My husband purchased a new 2018 GMC Sierra from Regal GMC back in 2018 and was very happy with the sales experience. Fast forward to October 1, 2021. My husband dropped his truck off at a closer dealershi back in 2018 and was very happy with the sales experience. Fast forward to October 1, 2021. My husband dropped his truck off at a closer dealership to check out a possible transmission issue. On Saturday,October 2, this other dealership confirms that there is indeed something wrong with the transmission. No worries, we thought, we bought an extended warranty with Regal. So on Monday, we follow up only to be told the claim is denied because Regal filled out the wrong paperwork for the warranty. They filled out paperwork for a used car with a manufacturer’s warranty, not a new car warranty. We contact Regal, and spoke to Rick(a salesman), who confirmed that yes the wrong paperwork was filled out, but we’d need to talk to Pedro the next day, no earlier than 12pm, to get it corrected. Pedro called at 1pm on Tuesday, very apologetic and said he would get it corrected. On Wednesday, Pedro contacts us to get the exact miles on the truck, and when my husband follows up to confirm he doesn’t need anything else, Pedro doesn’t even realize who he is speaking with and confuses us with someone else. WE DONT HEAR ANYTHING ELSE UNTIL SATURDAY, October 8th, AND WE HAD TO BE THE ONES TO REACH OUT. My husband advises Pedro the warranty company is still waiting for the corrected documents before they will even come out and look at the truck (so just to keep this straight, we have now gone over a week without making any kind of progress) Pedro advises us it takes a little time for the paperwork to be processed, but does confirm the warranty is active. He provided my husband with a contract#. Again, we don’t hear anything until today(October 11) when my husband calls the warranty company, ONLY TO FIND OUT THAT PEDRO BOUGHT A NEW WARRANTY THAT IS EXPIRED AND DOES NOT COVER THE TRUCK! (You can’t make this up!) My husband immediately calls Regal and explains the newest dilemma. We tried to reach the Finance Manager, Chris, and he is not available. So they take our number and we our told we will get a call back. It is now 8:08pm and we aren’t holding our breath that a phone call will be made tonight. Now, all of this wouldn’t be a super big deal if Regal had agreed to give us a loaner vehicle or pay for a rental until either the warranty paperwork was fixed or heavens-to-betsy, the truck is repaired. This whole mess, since October 4th has been because of their multiple mistakes. But no, they told us since they aren’t the ones making the repairs they can’t offer a loaner or pay for a rental. So needless to say we will not be recommending Regal to anyone and offer you fair warning if you are considering buying from them More

I always take my car to Regal for service. It never fails that I take it in for one thing and have to take it back because something wasn’t fixed properly. In this case I had a water leak on the pass fails that I take it in for one thing and have to take it back because something wasn’t fixed properly. In this case I had a water leak on the passenger side of the car and they determined the drain hose for the sunroof had disconnected. I left it with the dealership for ONE WEEK to ensure it was fixed properly. They fixed it but when I tried to open the sun roof slide part something was blocking it from opening. It turned out the little accordion things on the side were not snapped back in place by a clip properly. I had to take the car up and drop it off a second time to get this corrected. This is not the first time I have had to return for a repair to be corrected by a minor detail that was overlooked and I’m really irritated that these type things happen repeatedly. I was also not happy to see how dirty the sun room window was when it did open and the grime left on the inside liner of the car directly near the sunroof interior. I just paid $150. To have my car detailed prior to the leak and now I need to go in and clean the mess that was left. We have been dealing with your service department for 10 years and I have to say I am not happy with the service here compared to the service we received in Deland, FL from the Kaiser dealer there. I NEVER had to return after having a vehicle serviced there. My only hope at this point is that the leak is fixed since on the last leak that was on the drivers side I had to take it back 4 times to get it corrected. Of course I won’t know until I experience a downpour which has not occurred since I got it out of the shop. More
