Salesman was nice. But the problem started with the mortgage. The person (african american man, I don't know his name and I do not wanna know his name) did horrible job. Things I hated: 1. He did not warn me that I have to go all the way back to NJ to register my car until after I signed the whole contract. (I'm co-signer, I can. He just doesn't know at all. And he keeps saying "This is all I can do so ask the bank or the title person" how irresponsible.) 2. He made the wrong title (and he all blamed on the title making person) 3. I even confirm if I just go DMV when I got the title because it said Kansas. and the front desk person asked him and he said "yes" 4. I went to DMV and DMV person said I have to correct the sales tax so I call him and he said I have to go back to sign something because the title is wrong. 5. I went back and he said I have to go back to NJ and register the car and gave me a piece of paper says that the title has been corrected. 6. I ask for help because that is impossible and also, my temporary plate expires tomorrow, he says "nothing I can do. ask the bank. I already corrected the title" (the day before the plate expires.) I have researched and I CAN REGISTER MY CAR IN KANSAS and what he told me was all wrong. I even asked him "have you ever deal with these kind of contracts?" and he said "no" but he was so sure about not able to register the car directly in Kansas. Working should not be blaming other people. Access of the help is another skill he should have. When costumer does not know, he should have asked other people and etc. to let the costumer know what they can do. Instead of telling the costumer to ask other people because he does not deal with this kind of problme. Also, blaming other people to work is very un-professional. I do not understand how he just blame on other people. I do not know what it was but he was not nice at all after I denied to get warrenty. He asked me 10 times even after I specifically told him "I do not want the warrenty" It was very obvious that what he get paid for is from the warrenty the costumers get. I did not want the warrenty because it almost double my payment. I hope I worked with other person who had better aknowledge. More
I spent several months online researching new and used Jeeps. I decided that the 2013 Jeeps were a better deal because they have more horsepower and better gas mileage. In addition, the 2014 inventory is coming in to stock so there are great prices on the 2013s. I made my decision to buy on SAT, 7 SEP 13 and I drove away in my Jeep the same day! OP Jeep was recommended by customer reviews, a friend of mine, and my bank. I used my bank auto buying services to compete prices, and OP Jeeps online service was by far the most user friendly. I worked with Terry Mykins and he made this easy. We worked by email only until I showed up. I drove my 2013 Jeep Wrangler off the lot 2 hours later (test drive included). Thank You to Terry, Scott, and Joe for making this easy! More
Terry Mykins did an excellent job as salesman. Even though I took a month to complete my decision and looked at many dealers and vehicles, I settled on a truck Terry showed me. He left occasional follow up messages but wasn't annoying. When I arrived to negotiate the sale, he was helpful and direct. He has followed up after the sale, too. Overall super job. The bad experience was with the business manager, Joe. He arranged financing which was great. However, he would only show monthly payments tied to extended warranty programs. I had to force him to show me the true monthly payment. His programs ranged from an extra $25 to $100/ month. He justified extended warranties on the amount of electronic systems in the truck, how some would fail, in turn causing others to fail and their costly service rates. So, I should buy an extended warranty because of the unreliable electronics, poor design and high price of their service? He's now raised doubts of whether I've made a wise choice in buying a Ram 1500. I didn't do any of the extended warranty programs. They detailed the truck and it looks really good. I've only driven about 200 miles but it runs great and I'm getting good mileage, as good as advertised, even with the AC on. I'm pleased with the truck and my relationship with Terry. I recommend Terry to anyone looking to buy a truck. More
