Everything started out nice and easy but when they didn’t have any trucks that I liked it got a little tough. I was in need of a new truck but ended up buying a Camaro, beautiful car that came with some issu have any trucks that I liked it got a little tough. I was in need of a new truck but ended up buying a Camaro, beautiful car that came with some issues. About 10 minutes after leaving the lot with the car I received a call from the sales manager Robert at the dealership stating, I need to come back right away because I signed paperwork with the incorrect mileage of my trade in and that I owe them $2000 to make up the difference. The side of the story that Robert didn’t say was the fault lands on his sales team for not looking at the mileage of my truck correctly, I had no part in that at all. When I agreed to come back and sign paperwork with the correct mileage on it I was not going to hand him another $2000 because they wanted me to cover 100% of their mistake. After being attacked by Robert on the phone and back at the dealership along with him treating me like a child, I agreed to split the difference at $1000. Now leaving for the second time I head out and about 5 minutes later I realized that the check engine light was on which it was most likely on before I left but I didn’t not check that for obvious reasons. I took a picture of my dash and sent it to the salesman Jack stating “notice the check engine light” and the reply back was “pull it into service tomorrow anytime between 7-2 and they will get started on it” I was kind of expecting an apology of some sort but nothing. If I had time that night I would have returned the car and gotten my truck back but there wasn’t time for that. The next day I went back to the dealership after 2 pm when service was closed so I had more leeway negotiating and told them I would like to return the car and explained to the why. They gave me my truck back, didn’t have me sign any papers which was odd. Then I waited 2 and a half weeks for them to process my refund and finally received it today. If you ask me I would call that stealing because my money is my money not theirs. I’m the end I will not be buying a vehicle from Raymond Chevrolet ever again along with I will tell everyone I know not to buy from them. More
