I brought my 2007 Chrysler Town & Country in for service on the air conditioner, the drivers power window and both sliding side doors. The air wasn't cooling much. I had run a test on it myself an service on the air conditioner, the drivers power window and both sliding side doors. The air wasn't cooling much. I had run a test on it myself and it had 125 lbs. of pressure on the low side where it should have had a vacuum so the compressor would need replacing. The drivers window had a growl in it when going down and the sliding side doors wouldn't release from the power track when opened with the outside handles. This causes a very heavy drag by the electric motors having to be turned by hand. There was a big led lit sign stating lube, oil and filter change $17.95. When I gave the details of car problems I pointed at the sign and said I'll also take that oil change. I was told it would probably be done today and was the phone number one I could be reached on. I stated it was. They ask if I wanted a ride anywhere and I stated that my warranty allowed for a rental car. He said "Oh; O.K. I'll give you a voucher." MY warranty is a $100.00 deductible and when I went to the cashier and was given a bill for $149.34. I inquired why it was so high when I had a bumper to bumper 100 dollar deductible policy. I was told it was because of the oil change. They charged 34.95 for the $17.95 oil change. When I said it was listed on the sign at 17.95 I was told that it was a scrolling sign and if I had waited for a bit it would have then told me that was only if I bought 3 oil changes at one time. The scrolling sign, if it does, is deceptive and false advertising. Then they charged 102.50 instead of the 100.00 deductible and then charged sales tax on the deductible. WHAT! Sales tax on the deductible? Who thought of this little piece of thievery? When I was sold the warranty by Chrysler the most I would be out of pocket was 100 dollars. Not 100 dollars plus sales tax. The 100 dollars is a payment not a purchase. It should not have sales tax. If these thieves can get away with this the next time you go to the doctor they'll say you owe your 25 dollar deductible plus sales tax. Avoid this dealer. I'll never buy Chrysler again. More
When first choosing to use the Overland Park Jeep Dealership, I was perfectly satisfied at the fact that my AAA insurance carrier was cooperative and very supportive with sending my car there for the Dealership, I was perfectly satisfied at the fact that my AAA insurance carrier was cooperative and very supportive with sending my car there for the repairs from my car accident. After having a ridiculous amount of delays and attempting to contact numerous people, it was almost a month of my car being at the dealer before being even started on. As patient as I've tried to be, Overland Park Jeep claimed that they weren't at fault for anything whatsoever, especially the delays within this process. After carefully examining the emails, phone calls and even having someone check in on my vehicle just to be sure that the repairs were actually happening there was fault on them for how long the process was taking. I stand behind the fact that I know the repairs weren't exactly easy but if I knew that I was going to be dealing with people who seemed to be talking down to me, I would have taken it to the Gladstone Jeep dealer that I bought it from. I have no doubt that there wouldn't have been this many issues because of the efficient work they had already done for me in the past. After picking up my "repaired" Jeep 2 days ago, I was thoroughly surprised when my Jeep would not start last night when leaving my softball games. Luckily, I had a friend who walked out with me that took a look under the hood for me. Come to find out, Jeep didn't put my battery back properly. On my way home, thankfully a friend was following me because my car completely shut off at the top of a hill on Johnson Drive and Renner leaving me sitting there without the use of even my hazards. Which in and of itself is a HUGE problem. After being able to find a socket wrench to tighten the battery as much as we could at midnight... I was able to get home with my check engine light on the entire time. After letting it sit overnight and praying that it would start this morning, I was able to get the car running and make it to work with the check engine light still on. My largest frustration comes from the fact that I feel as though I was dealing with a used car dealer with the way that I was being talked to the entire time with not knowing when things would be done to the blame being put on other parties and him in a sense, telling me what I wanted to hear. But throughout this entire process and me getting ready to have my rental car allowance policy used up, they did absolutely nothing to reassure me that they would help with any of my inconvenience. It was always someone else's fault. I have another appointment this afternoon to get the problematic things looked at on the car because they need to fix what they didn't entirely finish the first time... but in the future, I will not be returning to this dealer even though it's the most convenient one for me to go to. I will be taking my business elsewhere. More
