Went in with the goal of buying a convertible and after looking at every car Skillman had to offer I ended up buying a slightly used 2007 Eclipse Spyder. Austin was wonderful and attentive while spending the better part of New Years day looking for what could have been a needle in a haystack. I entered the dealership with no clear idea of what I wanted or if I was even going to buy anything. Austin went through the inventory on his lot and the other Skillman lots until we narrowed the choices down to a handful of cars. I was not in a financial position to buy any of the cars I had my heart set on as they were either too expensive or too old for me to be approved for financing, Austin then suggested I test drive an Eclipse that had recently been traded in. I had never owned a car that was not built by one of the big 3 and was leery at the thought of buying a Mitsubishi... until I drove this car and fell in love. I easily got financing for this car as the price was well within my range and the car was not considered "old" by the bank. Since I bought the car I have had it serviced at Skillman twice and service was excellent, and while I was waiting Austin saw me and stopped to ask how I was enjoying my car. 6 months, 2 road trips and nearly 10,000 miles later I still love my Eclipse and am so happy Austin had me test drive this car. Should I ever drive the wheels off this car I will be back at Ray Skillman Mitsubishi and looking for Austin to help me pick out my next dream machine. More
Awesome attitude from all the sales staff and the telephone operator. The people seem so geniune and trustworthy. Made the purchase so easy and the right price with great rebates. Have purchased and serviced Vehicles at this location (different owners) for over 20 yrs this being the 6th vehicle purchased there. Service Department is outstanding. I made the mistake of taking the wife with me for oil change and service. She wound up purchasing an Endeavor. Both Austin Burns and Loren Hayden worked well with us as we negotiated for the vehicle. They did not have a vehicle on the lot that was similar to what we/she was looking for so they took us to another location to drive one, this added time to the process and it took a little longer than I anticipated to complete the deal, however the wife is pleased and our/her vehicle will be brought in from Cleavland next week. I hated to see my Montero LTD go but she will be happier driving this one. These guys were good to work with and I feel we were treated fairly. More
Our experience at Ray Skillman Westside Automall was a very nice experience. Nathan Olson was knowledgeable about your product (Hyundai). Everyone that we came in contact was extremely friendly. We had our 2 year old grandaughter and 5 month old puppy with us and everyone that came past us asked if there was anything that they could do for us to make our time there more enjoyable. The only thing that I saw as a negative was the ratings for your people in that a score of 9 or less was considered a failing grade. In all fairness to Nathan Olson we will give him top marks in every category. No one is ever perfect and a grading system should allow a person to know the things to focus on to promote self awareness for improvement. Once again the experience at you dealership was enjoyable and we will reccommend you to our friends and family. More

I had a previous bad experience at another dealership with a salesman who was creepy, so I had a preconceived notion that all car salesmen were the same and would make me uncomfortable. I came to Ray Skillman to purchase a Sportage SX. I was by myself (my husband doesn't like to go to Indy). I can honestly say, I felt very comfortable there andwasn't treated like a "stupid girl". My parents are considering going there to get one as well. My mom feel in love with it and I told her they would treat her right. I never thought I would own a Kia, I'm a Nissan girl through and through...but I'm converted. I have only had the Sportage for 3 days but absolutely love it. I was really impressed with the follow up email the day after I purchased as well. Jeremy took the time to explain every single thing on the Sportage and made sure my phone was working through bluetooth before I left. Way to go Ray Skillman Kia, you've earned my business and references! More
I liked working with Jared and Dave (Sales Mgr.) so much that after leasing a car with them last summer, we bought my wife's new car with them in December. First off we were reluctant to purchase a Hyundai because we were fearful of the Hyundai brand quality. Tony Araujo was so enamormed of the Hyundai brand that we caught his enthusiasm for the Hyundai. Once we were fearful of the Hyundai brand quality. Tony Araujo was so enamormed of the Hyundai brand that we caught his enthusiasm for the Hyundai. Once Tony found out that we really wanted a hybrid car, he encouraged us to wait for the Sonata. Many sales persons would just want a quick sale, and not care about the customer's real desires. Hats off to Tony for his attitude, advice, patience, and willingness to sacrfice an immediate sale to please his customers. During the sales cycle which turned out to be lengthy, Tony kept up updated routinely via e-mail and phone about the status of our new vehicle. Jim Smith got involved toward the end, and was tracking its delivery progress on a regular basis. Tony would tell us we were going to love the car, and that it was worth the wait. He was right on both counts. In addition to Tony and Jim, we have to add that everyone at the dealership was very supportive and extremely friendly. The other sales reps were quick to talk about the car, page Tony if we got there early, etc. The lady who answers the phone always knew where Tony and Jim were, and always got us a live person to address any concerns we had. When Corey the finance person, found out we had been there for some time and that I have diabetes and was getting pretty hungry, he gave me a power bar from his desk drawer. The whole environment at this dealership is one of trust, caring, and teamwork. It was a true pleasure working with everyone there. I have to admit that my husband and I are cranky old senior citizens. We tend to be perfectionists, and can be quite demanding. We were treated like royalty, made to feel like we were the most important customer they had, and when we left the dealership we left feeling very good about the entire experience.
