I initially visited the location in the fall of 2011 to test drive a few cars that I was interested in purchasing. While ultimately I did not proceed with anything more than a few test drives, I returned test drive a few cars that I was interested in purchasing. During my February visit I wanted to test drive a Mazda 3 and had the opportunity to meet Barry Morris. Barry was great to work with and after driving the the Mazda, we discussed what I had driven the previous fall and I decided to drive the Kia Optima again. Barry was more than willing to talk with me about both the Mazda and Kia vehicles and was extremely knowledgeable about both. He was definitely interested in hearing what I liked about both and kind enough to discuss the features of each as they related to what I was looking for in a vehicle. At no point throughout our conversation did I feel pressured to make a decision because ultimately he wanted to make sure I would be happy with my decision and thoroughly enjoy the car I wanted. I ultimately decided that I preferred the Optima over the Mazda 3 and although the exact color of the model I was interested in was not on the lot, Barry worked with the staff to determine there was one in inventory at another location. At that point, Barry began working with me on the price. The price was reasonable and I had the opportunity to work with Dave Gambrall through the financing process and it was a pleasure as well. As you may have gathered, I left Ray Skillman that afternoon with the car I wanted, at a reasonable price and with some amazing customer service throughout the entire process. I would definitely recommend visiting Ray Skillman West Auto Mall if you're looking for a friendly environment to review several vehicles and meet staff people that genuinely care about making your experience an enjoyable one that provides you with the vehicle you want. This dealership has very effective advertisements that draws you in. Once I got there it was a very friendly environment from all people on duty. Really enjoyed working with everyone at the dealership. Jared was personable and attentive to our "wish list". We were assisted by Avery at the Indy Auto Show. Impressed enough to drive 25 miles to your dealership for an appointment. I am very displeased, we were told that the van we bought was being discounted however after review of the paper work that "discount" amounted to $26.00 below the window sticker price, also we feel really sc was being discounted however after review of the paper work that "discount" amounted to $26.00 below the window sticker price, also we feel really screwed on our trade-in received $1500 below the book value and since dealers bury this information in the pages of paperwork it takes time to review and figure out what we truly paid. If I was to do business with Ray Skillman again it will be on my terms, I will make the offer as a take-in or leave-it More
