I will never buy another car, especially a Nissan, from Reed Nissan. Buyer beware! After the the purchase I discovered that this car, along with other Nissans have a design flaw with the transmission. In June of 2020, I purchased a 2012 Nissan Sentra from Reed Nissan for my son who had just graduated from H.S. The first problem (within a week) was that the car was leaking transmission fluid. When I called Reed Nissan, they completely blew me off. I told my son to take it to a transmission shop and they found that the transmission was over filled! When I purchased the car, they assured me that the car had been inspected by their "trained" technicians. The next issue was that my son drove the car to Daytona from Orlando and before he got there, the car lost power. I went online and discovered that a lot of people have this issue (transmission) with the Sentra. Two weeks ago, the starter went out. A few days ago, the motor was vibrating so I had to change the spark plugs and the coil for cylinder #4. A few minutes ago, my son called to tell me the car has an issue accelerating. The car has 145K miles and I understand that parts on cars go bad but this is ridiculous. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE A CAR FROM REED NISSAN AGAIN!!!! I WOULD'VE BEEN BETTER OFF PURCHASING FROM A BUY HERE PAY HERE DEALER. You would think that a large dealership such as REED NISSAN would stand behind what they sell but, in my opinion, that is not the case. Based on how they blew me off with my initial call, I would recommend staying away from Reed Nissan. More
Reed Nissan in Longwood sales person was rude, did not want to serve us, and then he attempted to grossly underrate our trade in. Our KBBB value was 9000 dollars, they tried to offer us 6000 dollars, whic want to serve us, and then he attempted to grossly underrate our trade in. Our KBBB value was 9000 dollars, they tried to offer us 6000 dollars, which caused us to walk out, drive down the street and purchase a new Subaru with no dealer fees, low interest, PLUS the proper trade in price on the FIRST try. BUYER BEWARE! The owner of Reed Nissan should be ashamed and outraged at the fraudulent and unscrupulous morals of their sales and finance personnel! This dealership sold an elderly couple a Nissan Armada, and outraged at the fraudulent and unscrupulous morals of their sales and finance personnel! This dealership sold an elderly couple a Nissan Armada, which is a 9 passenger vehicle and refused to allow a test drive. As if this wasn't bad enough, the dealership didn't apply the value of their traded in vehicle into the sales agreement, so basically stole their trade-in. Reed Nissan also attached every warranty available to this sale, and financed the couple with an online bank at 8% interest when their credit scores were well above 750. Of course there was no paperwork was exchanged, this couple age 80 and 76 were given a "flashdrive" with their sales agreement. The couple tried to return the vehicle the very next day and everyone in the dealership completely ignored them. What a shame and complete FRAUD. Elder abuse at it's finest! Do not patron this dealership. I hope karma pays Reed Nissan and the individuals involved in this sale a swift and harsh visit. More
I will never purchase a vehicle from Reed Nissan ever again. My husband and I purchased 2 vehicles from them. My 2015 Nissan Rogue was roach infested, they took care of Issue. I have only had the car 60 days and now it's not drivable due to all the tires being bad. They gave me run around and now they are saying for a discounted price of 350.00 I can purchase new tires. I needed to buy my daughter a used car ( bought my car here and my son bought his car here) needed a car $5000 so I could pay it off in a year ( I am buying 3 new work vans for my business end of year so here and my son bought his car here) needed a car $5000 so I could pay it off in a year ( I am buying 3 new work vans for my business end of year so I needed it payed off early) my son was not happy and told me NOT to go here but I didn’t listen. After I left I sent one of my employees over to buy a car BIG mistake. They said they had a car I knew it would probably need some work as it was used. Took it to my mechanic It needs a whole new engine REALLY!! They had me sign the papers on a desk so I really couldn’t read them but I had done business with Elton before and trusted him ( when the sale manger stepped in I should have left the building immediately!!) They gave me my documents on a Zip drive that didn’t work so I kept trying for almost 30 days to get paper work ( went down and sat there for a while tried to have them mailed etc) call after call no result. Finally got my papers I expected a little higher total ie tax , tags,registration etc the total price for my car with NO GOOD engine will be over $8900 REALLY!!! I called and told them she said I will get a call back I told her I am running a business please have someone who can resolve my issue call me back as I do not have time for 100 phone calls to get this resolved of course Elton called me back and although he is nice he can’t do anything to help me REALLY now I am paying with my time !!! Sales manager called and left a message as I was working I had to call him back I called back he was going to have to get back with me NO CALL BACK ! I will NOT be back and will inform every customer and friend who needs a car DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH ANY REED COMPANY ! More
Trying for weeks to get refund on unused extended warranty on a truck I sold. Online Chats, calls and messages left for the finance department & contacting them through their website got no response warranty on a truck I sold. Took a chance and mailed three documents directly to the finance guy that sold us the warranty when we bought the truck in 2017, and requested a refund two weeks ago. Still no response. Won’t be buying another vehicle from them again! More
This is the 2nd time I have purchased a car from Dwayne Loy. Due to covid19 I wasn't able to go there, but Dwayne listened to what I wanted and picked out the perfect car for me again. He brought it to my house where I could sign the papers and he showed me everything I needed to know about the car. It's perfect!!! I wouldn't work with anyone else but him. He's kind, courteous and is extremely knowledgeable about what he does. He's not a high pressure salesman and has been working at the same dealership for 25 years which is amazing to me. They never committed to accepting it. I arrived and spent the next two hours wasting my time. They low balled the trade, how do I know? i have estimates from other dealers and I showed them to the salesman, treated me like it was my first time buying a car. I'm 58 and have bought numerous cars. The salesman kept excusing himself to go into the "managers office" Never once did he ask where I wanted to be price wise! He showed my a used Pathfinder with payments well over $600.00. We could have cut to the chase and honestly figured this out prior to me wasting my time. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME More
