I turned my 2022 Ford Maverick in for a warranty service repair and had to get a rental for an estimated time of a week or more. Since this vehicle is covered under warranty for the bumper to bumper warran repair and had to get a rental for an estimated time of a week or more. Since this vehicle is covered under warranty for the bumper to bumper warranty repair, the vehicle was turned in for service with approx. 13,000 miles on the odometer. I read online warranty information that Ford would cover costs of up to 30 dollars a day for up to 10 days. I was told I need to cover the entire cost of the rental myself? With a vehicle being in service for 7-8 days, the economy rental is going to cost me 300 or more dollars during this period. Honda and Toyota have covered warranty repairs with either "loaner" car fleets or rentals in my past purchases of their products. Why is this not a policy with Ford? The vehicle is overheating and losing coolant and it was not advisable to drive since doing so could result in engine or component damage. Why is it not part of Ford's warranty service to provide rentals or rental assistance? The vehicle is still under manufacturers warranty and it should not matter if I bought the extended warranty. I was asked by the service member assisting me if I had an extended warranty and I told her I did not. Given the vehicle is still under the initial manufacturers warranty, this should not matter if I bought extended coverage? The vehicle is not being covered by an extended warranty, but the 36 month/36,000 mile "bumper to bumper". This is extremely expensive issue to a consumer buying a Ford product, only to have these issues so early in the vehicle's life. I plan to contact the general manager and the regional office tomorrow because this is not a good practice to pass this total cost on to the buyer still under a warranty. More

Now she is dealing with brake issues that the dealership can’t seem to figure out what is wrong. They do not return calls and did not give her a loaner vehicle despite having paid for the expensive maintenance package. My family has purchased all their vehicles from Red McComb Ford for decades. This will be the last purchase my mother makes from them. She is still waiting on a phone call back from the service manager. More
Red Mccombs did not properly log my Bronco order and had me on the line for 6 months (where i kept in regular communication every 2-3 weeks saying it was in process), until just last week when they were rea me on the line for 6 months (where i kept in regular communication every 2-3 weeks saying it was in process), until just last week when they were ready to push my order to a 2023 model(meaning another 4-6 months of waiting) and realizing they lost my wildtrak order. The Sales team contacted me and asked for me to confirm the order, with some slight changes for the new model year, with a completely wrong order (outer banks vs my wildtrak build). No one was able to find my wildtrak order, i was never contacted about what should have been my order in process (since some of the items i had on my build sheet were no longer available, i should have been contacted about that unavailability and any potential changes to my build) which shows that it was never actually being processed. When i shared my frustration, sales management only provided vague "we will see what we can do for you when it comes in." as recompense for a complete waste of 6 months of waiting on a wrong order. Note: The 2023 model wildtrak (with less features than my 2022 build) is 5k more expensive. I have bought a vehicle from Red Mccombs in the past, but their actions with my Bronco order have turned me away from them from this point forward. Unfortunately for them, i was also interested in a new vehicle for my wife, but that is their loss. More
