sales appointment and told them we were interested in the car at the price listed on AutoTrader, which again, was 17,995. So now they have raised the price 1,000 dollars and are telling me I am getting a deal because that is still 5,500 under their original asking. The next number was 500. That is all they were willing to offer for a 2004 Ford Explorer XLT V8 4WD Fully Loaded with 104,000 miles. They complained that it was too old to sell and would be a loss at auction for them even at 500. I could scrap the car for more than that and KBB says in poor condition even the car is worth 2,200. They said "We have to recondition your vehicle for sale so that will cost us money." They also said, "The reason the price has to go up by 1,000 is because you have to pay for our dealer reconditioning fees." The vehicle we were attempting to purchase was fresh off a rental fleet and had been sitting on the lot for sale for 6 months. We went to purchase a vehicle with a list of 17,995 and brought with us a trade in vehicle and a 50% down payment. We asked the financed amount be no more than 7,500. This seems appropriate, mathematically, correct? In the end, all numbers written on Anton's paper by the sale's manager, Nick, totaled to a loan amount of 13,200. When confronted with their math (18995 car + 1700 tax tags fees - 9000 down payment - 500 trade in value given - 13200 loan ) totaling over 22,000 for a vehicle listed at 17,995, they became offended and began laughing at us. They proceeded to tell us to leave and go somewhere else because "What you are asking for price wise is ridiculous." Thinking about it, I could not get past the thought that on a slow, dreary Saturday with a lone customer in sight, a customer with a 50% down payment in hand for an 18,000 vehicle you haven't sold in six months, who drove three hours to buy stated vehicle, these idiots failed to make a sale. Not only did they fail, they laughed us out of their sales room, slinging insults. I suppose I shouldn't have titled this "Don't even deserve one star..." I will say that my wife and I are supremely grateful for the time spent together on our little adventure and it will be a day of joyous memories cherished for a long time to come. Thank you Renn Kirby for having given us a random day of laughter we would have never otherwise experienced. More
I made a mistake by trusting Renn Kirby. NEVER AGAIN! Bought a used car here end of April. In May, had to have it towed to mechanic. Cost $2,500.00 to fix major problems. I was able to fix some myself. Bought a used car here end of April. In May, had to have it towed to mechanic. Cost $2,500.00 to fix major problems. I was able to fix some myself. A few weeks later, the a/c died. Took to Renn Kirby. They recharged system at no cost and replaced O ring. Two days later, a river of water started running out from under the dash on the passenger side. Took back to Renn Kirby, they said the drain plug was clogged. Why didn't they notice this the first time? Carpet was soaking wet. They keep me there over an hour "drying" the carpet. Still not completely dry - took about a week. A.C still not correct. Shortly after FIRST towing (yes - had to have car towed again), called to make an appt. to speak to GM and/or sales manager. On morning of appt. received call and was asked if we could reschedule. Second appt. set. Morning of, phone rang, joking to family "it's Renn Kirby". It was. Third appt. set. Yep, phone call came that morning, another excuse. I have not contacted them again, I am considering my next course of action. Some background info: They originally tried to charge us $12,000.00 for a 12 year old car. What a rip off. They told us THEY put new tires and brakes on the car. Found out from the former owner (neighbor a mile down the road), that HE did the tires and brakes. I was able to get the paperwork. Also Renn Kirby gave him less than $2,000.00 trade in value. FYI: I did not know the former owner (J) of this car before I bought it. Another neighbor (R) asked me about the car and put me in contact with J. More

They back pedal a lot. I called the sales manager and his excuse was the sales agent didn't know what he was doing wasn't acceptable. I have the text from the salesman I called and verified verbally, I thought I was going to be in a car today now I won't be buying from them at all. Ignorance of the company policy is NO excuse perhaps management here needs to train their people better and spend time developing them on what's acceptable for a classy sell and developing trust. My question to the manager that he Couldn't answer: "why should I trust you when you won't stand behind what I have in writing regardless of who at your company made the mistake?" It's not my fault the sales staff messed up and was treated like it was mine. This is a dealership you want to watch out for More
Unexpected PLEASANT experience Our sale consultant, John Gray, was a very honest and considerate guy and we had a really positive experience while checking a 2016 Mitsubishi Outland Our sale consultant, John Gray, was a very honest and considerate guy and we had a really positive experience while checking a 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander SE AWD at Renn Kirby. Starting with an email that John replied, he not only guaranteed the quote price by TrueCar.com but also honestly explained the impossible negotiating price on their website. During test drive, he helped us install car seat and patiently answered all our questions. After 10 min waiting, the manager of Renn Kirby actually gave us a very good price (lower than TrueCar.com suggested price). And, importantly, it was an on-the-road price plus rebate, so there were no hidden or extra fees on the paper. Therefore, we quickly made a deal and drove our new Outlander SE home that night. Unlike