I've bought houses in less time than it took to get this purchase done. I've never enjoyed the car buying process. This one was worse than most I've had. I found the car I was looking for on a Saturday. purchase done. I've never enjoyed the car buying process. This one was worse than most I've had. I found the car I was looking for on a Saturday. We came to an agreement on price and value of my trade-in. An then I waited. And waited some more. After waiting in the dealer for over 2 hours, I asked for my keys back for the car I was trading in and told them to call me once everything was settled. I scheduled an appointment to come back at 10 AM on Monday. I arrived and I was sat down and asked to wait. After 15 minutes, no one had come to see me. I asked for the manager. He got everything moving. Once in the financing office, I had to sign a bunch of documents for the loan. They repeatedly tried to upsell me with options that would have added $100/month to my loan payment. He'd leave the room and then come back and try a different price, interest rate, etc. I finally asked them to stop trying to upsell me. Just let me buy the car and be on my way. I DID get the car I wanted. Finally. More
