One of the survivors of that exercise was the Elantra from Hyundai and the best pricing favored that SE model available from Reliable Hyundai. This was a home-coming since they have been the vehicle source for me since 2001 when I left Mercedes (500 SEL), and got the Tiburon I drove for the next 11 years with zero trouble. OK, one bad wheel bearing...that's like total zero from my earlier experiences with alleged "super cars" with actual super prices and not so super quality. Next from Reliable was a 2013 Sonata GLS and a quick pass of the Tiburon to my daughter and husband. It is still doing a perfect job for them and the Sonata had done even better than expected for me until the second car of my daughter and hubby had a very bad experience inside a deep storm drain on street in Springfield, that had become slick in a sudden blinding rain (That's his story). It happens. In keeping with tradition, the Sonata is now doing well for them as the Elantra is impressing me with how well it fills the needs and wants I have from a vehicle, plus much more. More
