Don’t deal with this place. They told me the price of a vehicle was 36k and I after I sat down to get the deal done. They raised the price by 8k and told me that they priced the wrong vehicle. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy I had the worst experience of my car buying life it started out with an on line add for a conversion van we called and made an appointment to see the van f the worst experience of my car buying life it started out with an on line add for a conversion van we called and made an appointment to see the van first thing Saturday morning so we drove 7 hours the day before so we could be the for the appointment we showed up and asked the first person in a dealership uniform if the could direct us to salesman Luis Torres we were asked to take a seat someone would be there shortly 30 minutes later I asked another salesman that informed me that Luis would not be in until noon and walked away I called him back and asked can someone else shoe me the vans he said I'll get someone a few more minutes passed I was ready to leave when someone came and he said I'm the explorer representative what can I help you with so I told him my story he showed us one van 2015 GMC SEVANA it looked like it was just been traded in dirty worn and not in very good shape so I asked for the 2020 GMC SEVANA that I came to see we looked all over the lot to no avail it was not there he went to his computer and came back to tell us it was taken to the shop for cosmetic repairs it would be available to show next week needless to say I was not happy so we went home. the next week we kept getting calls and e-mails if we were still interested in the van we decided to give them another chance so we drove the 7 hours again to go see the 2020 GMC SEVANA something happened Luis was not there so an explorer representative started to shows us the van different one than the one before he went over the features like if he was missing happy our every time we found something wrong he just kept reminding us it is a used van there was scratches on the doors and on the mirrors one tire was very low so they said they would take care of it right away while we went over the numbers we decided to take it after all so we started driving home in Houston we stopped to gas up and get something to eat I do not know what happened at the shop but the tire that was flat was missing a lug nut since all the other wheels had locks I looked in the jack area and with some luck someone left the lock nuts they replaced there so I was able to install a lock nut on the wheel and keep going home we took a small trip to see how the van would perform with the family very disappointing I might add every bump we hit a light cover would fall off on the inside lights the right head light came loose could not go over 65 miles per hour with out shimming my filling off so on my return I went to discount tire to have the tires balanced and rotated. the worse new was yet to come the tires were unsafe they were rated for 92000lbs and the vehicle GVW is 10000lbs with out passengers I spent $70,000.00 at this dealership for this Vehicle I e-mail the service manager about the lug nut never heard form him again I e-mailed Luis Torres about all the problems I had same no answer form anyone at this dealership PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE More
I will NEVER recommend this place nor will I purchase another vehicle from Reliable Chevrolet in Richardson. My husband and I bought a 2016 Chevy Malibu on May 7th and had nothing but trouble. Our story another vehicle from Reliable Chevrolet in Richardson. My husband and I bought a 2016 Chevy Malibu on May 7th and had nothing but trouble. Our story is a lot longer than this but here is a shorter version. Four days after purchase our Malibu was in their service department three times (sat there for weeks at a time) within the first 24 days, for the same electrical problems. The last time we brought the car into the service department it was there for 7 weeks! They still do not know what is wrong with the car or how to fix it. I reached out to Derrek who is the General Sales Manager to inform him of our situation, after the third time we had to bring the car in. Derrek informed us our only option was to either trade the vehicle in (he will make sure to take care of us) or wait until the Malibu is fixed, which they have no idea when that would be. So in total, they had this vehicle for 54 days (give or take) and it was not drivable for a week before we could bring it back in to be serviced the last time. Meaning, we had the car for a total of 8 days but when I told him I want them to take the car back and pay off my loan, I was told they cannot do this. The reason they gave me was that it has been well past 30 days since purchase. Gary in the service department lacks communication and rarely updated us unless we reached out first. They had no idea what was wrong with the car and would always place the blame on waiting for GM to get back with them regarding what each error code meant and how to fix it. Our sales associate both times was Luis Torres who was ok as a sales consultant. Nothing great as far as customer service goes but nothing bad either. When we walked the lot the second time to find an appropriate vehicle for trade, Luis seemed as of we were a bother and someone he was forced to deal with. Mike (I am not sure of his title) is the associate we spoke with regarding papers and getting everything signed. He had an arrogant attitude and became defensive when I pointed out that I was upset that I paid two months on a vehicle that is non-drivable