This has nothing to do with the sales team because TJ was great and has been trying to help my situation. I bought a 2017 Outlander Sport limited edition 3 weeks ago and it had 4 miles on it so it is brand new. It has this wonderful feature called apple car play. Well guess what it DOESNT work. I called last Friday the schedule an appointment to get my radio system looked at and spoke to Robert and made an appointment for Monday. Guess what Robert never put me into the schedule. So I show up Monday, I show Shaun the problem and he was very helpful and willing to help out and he witnessed the problem. They looked at my car even though Robert didn’t do his job. The service tech looked at it plugged his phone in and it didn’t glitch. They said they would have someone call me Tuesday because the called head quarters. Well they didn’t do that either. I finally got ahold of someone Thursday for them to turn around and say “it’s your phone” this was also from Robert. Well obviously you don’t know how to do your job because my husband has an iPhone and it does the exact same glitch. If Robert is the service manager and is a piss poor employee lacks customer service and knowledge and has no willingness to make the problem correct. I went back to TJ and told him everything he said he has reached out to the GM Mike and guess what! The general manager doesn’t even have customer service skills to address the situation or to even contact me to try to make the situation right. Needless to say I have a three week old car, I haven’t even made the first car payment and it’s broken and the horrible people at Renn Kirby do not want to fix the situation at any level. It amazes me they are even in business. Not to mention the fact that I am a service admin myself and if I dropped the ball and lacked customer service I would be fired immediately. More

This has been an extremely frustrating experience for me as well as taxing my overall well-being. I travel for work often and the issues I have encountered recently at Renn Kirby have impeded on my ability to do so. One month ago, I brought my car in for an oil change and to have my brakes looked at because I heard them making a noise while driving. The diagnosis was that the brakes were fine. Three days later I had the same issue of brake squeal while driving. The issue was again looked at by your service department and I again was told the brakes were fine. The issue persisted and when I had time to address this matter again, I brought the car back once again to Renn Kirby. The technician sprayed some brake dust from my brakes and I was told that should fix the issue. It did not fix the issue and the next day I brought the car in for the fourth time regarding the same issue. Later that day I was informed I needed a complete rear brake job costing several hundreds of dollars and this would take three days time. This was extremely frustrating and time consuming for me as I had to bring the car in four different times to have this even properly diagnosed. I never encountered anything like that before and was very perplexed at the whole matter. But I moved on and told myself I would continue to conduct business with Renn Kirby in the future because of my previous satisfaction with them. Two weeks after the rear brake job, as I was driving, my ABS and ASC indicators became illuminated. I again brought the car into Renn Kirby and was told that the wheel sensor was knocked loose when the rear brake job was performed and the technician fixed it and I was good to go. As I drove away from Renn Kirby, once again my ABS and ASC indicators became illuminated five miles down the road. I brought in my car once again this past Monday to have whatever is causing my ABS and ASC indicators illuminated fixed and left my car overnight with Renn Kirby. Four days later on Thursday I was told the problem is fixed. Apparently the pickup rings on my drum brakes (which were just replaced) were scratched and needed replaced. I was told these worn down rings should have been noticed during the previous brake job and my bill would be $388.85. I happily paid it and went on my way, only to have my ABS and ASC indicators become illuminated once again, just a few miles down the road as I drove away. More

The s I purchased a new 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander. Michael Hadid and his team made the transaction pain free and treated me with respect and courtesy. The selection of Outlanders was second to none and had every color I could think of. Michael went out of his way to make sure I had customized black wheels that are one of a kind. I would highly recommend Renn Kirby Mitsubishi. Family owned and a great community leader in Frederick, MD. More
Terrible!!!! After searching and searching for a specific vehicle with the EXACT exterior and interior colors I was looking for I thought I finally found the one. After searching and searching for a specific vehicle with the EXACT exterior and interior colors I was looking for I thought I finally found the one. I reached out via the internet and received a call first thing this morning. I was thinking to myself what great service. I asked if the vehicle was still available and the gentleman said yes. I asked for an out the door price. I was told that his manager was in a meeting and he would call me back. I received a call back later in the morning stating "due to extending our end of the month sale my manager will not give any pricing over the phone." Little did they know I was not trying to beat them up on price, I wanted to know a dollar amount to get a check from my credit union. What a freaking joke!!!!! More

