Best dealership I have ever worked with. Everyone took the time to understand my needs and recommended a great car (2011 Sonata). We shopped other makes and 2 other Hyundai dealerships and Shawnee Mis of our questions and went out of his way to meet all of our needs and wishes. It is my understanding that this is a survey regarding the entire process of purchase from start to finish, so please allow me to provide qualitative feedback about my experience. In the process of searching for a new vehicle, I had done extensive research with the help of friends and family. I felt prepared upon going into the dealership. The morning of my purchase, a friend and I had been instant messaging Scott Thouvenell regarding available options at the dealership. He was very helpful and willing to address any questions I had. I eventually decided to go up to Shawnee Mission Hyundai and amazingly enough, Scott drove up with some others in a vehicle and jumped out of the car to help. I couldn't believe that although I hadn't necessarily told him I was coming, he was the one available to help in the lot! He recognized it was us immediately and extended his help in finding exactly what I was looking for. His friendliness was outstanding. He was exactly what I was looking for in a car sales person. He was all about giving me the information I needed in order to make the most informed decision possible without putting a choke hold on me. He recognized when I needed time to be alone to ponder my thoughts, but was also conscientious enough to let me know where to find him should I have questions or concerns. He had the utmost professionalism and great customer service. His approach was one that I will continue to share with those closest to me. I have already had the opportunity to tell several people about the outstanding manner in which he does business... accolades to Scott Thouvenell! Although Scott and several others I came in contact with were incredible, I did feel slightly rushed during the financing portion. Some would feel as though this was a quick and seamless process, but many who don't buy a car or make large purchases every day such as myself, would probably feel less than satisfied with this portion of the overall experience. I acknowledge that it took me more time than the average person to make a final decision - I spent a good portion of the day wading through my options despite the fact that I felt prepared upon going in to visit. I simply think that it could have been handled a bit more thoughtfully and thoroughly. The price of my car was very good. It doesn't give me the option, but I would probably have rated it a 4.5 if I had the opportunity! In relation to other dealerships, it was exactly where I needed it to be to consider it as a possibility and eventually pull the trigger! I would also have rated customer service 4.5 overall. I came in contact with many individuals and felt comfortable being there. It was a clean facility and it was nice to feel welcome and respected. Mike Ball summed up my whole experience perfectly... Some people come in and point to the car they want and it's as easy as that and for some people it takes more time. I appreciated his understanding and his genuine concern that I felt the best I could about making the decision that was appropriate for me. You don't find that every day! A BIG thanks to the Shawnee Mission Hyundai employees - I LOVE my new car!!!!!!! More

I was very impressed with the service that I was provided. I didn't feel pushed into purchasing a car that I didn't want. Everyone was very friendly and took great care of me. My husband and I went into the dealership to test drive a Santa Fe. We had been seriously considering purchasing a Kia Sorento but had learned of the Santa Fe and wanted to compare vehicles. While visiting with Scott & Yvette they were both extremely helpful and informative in regards to giving us information on the Santa Fe and Sonata - after we became interested in it. Yvette took us out for test drives of both vehicles. We must say we have purchased many many cars over our lives and this car purchase, without question, was the most pleasurable we have even experienced! There was never any high pressure gamesmanship that took place. We were treated with respect and courtesy during the entire selection and purchase process. Including the closing of the purchase with the credit person. We look forward to visting the dealership to have our new Sonata serviced and keeping in touch with both Yvette and Scott. Scott has done a great job. He was new on the job when we connected and he worked very hard to find answers and work with our situation. The only area that was a little disappointing was the final meetin we connected and he worked very hard to find answers and work with our situation. The only area that was a little disappointing was the final meeting with the sales manager to write the check. We waited well over an hour for a transaction that took under 5 minutes. I am having some issues with my phone sinc with the bluetooth, but Scott continues to help and try and facilitate a solution for us. Thanks Scott - great customer service! More