because of their mistake. Along with being told they will not give me my $200 back because this is what I paid in interest to the bank. Mind you, I wouldn't have been out of this money if they sold me a working vehicle. His response to this was, "I am sorry, did we wreck this vehicle or something?" Are you serious? Did anyone communicate with one another as to why we were there trading in a vehicle we just purchased! I had to repeat myself many times and explain my story to everyone we spoke with. They lack general knowledge as far as how to give customer service as all they kept telling us was things they couldn't do or how they are losing money on this deal. I strongly suggest that you never purchase a used vehicle with them. I am sure they have great sales associates for new cars or even used, but the associates and managers that I dealt with, need some serious training. I am a practical person and gave them nothing but my time and common courtesy to remedy their own mistakes but I was NEVER given the same in return. Upon arrival, neither Luis Mike, or Derrek made any attempts to apologize in person or acknowledge why we were back to browse the lot for the second time. Terrible dealership for used cars and customer service. Do not buy any used car from them, without taking it to an independent mechanic you trust for a full inspection and analysis. Don't know how dealerships like this can stay in business! More

Here is my story: Late January of 2020 I leased a new Chevrolet Equinox from Reliable. At the time of the lease, I was told that the first needed oil change would be free, and no conditions were stated or written. Following that, the Covid-19 pandemic hit ... and, as seniors, we hunkered down all year and drove virtually nowhere, and after a year, there were only about 1300 miles on the car. With so few miles, I never even considered the need for an oil change ... however, I then saw notices that I needed an oil change. But no way would I risk going to a service department without being vaccinated. Then, as soon as I got vaccinated, last week I went to the Reliable Chevrolet Service Department (where, by the way, not everyone was wearing a mask) to get my free oil change ... and they refused to honor that commitment, stating that it had expired. What? You mean to tell me that for the low cost of an oil change you're standing rigid on a synthetic date to protect your bottom line over the importance of a satisfied customer? There's a pandemic out there ... and things are different than usual ... and this should have been a time for Reliable Chevrolet to bend just a little. I don't know for sure, but I don't think Huffines Chevrolet or Eldorado Chevrolet would have treated me this way. So, Reliable Chevrolet, you have not only angered a customer ... you have probably lost a customer. And this lost customer will continue to tell this story. More
I have never worked with a group of more mismanaged and lazy MEN! It took close to a MONTH to receive my key fob. They sent me home with a valet key which set off my car alarm every single time I opened th lazy MEN! It took close to a MONTH to receive my key fob. For the longest, they blamed us for not having the fob, said they never received one, etc. It took demands to the highest level of management for a month to get one made simply because they had lost it. They delayed ordering the key, ordered the wrong key, and were just downright idiotic. On top of this, the salesman who we worked with had a tendency to look at my wife and I as pieces of meat- we were incredibly uncomfortable, were forced to make a report, and he was fired. I would warn my worst enemy away from this place. Find somewhere else, y'all. DO NOT GET A CAR FROM HERE. More
Absolutely horrible !!! Never take their word over the phone! EVER!!!!! MAKE SURE TO GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING!!! I was lied to by multiple people. I drove 5hrs just for them to tell me they wasn't able t phone! EVER!!!!! MAKE SURE TO GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING!!! I was lied to by multiple people. I drove 5hrs just for them to tell me they wasn't able to get the numbers they promised me over the phone. NEVER do business with Mark in the pre owned department!! I made an appointment to meet with him on Saturday and sign papers for the vehicle. HE WASNT EVEN THERE! And we both know why he wasn't. He knew I was going to be more than upset when they told me they couldn't get the numbers he promised me approved. I asked for them to contact Mark and see why he lied to me. They informed me that no one in the facility had Marks Cell phone number!! BULLS**T!!! Just another lie from everyone! I was even told they record all the conversations made from the dealership. and I was told I could get the recordings if I requested. And of course I wanted them to prove that Mark lied to me. Once another Manager came out (I cant remember his name) he informed me that those recordings are for training purposes only, and I couldn't request them.I just hope they use this as an example of what not to do with a customer)!! He also informed me the numbers Mark quoted was not even possible and when asked, he "wasn't sure why Mark lied to me" HIS WORDS OUT OF HIS MOUTH!! After setting there for 4 hours I was finally able to talk to Derrek Hooser. He was the only reason I even went through with the purchase! He was very helpful and polite, the way people should act towards others. I wish his associates was a fraction as helpful as Derrek was. Once I made it back to the finance person (Mike Nash), he was just as friendly and helpful as Derrek. More
