I have bought (3) Jeeps from Overland Park Jeep since 1998. This is the only dealer in the KC metro that truly earns its 5-Star rating. My vehicle was immediately taken to a service bay where I had 4 new tires, shocks and an alignment done. This was all completed while I waited in 3 hours time. The service department is always very prompt, friendly and bends over backwards to ensure that you are happy. More

My initial contact with John was in response to an on-line inquiry I made about available Town & Country vans. I was initially very vague and non-committal in my explanation of what I was looking for but John didn’t seem to mind. He was consistent but not overbearing in his e-mail contacts and encouraged us to come out to take a look at our convenience. The first time we arrived at the dealership, it was about a half hour from closing. John remained after hours to let us look at different vans on the lot and insisted that he didn’t mind staying late. A couple nights later we came back to test drive a van and also have my car inspected for trade-in. John thoroughly explained all the features of the vehicle. He was very patient throughout and even told us about another model that would be coming on the lot in a few days when we inquired about other available van colors besides silver. A few days later my wife, Laura, and I came back and bought the black Town & Country John had held for us. We are very happy with the vehicle and appreciative of the process. John was never pushy and listened to what we wanted. He was also accommodating when we decided in the middle of purchasing the silver van to wait for the black one. John brings a lot of value to the salesman/customer relationship and makes Laura and I want to come back for our next vehicle purchase and to recommend the dealership to others. More

Terry provided a detailed review of all the features of the Jeep and how everything works in the Wrangler. Terry has also followed up on several occasions after the sale to ensure everything was going well and to ensure I was completely happy with my new Jeep. This is the second time I purchased a Jeep from Terry and hope he will still be working at OPJDC when I purchase my third. More
I took my van in for service for a malfunctioning part, which was repaired and covered under my extended warrantee. When I got the bill, the only cost listed was the 100 dollar deductible. The other char which was repaired and covered under my extended warrantee. When I got the bill, the only cost listed was the 100 dollar deductible. The other charge(s) only said "N/C". I would like to have these charges listed, like the cost for the part they installed and the labor cost. This way, I would know just how much my warrantee was "saving" me, if any at all in this case. Other than this, the customer service was great, and I received reliable, fast courtesy rides to and from the dealership. More
Visited Dealer for oil change. TIME WAITING WAS VERY MINIMAL. I am always treated with great respect and friendliness by all employees and made aware of any concerns for future vehicle needs. They were able to gain acceptance from Chrysler to replace the units at no cost to me. Their hard work with Chrysler paid off for me in the end. I just wanted to let you know that I am extremely pleased with my recent purchase of a 2006 Dodge Dakota from you Good Afternoon OPJDC!!!! I just wanted to let you know that I am extremely pleased with my recent purchase of a 2006 Dodge Dakota from your dealership. My sales person (Joe Trahan) has gone above and beyond to help me get into the vehicle I really wanted. In late June of this year I was in a desperate predicament with a new Patriot I had purchased from Olathe Dodge. The experience I had at that dealership was, in my opinion, borderline criminal. Hoping I could sell or trade it, I rolled the Patriot onto your lot and was greeted by Joe. I explained that I just wanted to get out of the Patriot mistake and find something more suitable to me. Within few days, I had shopped other dealers and found some Dakotas I liked. When I called Joe to ask if you had any Dakotas on your lot, he told me one had just arrived. Within a few days, I was driving the Dakota and smiling every mile away! Joe Trahan was, and is, truly a dedicated professional. Thanks to him and his laid-back manner, my opinion of used car salesmen has completely reversed! I would most definitely buy another vehicle from this man. There was absolutely no pressure, and he was always right there with answers to my questions. I've had a couple of minor issues after the sale and a quick call to Joe had my concerns resolved immediately. Unbelievable! I want to also say that Joe's co-worker was extremely helpful as well when I bought the truck. Gary Hayes is another genuine person that I would certainly ask to speak to if I were looking for another vehicle. Of course, I would not have the truck at all if it weren't for the understanding and fair negotiations from the used car sales manager as well. He examined my Patriot, gave a fair price for it as well as the Dakota, and the deal was virtually effortless! Even the finance office was very cordial and helpful. How nice to have such a pleasant experience when other dealerships seem to insist on making car buying a miserable endeavor. Finally, I want to say thanks to John and everyone in the service department. I woke up this morning to a dead battery in the truck (it's 5 years old...it happens). I've only owned the truck for 2 months so I called Joe Trahan to inquire about the warranty, etc. As always, Joe was more than pleasant to deal with and he said if I could get the truck to you, they would be sure to get me going before I had to start a new job next week (this is a holiday weekend also!). AAA got the truck started, I entered your service department at 10.00 a.m., and was out the door with a new battery before 11:30! Everyone from the sales staff, finance office, service department, and cashier have been nothing but exceptional to deal with! The courteous treatment I've experienced from each of you is truly amazing! I want to thank you all and just say you are doing a fantastic job. Would I recommend OPJDC to others? Absolutely!
