My wife & I had been researching pre-owned cars for 3-4 months before we began searching in the area near Ray Skillman Auto Mall. Upon arriving at Ray Skillman Hyundai, Zach greeted us with a very friendly/conservative disposition. His approach was without the "standard" sales lingo and aggressiveness. He was very genuine. We provided our desires for a pre-owned car, and he immediately provided options that were within our preferences/years/price ranges/and options. Our decision was easy given the maturity of our salesperson. Zach was very direct in his conversation AND his listening skills. I made 2 things clear to him. I did not want to engage in a ping-pong game of negotiation, and we had to leave by a set time. I provided Zach what price range I would accept and he expedited the options available. We honored our agreement, and made the purchase and Zach had us on the road in our car within 1 hour. He answered all questions fully and made sure that we were aware of long term outcomes of our purchase. We will certainly be using Zach & Ray Skillman in the future. In an industry wrought with a difficult reputation of pushy sales staff, Ray Skillman is blessed to have this young man on staff. Great job Zach! More

The response from the time I phoned, to my actual on site visit was exceptional. I was treated with the utmost respect! All of the attention and the effort that was put into finding a vehicle that met my needs both financially as well as just an all around good fit, was amazing. I went to Ray Skillman West Auto to buy my very first car. I was greeted immediately by Zach with such hospitality. After I've completed my applications Zach and I had searched for a car. Throughout our search he has been knowledgeable about the cars that I was interested in. I've talked with him about my budget and had set up a plan to find something a more affordable car for me and Zach has been professional about it. After a long wait, I've finally found my car. I had a really good financing plan. Even though I had waited for hours , Ray Skillman has made it worthwhile for me and everything went great and I was satisfied! Good and professional. The customer testimonials, that I saw on the videos, were right and I couldn't agree more. Ray Skillman has definitely served its purpose...Good service! He also explained the vehicles options effectively and quickly which allowed me to make a efficient and wise choice of new vehicle. In addition to the staffs quality the vehicle was provided in tip top shape, with a full tank of gas and I feel the price I paid was better than I had hoped to achieve. I would definitely visit the dealer again for future car purchases and intend to use their service team as well. More
Overall we had an excellent experience. We ended up in a 2013 Hyundai for the monthly payment we originally were willing to pay for a used vehicle! The only issue is that we really wanted to see more used vehicles (your commercials talk about how many you have) yet we were only shown 2 or 3 by Nate. However, we got into a newer car for a better payment so it was not really an issue. My husband hates car sales men however, theese guys were not overly pushy & we felt like they were very honest withus. Troy is an asset to your management team. We will be back! More
I just purchased my 6th vehicle from Ray Skillman. All the sales personnel were very friendly, helpful, and very respectful. I had a fantastic experience with gentlemen who really acted like they wanted to help me get a newer vehicle. I actually was overwhelmed with the kindness and patience that was shown to me. I left feeling that I had just purchased a quality vehicle at a fair no nonsense price and for once didn't feel I had ended up on the short end of the stick. I can't really thank Wild Bill for all his enthusiasm for the car buying experience, and Terry in finance was amazing and skilled in closing our deal with calm, pleasant expertise. Everyone in the showroom spoke to us and always asked if we needed anything. I have never been treated so kindly in a dealership before by everyone in the room. Keith Wood also helped us in our process, and I can't thank everyone enough. I wish I knew all the names and faces to thank, but I will tell all my friends and family what a great experience I had so they can head this way and receive the same. More
Glenn was a very nice, no pressure salesman who exceeded my expectations! He was extremely friendly and helpful. He made a special envelope with the information I would need for insurance and called me the my expectations! He was extremely friendly and helpful. He made a special envelope with the information I would need for insurance and called me the Monday after I had purchased my car to remind me to print my temporary tags, since the license branch had been closed Saturday evening when I had done business with him. He even programmed my Bluetooth! Dave made sure we got the best interest rate we could and gave us a deal on the insurance plan! These guys are awesome and have made this experience very enjoyable! I don't like to spend a lot of money and I really feel like I got a great deal and would do business with these guys again!!! My experience was so great that I plan to bring my car there for future service needs even though it is a drive from where I live! More
All these men halped me as best as they could and gave me what I needed. The patience and commitment they have towards their potential customers is overwhelming. Which after looking back at other dealers, they stand and wait for your lead not even trying to help. This was my first time in dealing with an actual "dealership" that it made it worth the drive and the time invested. I will return and send over business! More
From the Auto Mall; this is the 9th or 10th car that we have either purchased/leased or referred buyers to. Their stack 'em deep; sell 'em cheap adds may be quirky; but what these people know how to make have either purchased/leased or referred buyers to. Their stack 'em deep; sell 'em cheap adds may be quirky; but what these people know how to make a potential client feel welcome and wanted, not just on the initial inquiry, but return calls and the length they will go to get your car. We recently purchased a Sonata. They did not have what we were looking for on the lot; so they hit the books and searched for one; went to two auctions and got our car. Today; I just picked up my daughters new car. Same scenario as the last; having to find her car located in Schaumburg IL.; and driving it back to Indianapolis. We all know you will never get the price you want; but the extras that the Skillman people extend; to at least my family is the way everyone should be treated. The follow up calls; service reminders; knowing who we are when we bring our car in; asking how our spouse is etc etc.. This goes from the salesman; sales manager; finance manager and service people. I have told them on numerous occassions that when the time comes around to purchase another car; they will be the dealership of choice. More
