Make sure you know what you are paying for upfront and where the money is going... So, my wife and I leased a Tahoe from Ray Chevy (Family to Raymond we learned). We had a bad experience with them. We where the money is going... So, my wife and I leased a Tahoe from Ray Chevy (Family to Raymond we learned). We had a bad experience with them. We decided to try Raymond to buy out our lease and purchase the Tahoe. We thought things went well, but we were wrong. During the process, we were told no need to put any money down because we had good credit (mid to upper 700). We met with this guy Chris Weglarz, who presented us with this package that would protect the truck and the frame from rusting and protect the interior from stains. At the time, we thought it was a good decision to go with it. We did not want to add it to our payment, so we decided to pay for it out of our pocket. A few days later, we learned of a less expensive way to get the same protection for the Tahoe and contacted Chris to get a refund. We learned that Chris had used the money we paid for the protection planned as a downpayment on the Tahoe, and they rolled the protection plan into our monthly payment. YES... you read it right. I did mention that we were told we did NOT need a downpayment due to our credit scores. And I did mention that we did pay out of our pocket for this protection plan. This is why I really hate dealing with dealerships. I've bought 6 cars from Carmax, and have NEVER had an issue. I dealt with Raymond and Ray Chevy and both have pulled some xxxxxxxx on me. I guess they feel a black man can't afford to buy a vehicle unless they break a few rules. More
I came out today looking at a base model, and the great team at Raymond Chevrolet put me in a higher model at the same price. Very friendly and bent over backwards for all my high demands. INFORMATIVE, PRODUCTIVE and PAINLESS I walked out of two other dealerships because I felt the salespeople were just there to push any model in order to make a sale. My wife and I were greeted by Dan Lopez. He immediately made us feel comfortable and instantly eliminated most of the anxiety associated with the purchase of a new car. We told him what we were looking for and he pointed us in the right direction. We found the right vehicle. Dan spent quite a bit of time explaining the features of the vehicle in unbelievable detail. He is like a live version of the owners manual. We proceeded to the next step.....PURCHASE NEGOTIATIONS. That process was actually pretty painless. The numbers were where we needed to be so we agreed to purchase the vehicle. While signing the final papers Dan had the vehicle detailed. The vehicle was turned over to my wife and I in sparkling condition. After additional explanation of the vehicles features we drove off. It is important to note that Dan spent more time explaining the features after we closed the deal than prior to the sale. That was rather refreshing and not practiced by too many other sales people in our past experience. In fact, I can't recall any car sales person spending more time after the sale than before. More

He delivered the car to me in Pewaukee WI. A pus for that. This place is a family own company and there something to be said about that, everyone treated me like I was part of family!! with respect, and kindness!! Bait and switch - awful sales tactic to get you in the door. Using the trade estimator on their site, my trade was worth almost $11,000. Once I was ready to buy a vehicle that offer went down to $7,700. I was being shamed after that point on how I wasn't willing to come up to their price. I felt like I was being scolded by a teacher. This was a HORRIBLE experience. After buying multiple vehicles there for my family over ten years, I will not go back. Either stay on the Kia side, or avoid them all together. For what it's worth, I've had a few Kias, and never had issues with them or the Kia sales or service. More