I'be only recently purchased a jeep on the east coast & I moved to overland park 1 year ago. Not knowing where to bring my jeep when it was in need of servicing (for a specific problem), I decided upon & I moved to overland park 1 year ago. Not knowing where to bring my jeep when it was in need of servicing (for a specific problem), I decided upon the local jeep dealership....... huge mistake. After speaking with a service rep at the dealership, and explaining exactly what the problem was with my vehicle, The dealership made me wait 7 days for an appointment. After the `7 day waiting period, I dropped my jeep off at 8 am on a saturday. it took me more than 20 minutes to check my vehicle in, After waiting 20 minutes, I was told that I needed to retrieve my jeep (which was no more than 30feet groom the garage door), and bring it to the garage door. This confused me. I asked the rep to please call me when the problem was determined, and let me know what the cost would be. The dealerships Saturday hours were posted and said they closed at 4pm on Saturday. At 3pm, I still had no call from the dealership. I called them. 25 minutes and 3 times on hold, where each tim I was taken off hold I gave my name and vehicle and why I was calling. After the 3rd time I spoke with someone, I was disconnected. I called again. This time I only spoke to 2 people over the course of about 12 minutes. Finally, I was told that they had no time to look at my vehicle that day. Really????? When I asked if they at least fixed my tail-light (that was out) I was told yes. After picking up the vehicle, I realized the tail light worked, but now the blinker on the same side was not working. Really???? Also, one of the 2 screws that hold the back tail light price onto the vehicle was missing. Great job! The next day I needed to make a trip to Lawrence, Kansas. My jeep broke down during that trip and I needed to have it towed home. I will NEVER USE THIS DEALERSHIP AGAIN FOR ANY REASON. NEVER. I was treated poorly, my vehicle was never even looked at over an 8 hour period, and customer service reps were rude. More
The reason I brought my jeep in was to get an oil change, general inspection, and to get the sky slider wind deflector installed on my 08 Jeep Liberty. First of all I made an appointment at 8:00 am. I figure general inspection, and to get the sky slider wind deflector installed on my 08 Jeep Liberty. First of all I made an appointment at 8:00 am. I figured that by making an appointment my car would start getting worked on at 8. He asked if I was staying or dropping it off. I told him I would just drop it off, however I needed it done early afternoon. He said it would be no later then 2. I called around 1:30 to see where it was at and he let me know that they did not have the right wind deflector, but they would get it and have everything done around 3:30. He let me know that I needed to change my spark plugs every 30,000 miles so I added that in as well. I show up around 3:30 and my car is still not finished. It is finally done at 3:50. Then he lets's me know that they were not able to install the wind deflector because they did not have it in and that it would take an extra week just to get it in. So basically it took 9 hours to get my oil changed and to change my spark plugs when I made an appointment for 8 am. I then looked at my receipt and it shows that the Spark Plugs cost $24.00. I know that labor is not cheap, but $180.00 to change spark plugs seems to be a bit ridiculous. I don't understand why A. the right part was not ordered, B. Why they did not know that they did not have the right part until 1:30, and why it took 9 hours to complete an oil change when I made an appointment. Obviously they wait to do the cars that are dropped off until later. So, next time I might as well say I am staying and then leave anyways. I am completely frustrated now that I have to wait another week to receive the wind deflector. More
Mr Colin M. Laughlin made my revisit to the body shop great. I have done a lot of auto body work business with this dealership. Mr Laughlin looked at the problem , and not only examined the vehicle, great. I have done a lot of auto body work business with this dealership. Mr Laughlin looked at the problem , and not only examined the vehicle, but had a solution immediately. That's what the customer wants..........answers! If the fault is the body shop or the customer, the final outcome was satisfactory. I don't have a expensive vehicle, but I have been driving chrysler/dodge vehicles since the mid 90's. (The Breeze, The PT Cruiser,Caliber). The manufactor is always suppose to back up it's product. Always. More
Last visit I had new brakes installed on my 2005 Grand Cherokee which was almost exactly 4,000 miles ago. When I got the car back the emergency brake didn't work. I called the dealership and they said t Cherokee which was almost exactly 4,000 miles ago. When I got the car back the emergency brake didn't work. I called the dealership and they said to bring it back. I told them I was too busy because I had to bring the car back again, leave it, find ways to work and back to dealer. Took it back today for a 4,000 oil change and for them to fix the parking brake. Phone call from dealer and it is going to cost $236.00 to fix. I reminded him that he promised to fix it. He said the "emergency brake drum" was broke. It worked great before I took it to this dealer. So, two questions, what did they do to it to screw it up the first time and second why did this "in their words obvious bad brake drum not seen the first time when they put brakes on it. This is not the first time that this dealer has repaired something and have it break again and they would not warrant it. More

They delivered exactly what they promised when they promised it. Definitely met my expectations. The only reason I rate them 5 is because there is no higher rating! promised it. Definitely met my expectations. The only reason I rate them 5 is because there is no higher rating! More