our previous visits to other auto dealers, John and Renn Kirby did a fantastic job on creating a comfortable car-buying process and these guys do offer on-the-road price in a straightforward way, which I liked a lot. Service department rip-off Renn Kirby service department is not honest. For example, I asked them to check my battery because my car seemed to be taking a longer time to start. Renn Kirby service department is not honest. For example, I asked them to check my battery because my car seemed to be taking a longer time to start. I was told that my battery just needed to have the fluid filled, when in fact it had a sealed battery. I suppose I was expected not to know that. In fact, it was a 2 year battery that was bad and still under warrenty. They tried to tell me that I needed a new air filter, which I had personally replaced myself 2 months earlier. They sold me a cabin filter, which my car did not even have! I asked them to replace ONE battery in my key remote. They replaced both batteries (not in my presence) and charged me $56, plus $8 for 2 new batteries, for "reprogramming" my remotes. When asked why, the reply was that they had to do that when replacing a battery. Funny, a few months before, they replaced a battery (in my presence) and I went on my merry way. No reprogramming needed. A few months after supposedly replacing both batteries and reprogramming the remotes, they tried to charge me another $56 to do the same thing, saying that it was necessary again. At that time, I again asked why they reprogrammed the remotes the previous time and was told that they wouldn't work "for some reason" after replacing the batteries. Replacing a battery in a remote does not change a computerized program between a remote and the car, it simply replaces a dead battery. Besides the fact that the key that had not been used regularly did not need a new battery. It worked fine. Long story short, I was stupid and paid these and other charges for unnecessary things before figuring their scam out completely. The ONLY reason that I returned there after knowing of the battery, air filter and cabin filter scams was because the dealer is the only one who can work on your keys (to the best of my knowledge) It is so hard to find an honest shop to work on your car, but I can assure you that they are out there somewhere. Find them! Sadly, Renn Kirby is not one of them! I personally would expect honesty from a dealer before a shop, especially since it is a given that you will pay a little more at a dealership. More
Great Team - Great Experience! Stopped by to take a look at a car we had been searching for. Bucky greeted us at the door with a smile and was more than willing to help. We looke Stopped by to take a look at a car we had been searching for. Bucky greeted us at the door with a smile and was more than willing to help. We looked at the vehicle but decided before we wasted any more time we’d talk money with Phil (Sales Manager). We talked about what we wanted to pay and Phil was able to make it happen. Bucky then showed us all the great amenities on our soon-to-be vehicle and we took it for a spin! We’ve been shopping for a year and so far this was the only salesman that seemed to care if we purchased a vehicle or not. He actually made us feel like one of the family, understood our needs and genuinely cared if we got what we wanted - unlike the 6 or 7 other major chains in the area! Thanks guys we had a great time working with you!!! More

DO NOT GO THERE!!! On June 21, I initially went in to look at a vehicle priced at $7,500, which was sold, so they suggested another vehicle "for around the same price". On June 21, I initially went in to look at a vehicle priced at $7,500, which was sold, so they suggested another vehicle "for around the same price". The vehicle itself, without any of the fees added in, ended up costing $8,640. On June 24, two days after purchasing the vehicle, the check engine light came on so I went to the company's website to get the phone number for service, and saw my car advertised for $6,000. I called my salesman, James Kuykendal and left a message. When he returned my call I told him about the engine problems, and he told me "the service dept. hasn't been busy lately, just bring it up", which I did. The service department refused to look at the car and told me to come back the next day, Needless to say, I was not happy and requested to be given a time for service. When I brought my car in on 6/25 they scanned and reset the computer so the service engine light no longer came on, and said it was a catalytic converter code and repositioned the power steering hose. I contacted the Assistant Service Manager, Jeff Walker, the next day (6-26) and he stated that they would need it for the whole day. I asked 3 people at the dealership about a loaner vehicle and never received an answer and was completely ignored by all 3, not even a simple NO. They just spoke around the question and went on about something completely different. I made arrangements so they could have the vehicle the whole day on Wednesday, 7-2. I never received a call or email, so I finally called at 4 to find out what was going on. I was told they couldn't fix the catalytic converter and they had to "wait to find a part". It is a Mitsubishi Outlander and they are a Mitsubishi dealer. My local Pep Boys and Advance Auto have 3 each. They also never fixed the rattle from the power steering hose when they had it in the shop for the whole day. I then emailed the owner sean kirby and he passed me on to robert philips. All mr philips was able to do was threaten and bully me, as well as ignoring my questions of when I will get my car fixed under warranty and my mva paperwork and plates. They used EVERY shady sales practice in the book on me, so DON'T let it happen to you!! More
