As a rule, it is not our practice to respond to a poor review outside of acknowledging our shortcomings and apologizing. Due to the nature of this post, and out of respect to the teammates involved, I have chosen to briefly respond. I have personally visited with this guest. I also investigated thoroughly with the Service Advisor, the Service Manager, and the three technicians who were asked to look at this vehicle. The code the guest mentions was related to one of the issues, that is correct, however, it did not address the likely root cause that contributed to causing the regen. The primary technician also visited with the guest and attempted to explain why the regen had to be performed multiple times, and could possibly need to be addressed again in the future. Lastly, I looked at the vehicle history report (CARFAX), and according to the vehicle history report, this particular truck was previously a commercial vehicle. It was retired from the commercial fleet at the end of 2020 with approximately 159,000 miles on the odometer. I can only assume it was then purchased by our guest in December of 2020. These vehicles are generally liquidated through an auction and have no warranty. The vehicle was brought into our service department approximately 6 months later in June for the concerns addressed.
