I don't like shopping for new cars because of the normal high pressure salesperson approach. Travis is a different breed. WOW, what an experience we had. From the test drive, throught the vehicle specifications to the future bond he said that they want to have, convinced us this was the dealer we wanted to purchase from. We did visit 2 other local area Chrysler dealers and we immediately came back to Overland Park Jeep/Chrysler. I want to elaborate on our financial experience with Vince Williams, Financial Specialist. We had an approved rate with a blank check ready to purchase, Vince took one look and said from the get go I can do better.... And better he did. He was so passionate on getting us the best deal, he said he wanted another day to keep working on the best rate. We agreed and he did beyond our expectations. So, here's the bottom line. If your in the market for a Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge vehicle go to Overland Park Jeep/Chrysler first, ask for Travis and you won't go anywhere else, and if you compare, I guarantee you will go back... I recently purchased my 4th new vehicle from OP Jeep. I have purchased all of them from Terry Mykins. Terry is very knowledgeable of the features of the vehicles he is representing and explains things vey have purchased all of them from Terry Mykins. He has been very good to work with and has a strong follow-up after sales. The dealership itself has been a good place to work with. Dealership was very "up front" with their pricing (clearly showed specific discounts from MSRP as a "starting point" for negotiations) - didn't just start with the MSRP. They were very easy to deal with - no excess haggling - and had fair pricing. In fact their pricing was lower than that shown as a target price on cars.com, edmunds.com, and consumer reports. Mr Colin M. Laughlin made my revisit to the body shop great. I have done a lot of auto body work business with this dealership. Mr Laughlin looked at the problem , and not only examined the vehicle, great. I have done a lot of auto body work business with this dealership. Mr Laughlin looked at the problem , and not only examined the vehicle, but had a solution immediately. That's what the customer wants..........answers! If the fault is the body shop or the customer, the final outcome was satisfactory. I don't have a expensive vehicle, but I have been driving chrysler/dodge vehicles since the mid 90's. (The Breeze, The PT Cruiser,Caliber). The manufactor is always suppose to back up it's product. Always. More
Last visit I had new brakes installed on my 2005 Grand Cherokee which was almost exactly 4,000 miles ago. When I got the car back the emergency brake didn't work. I called the dealership and they said t Cherokee which was almost exactly 4,000 miles ago. When I got the car back the emergency brake didn't work. I called the dealership and they said to bring it back. I told them I was too busy because I had to bring the car back again, leave it, find ways to work and back to dealer. Took it back today for a 4,000 oil change and for them to fix the parking brake. Phone call from dealer and it is going to cost $236.00 to fix. I reminded him that he promised to fix it. He said the "emergency brake drum" was broke. It worked great before I took it to this dealer. So, two questions, what did they do to it to screw it up the first time and second why did this "in their words obvious bad brake drum not seen the first time when they put brakes on it. This is not the first time that this dealer has repaired something and have it break again and they would not warrant it. More
