I generally do not go to dealership service departments I generally do not go to dealership service departments and tend to avoid them like the plague. But, we needed some work on our Dodge truck and wer I generally do not go to dealership service departments and tend to avoid them like the plague. But, we needed some work on our Dodge truck and were told only Dodge could the ABS/Brake codes on our older model truck. I reluctantly took it to OP Dodge but, in the end I admit I was very pleased with my experience. The service manager was helpful and seemed competent - luckily they solved my issue quickly so I came out of the place spending less than $100. I like their parts department the most tho. The lady who works there is sharp and on the ball. She's always been very helpful any time I've called or stopped in to get things other parts places didn't have in stock. More
I had to have the PCM replaced and had to go to a Chrysler dealership to do this because the module had to be programmed by Chrysler. The repair itself seems to be OK, but 2 trouble lights were trig Chrysler dealership to do this because the module had to be programmed by Chrysler. The repair itself seems to be OK, but 2 trouble lights were triggered during the repair process. and the dealership wanted to tell me that they were on prior to the repair, and they were not. I didn't discover the lights until I left the dealership and returned home. I did receive a call the following day from a Liz, probably a customer service rep of some sort, asking if my visit was satisfactory and I told her no and related the trouble light problem as well as I had purchased a battery and I received nothing in the way of warranty paperwork. She told me she would report this to the service mgr. and I would be contacted. I was not, I had to contact John Boyd and ask them what might be done and he told me to bring the car in and they would see what could be done. I returned and they did manage to turn off the check engine light but made no attempt to reset the airbag light. Boyd's response was that the light was on prior to my repair and in his opinion the light had been on for quite some time. He felt the the van was old and had a high mileage and I probably hadn't worried about having it checked into. More
I had called in a month in advanced to have the Jeep that I bought from them serviced - for the routine check and this squeaking sound that my car makes everytime I press on the brakes. The day came and I I bought from them serviced - for the routine check and this squeaking sound that my car makes everytime I press on the brakes. The day came and I again told the employee that about the purpose of my visit. I got the car and less than a minute of driving heard the squeak again. I returned back and told him about it. He told me that I just needed to hit on the breaks more agressively. So I told him that one of the reasons why I brought in the car was because of this. He then told me that they have cleaned the dust on the breaks and that it was fine. How could it be fine when there is still the squeaking noise? I then told him for them to take a second look. He told me that I had to set up another appointment. I had to take that day off from work just to have my car serviced. I had to call back to cancel my appointment as I am extremely busy. I still have my car serviced there because I do not have a choice. I wanted it to be serviced by Jeep. On another instance, when I bought the car, they told me that they will call me after a few weeks to get my registration. They never called me back. When I came - after waiting for almost a month, they told me that they called up my cellphone and left a message -> I have my phonebill to prove it. This never calling back when promised happened in another instance. I had my car serviced and they told me that they will call me once its done. I went to the starbucks beside the dealership. Waited and waited until I just decided to call them up. They told me they called up but again, never did. On both occasions, I verified that my number was correct. The only reason why I vivit this place was because of the Jeep brand. On another note, on my most recent visit (Nov 16, 2011), I can sense a change. The person that welcomed me ( I think he's name was Zachary) was extremely nice and professional, the cashier was polite too. They did not have to call me back to tell me that my car was fixed as the guy just personally told it to me. Hope this one's not a fluke. More
I have bought (3) Jeeps from Overland Park Jeep since 1998. This is the only dealer in the KC metro that truly earns its 5-Star rating. As usual the dealer called the day before to remind me of my ap 1998. This is the only dealer in the KC metro that truly earns its 5-Star rating. As usual the dealer called the day before to remind me of my appointment. I drove my vehicle in the next morning and was greeted promptly by Todd Harrison. My vehicle was immediately taken to a service bay where I had 4 new tires, shocks and an alignment done. This was all completed while I waited in 3 hours time. The service department is always very prompt, friendly and bends over backwards to ensure that you are happy. More
I took my van in for service for a malfunctioning part, which was repaired and covered under my extended warrantee. When I got the bill, the only cost listed was the 100 dollar deductible. The other char which was repaired and covered under my extended warrantee. When I got the bill, the only cost listed was the 100 dollar deductible. The other charge(s) only said "N/C". I would like to have these charges listed, like the cost for the part they installed and the labor cost. This way, I would know just how much my warrantee was "saving" me, if any at all in this case. Other than this, the customer service was great, and I received reliable, fast courtesy rides to and from the dealership. More

Becaus MINIMAL. I am always treated with great respect and friendliness by all employees and made aware of any concerns for future vehicle needs. Because of circumstances, I visited another dealer for oil change the last time. With this one exception, I have always returned to Overland Park Jeep Dodge for all service and work and I plan to continue this practice. I am very satisfied with the Dealership and commend them on the quality and character of their employees. They are the best !!! More