We already had the money, so we didn't even need to go through the approval process. Our sales guy told us that another salesman was waiting for someone to come in as well to see the vehicle. We take it out for a test drive and come back to notice that the other people are there with the other sales guy. We start filling out the paperwork when over comes Dave (sales manager) and tells us that they have to give priority to the other customer because the test drove it YESTERDAY. I told him regardless we were here first TODAY. He didn't care. He gave them first priority. I feel this is completely unprofessional of a dealership especially when our sales guy told us we would have first priority prior to test driving it. He didn't care and threatened to only give us $500 for our trade in (which is worth $8k). I WILL NEVER EVER GIVE MY BUSINESS TO A DEALER THIS SHADY. I also intend to contact the GM as well as anyone above him that I need to. I have never been treated this way and wouldn't want anyone to go through this either. More

Don't even deserve one star, or one minute of your time My recent visit to Renn Kirby Mitsubishi was beyond a disappointment, but an insult.. They advertised a vehicle on AutoTrader for 17,995, but when I arrived, the sticker on the window read 19,995. I immediately mentioned to the salesman, Anton, and he said, "Oh, don't worry about it, we give you the internet price." We took the car for a test drive and were excited to make a purchase. This is where things get a bit squirrely. Anton pulls out his piece of paper and begins to write some numbers. The first? 24,695. "24,695," my wife and I asked excitedly. He smiled and explained that is what they originally had the car listed for. We chuckled and laughed, both thinking 'cut the xxxx.' He then says he has to speak to his manager, Nick, to get the appraisal for our trade in. When he returns, his little piece of paper is now filled with many numbers. This is where things go from a bit squirrely to rabid mange enraged flying squirrel coming for your family like the apocalypse is coming squirrely. Hide your wife. Hide your kids. The first number was the sales price they were selling it to us at, 18,995. A quick back story is necessary. We drove three hours to buy this car. We called two days in advance to schedule a test drive and sales appointment and told them we were interested in the car at the price listed on AutoTrader, which again, was 17,995. So now they have raised the price 1,000 dollars and are telling me I am getting a deal because that is still 5,500 under their original asking. The next number was 500. That is all they were willing to offer for a 2004 Ford Explorer XLT V8 4WD Fully Loaded with 104,000 miles. They complained that it was too old to sell and would be a loss at auction for them even at 500. I could scrap the car for more than that and KBB says in poor condition even the car is worth 2,200. They said "We have to recondition your vehicle for sale so that will cost us money." They also said, "The reason the price has to go up by 1,000 is because you have to pay for our dealer reconditioning fees." The vehicle we were attempting to purchase was fresh off a rental fleet and had been sitting on the lot for sale for 6 months. We went to purchase a vehicle with a list of 17,995 and brought with us a trade in vehicle and a 50% down payment. We asked the financed amount be no more than 7,500. This seems appropriate, mathematically, correct? In the end, all numbers written on Anton's paper by the sale's manager, Nick, totaled to a loan amount of 13,200. When confronted with their math (18995 car + 1700 tax tags fees - 9000 down payment - 500 trade in value given - 13200 loan ) totaling over 22,000 for a vehicle listed at 17,995, they became offended and began laughing at us. They proceeded to tell us to leave and go somewhere else because "What you are asking for price wise is ridiculous." Thinking about it, I could not get past the thought that on a slow, dreary Saturday with a lone customer in sight, a customer with a 50% down payment in hand for an 18,000 vehicle you haven't sold in six months, who drove three hours to buy stated vehicle, these idiots failed to make a sale. Not only did they fail, they laughed us out of their sales room, slinging insults. I suppose I shouldn't have titled this "Don't even deserve one star..." I will say that my wife and I are supremely grateful for the time spent together on our little adventure and it will be a day of joyous memories cherished for a long time to come. Thank you Renn Kirby for having given us a random day of laughter we would have never otherwise experienced. More
