on April 19, 2024, I brought my 2021 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubi to solve a front brake sticking problem. Frank was extremely attentive and willing to do whatever it took to make me happy. Since we were very close to being at end of my warranty, it took multiple rounds of discussion with Frank and his management however, in the end they did what was right for me . I was extremely happy with the result and again, very grateful for all that Frank and Reed Jeep did for me. Thank you for doing what you do. I would recommend Frank to anyone... WAY TO GO!! Purchased Grand Cherokee Summit in 2018 new. My wife has always driven the vehicle. Has never touched a country road. Water pump goes out on our way home from a trip. By the time we got home the vehicle has 36,100 miles on it. They were not going to warranty it but eventually did. Now at 63,000 miles the vehicle has an oil leak. I could tell that it was not coming from the engine but could not identify exactly where. Took it into Reed and the diagnosis was a blown motor mount (apparently a common issue). Brandon Wright determines it would need 2 motor mounts and a oil pan - Estimate was $3589. I refused to have them fix it. Paid the $165 to have the tech shine a flashlight at that part of the motor. We took our vehicle to Olathe Transmission and $1,003 later, problem solved. We'll be looking for a new vehicle within a year. We won't make this mistake again. More
Dropped off my vehicle in November 22' and just like others have said, nobody answers the phones or calls on updates. Lies to FCA Rep about what is happening to the vehicle when they got involved. This dealership does not stand behind their vehicles or the work they perform on vehicles. I bought 4 vehicles from them at the same time. One had issues from the time I drove it off the lot. I took it in the work they perform on vehicles. I bought 4 vehicles from them at the same time. One had issues from the time I drove it off the lot. I took it in multiple times to get fixed, they kept trying to fix the issue and it was never resolved. The GM Jeff said he was no longer going to work on the issue that was there from the time it was drove off the lot. Instead of trying to fix it he wanted me to trade in the vehicle so that he didn't have to work on anymore because it was costing him too much money to fix. I tried to talk through it and was shut down. I had to go to McCarthy Hyundai to get the work done with factory parts instead of after market parts for the issue to be resolved. I tried contact Jeff to have him reimburse me after the issue was resolved and he didn't want to do anything about it because I didn't come to him first to give him the opportunity to have his guys fix it at a fraction of the cost, which is exactly what I did with trying to get them to fix it in the first place before having to take it somewhere else. DO NOT take your car to this vehicle for service. More
Worst car service I have ever experienced. Waited 5 hours and all they did was install a brake switch (The advisor that helped me actually said, “I forgot you were here.” and they charged me $225 and they d and all they did was install a brake switch (The advisor that helped me actually said, “I forgot you were here.” and they charged me $225 and they didn’t fix what I came in for (malfunctioning ABS system). Took my Jeep back the next week (taking away from my work) and the supervisor told me I should probably take an Uber home, which isn’t close. They never offered a loaner or rental car. After I got home, he calls me up and wants to know if I want to come pick the Jeep up (even though they didn’t fix it) and bring it back when it starts malfunctioning again. I was in disbelief at this point. My ABS system was malfunctioning and I told him I needed it fixed now. He seemed annoyed that I wanted my Jeep fixed. Never experienced more incompetent, unprofessional and rude service from anyone. They never apologized. When I picked up my Jeep, the gas was on empty, even though I had half a tank when I brought it in. As a business owner myself, I couldn’t believe how they treated customers. More
By far the worst experience I've ever had with a dealership. They kept my car for a week. Didn't address everything I requested, changed the price 3 times, interfered with a recall that had already dealership. They kept my car for a week. I picked my car up yesterday and I'm now stranded. My car locked up and won't start. Several dash lights came on regarding my brakes and tires my car will not turn over. I have had this car for 4 years and have had zero issues. The guy who brought my car in for pickup had a jump box. When asked if he had to use it on my car, he flat out lied and said "no," but not even an hour later I was stranded. I called the dealership today and talked to Greg. He claims my battery failed a load test, but they failed to tell me that! When I spoke with Nathan, all he said was we recommend you change your battery and Wiper blades. He never said it failed a test and wouldn't start and definitely never said they had to use a jump box to start my car. In 4 years of owning this vehicle that has never happened. I had so many issues with this dealership. I'm planning to file a complaint as soon as I get to my computer. I have no idea what these people did to my car, but they definitely caused all these issues. Update: Greg the Service Manager got upset that I wrote a review and is refusing to address any issues with my vehicle. He told me to take my vehicle somewhere else. Not sure why he thinks I'm going to pay another shop to fix their mistakes. I know employers are having staffing shortages right now, but the fact that they have someone like this representing their company is shameful and embarrassing. Find another dealer, this place isn't it. More
Reed would not honor their email oil change advertisement. I received an email on May 27th with a service coupon for an oil change. On the coupon it advertised a semi-synthetic oil change for $34.95 along wit I received an email on May 27th with a service coupon for an oil change. I called to see if an appointment would be necessary and the service department said just come in. When I arrived, I was told that Reed does not have semi-synthetic oil, only full synthetic, and the oil change would be $54.95. I was informed by the service technician that Reed Jeep would not honor the printed price of $34.95. I did not get the oil changed and will likely not use Reed again based on this disappointment. I WAS CHARGED 100 DOLLARS FOR FACTORY APPROVED WARRANTY WORK. I MADE EFFORTS TO TAKE CORRECTIVE STEPS WHICH WERE NOT SUPPORTED AT ANY LEVEL, MR. REED HAS REFUSED MY CALLS AND HAS NOT RETURNED REQUESTS FOR CALL BACKS. THE PARTS THAT THEY CLAIMED TO REPLACE WERE NOT CHANGED, UPON ASKING IF THEY WOULD SEND PARTS FOR ME TO PUT ON THEY CHOOSE TO ARGUE WITH ME ABOUT THEM HAVING BEEN PUT ON. After the repair, the vehicle was being moved to another location and the driver ran into something that damaged a rear quarter panel and bumper. The dealership repaired the two items by pulling out the "dents", filled in the remaining damage with filler to get "near the OEM dimensional and contour", and repainted. When asked why completely new components were not used, we were told that this is how it is always done and replacing with new parts would be too difficult and time consuming. When asked about communicating the accident and the repair when we sell the vehicle (which the accident will cause us to get less money for the vehicle now), we were told that we don't have to disclose it, that they will not be reporting it so it will not be on any Carfax or other database. When asked about how this happened and what will be done to prevent this from happening to anyone again, the response was that accidents always happen, we can't guarantee it won't happen again, and "that's why we have a collision repair shop" - we would have expected to here that a cause was determined and that something was put in place to attempt to prevent this from happening again. We have lost a lot of confidence in this Jeep service center. More
