The worst service department I have ever been to. Carried my 2006 f250 to have the ac fixed and it sat there for six weeks at least and went by to check on it and it was not ready. Went back to get it when they called me and went out to get it and the AC still didn't work. The truck was hit on the right rear fender from the back door to the bumper the finder had been hit before and I got a estimate for fixing it and the general manager said he would not pay to fix the complete damage that was done when at the dealership. The ac lasted about 2 weeks and quit working again and I carried it back to them and they charged it again and said to bring it back and they would find the leak again.they called me and said it was ready again and I I asked them to service it and change the oil. The oil change wasn't done until I got there to pickup the truck so I had to wait for that to be done. The service lady told me that the truck was ready to go and I went out to get it and the new batteries were really low and almost didn't start it. The service lady came out and said the general manager wanted to see me so I shut the engine off and went back in to talk to the manager he won't pay for the complete estimate and just part of it and patch part of it I said no and left his office and went back to my truck to leave. It would not crank because the batteries were too low and had to go back to the service department and they sent two mechanics out and jumped it off. It hadn't been moved since the service was done and I got in the truck and started to leave the dealership and go to work. The truck engine fan kept coming on and I thought it was because of the AC working I drove it for about 15 miles to get a trailer to haul hay and I got a flash light to check the instrument panel and the heat gauge was pegged out on the Hot mark. I called the Red River service department and they sent out two mechanics to check it out and they checked it out and called a wrecker to come get it. I wasn't having a problem with the engine before getting hot. The service lady called and said the water pump was leaking and would be 850$ to replace. The service was not done correctly and the engine obviously wasn't checked for low water 💦 and that caused the engine to get hot. I went to check on the truck because I hadn't heard from them and they said that the Head gasket was bad because the engine got hot So I don't have a truck now and they don't want to fix the truck and they caused the problem from not checking the water level during the service work and damaged the engine. I'm 75 years old and need my truck. I took the truck to get the AC working and have already spent,3000$ at the dealership and now I don't have a truck. I have never been done so wrong by a shop in all my experience. Now they tell me the bill to fix my truck will be 5000$ at the minimum because they didn't put water in the radiator and didn't check it when it was serviced and they said they weren't going to charge me for the service. I will never recommend Red River Ford to anyone. Don't know if the AC is fixed now or not I can't use my truck it is sitting in their parking lot again. Never been treated so badly in all my experiences with a dealership. They are the worst I have ever been to. 75 years old and no truck yet.
