No knockout punches In my 54 years of buying cars, it seems like somewhere along the car buying experience you get a punch to the gut during the transaction. I can honest In my 54 years of buying cars, it seems like somewhere along the car buying experience you get a punch to the gut during the transaction. I can honestly say from the moment we walked in the door until we left following the final paperwork and financing, nothing was ever presented that was a surprise or a deal stopper. My first expereince with the dealership was a call to the dealership sales dept and I spoke directly to the manager, Casey. I had a great feeling about him and proceeded to the dealership even though I had closer Kia dealerships to me. Besides the salesmen opening the door for us when we arrived, Casey immedicately placed me in the capable hands of one of his saleasman, Cyrus, who was a true gentleman selling autos. The used car manager, Marcus, provided humor and fun to the transaction and Dave completed the deal in a very positive manner in the finacne area. Overall, my wife and I were please from soup to nuts and would highly recommend the buying experiance at this dealership. I'm a local Busienss Executive who appreciates good customer service and values a great customer expericence and knows how hard it is to get everyone on a team to row in the same direction. Best Car Buying Experience, Miracles Do Happen The professionalism, excellent customer service, patience, understanding and kindness I received at the Kia Dealership can be summed up into 5 words.. The professionalism, excellent customer service, patience, understanding and kindness I received at the Kia Dealership can be summed up into 5 words....Kelsey, Will, Brian, Chad and Nate. Kelsey and I first made contact online. She helped me get the process started and set up the appointment for a test drive. When my son and I got out of the car, Will came up to us, introduced himself and asked what I was interested in and how could he help. He answered all my questions regarding the different options available and which ones were important to me and which ones I could live without. He suggested I test drive both styles of Forte Koups so I would know the differences between them. While test driving, Will was courteous and very easy to talk to. He was patient with me especially when I was told I might have to go with a Sedan instead of a Koup. At that point I was ready to leave and come back at a later date to try again. Instead of letting me walk out the door, he asked me to wait a few minutes, that he needed to check on something. While waiting, my son and I were chatting with one of the other salesmen. He saw my frustration and shared his personal experience with financing issues and how he believed getting an approval was a blessing; to grab it and make the most of the opportunity. Very wise advice. Thank you Nate for sharing your experience with me. During my wait Will, Brian and Chad were diligently working on getting my financing changed from the Sedan to the Koup. After about an hour Will came out with the news that I had gotten my blessing. Thank you Brian for making the impossible possible!!! Thank you for caring enough to fight for my blessing, for believing in me. Thank you Will and Chad!! My intention for visiting the dealership was to test drive a Forte and to check on financing. I had not planned on going there, being approved and to leave driving a Forte Koup off of the showroom floor. Ray Skillman Kia employees are first class all the way; from hello in the parking lot to helping you get to know your new car. The one thing that stands out in my mind is that every person working Saturday was smiling. That is huge in today's workplace. I will never purchase a car from any other dealer. More
Ray Skillman is a RIP OFF!!! I came to Ray Skillman Hyundai on Pike Plaza Road looking for a 2015 Hyundai Genesis. I was looking to trade in my 2014 Chevy Impala that I own out ri I came to Ray Skillman Hyundai on Pike Plaza Road looking for a 2015 Hyundai Genesis. I was looking to trade in my 2014 Chevy Impala that I own out right. I was looking to get out of my 2014 Impala due to all of the recalls that General Motors has issued. My particular vehicle has not been included in any of these recalls as of yet. When I sat down with my sales rep I told him what I was expecting out of my Impala, remember that it is a 2014 and I own nothing on it. After half an hour the appraiser or sales manager came over and set the most is that they could give me was $19,000. I told him this was unacceptable and the lowest that I would accept wad $24,000 seeing I just paid $29,000 for it less than 6 months ago he told me the reason they were only giving me $19,000 is because their other store had just took in three of the Impalas and they couldn't use anymore. I turned around and started the walk for the door. The gentleman who I was speaking with begged and pleaded with me not to leave that $19,000 was the best that I was going to get. I corrected him and said that is not true because I was already offered fairly close to what I was looking for. He then told me if that's what you want to get then I suggest you go there. I would go there then. I turned around and walked out the door. Do not do business with Ray Skillman. They are a freaking rip off and will low ball you in giving you what you want or deserve for any used car you may trade in. More
Ray Skillman (KIA) Dealership Is The Best! I have purchased a 2013 Kia Sorento SX, 2014 Kia Sorento SXL and leased a 2015 Kia Sorento EX in the past year and a half. Traded the 2013 Sorento fo I have purchased a 2013 Kia Sorento SX, 2014 Kia Sorento SXL and leased a 2015 Kia Sorento EX in the past year and a half. Traded the 2013 Sorento for a 2014 Sorento and the experience for trading was two thumbs up. There was no games, just great trading. Two months later I went back and leased a 2015 Sorento as well. I really enjoy driving both vehicles and fun to drive. I have returned to the dealership for oil changes and tire rotations. The "SALES DEPARTMENT" will go above any others to ensure your visit or buying experience is the BEST. The "SERVICE DEPARTMENT" is above and beyond any dealership I have ever done business with. The service department makes you feel welcome and part of the Ray Skillman family. I drive 5,000 miles per month so I visit them monthly and enjoy every minute I am there. What a great experience at Ray Skillman Mitsubishi West I was very apprehensive to visit the dealership's service department as in the past, I have never had a real good experience at any dealer's service d I was very apprehensive to visit the dealership's service department as in the past, I have never had a real good experience at any dealer's service department. Much to my surprise, first I was greeted by Justin. He took my information in a timely fashion and told me to make myself comfortable. I told him that my wife had a doctor appointment at a nearby office and he said not to worry. A little bit later, a young lady stopped into the lounge to give us an update on our vehicle. Justin came to see how we were doing and then he said that he would drive us to the doctor since the vehicle wasn't finished. He took us and came back when the appointment was over. I think this was great that he would take the time to do this for us. At the end of the day, Justin and the young lady service writer were terrific. They kept us updated on the progress of our vehicle and went above and beyond by helping us make our appointment. Great job and I will return to Ray Skillman Mitsubishi West. I think that must have been Robin. More

The quote was straight forward, no gimmicks.The price offered was great. Yanni and Shalena Hunter were terrific. Shalena needs an award for customer service -very speedy at responding to my questions and very friendly. When I showed up to purchase the car the next day, the car was ready. Nick Exline had our paperwork going. Price was exactly as quoted. No pressure to purchase options. .Nick even helped connect our phone to the car's Bluetooth system. Final paperwork went smoothly. I was contacted by Brittany about a month ago through the marketing department. I had already been working with another dealer on a car. It was a terrible experience and throughout the whole time Brittany and Stephanie Duty South Side Ray SKillman communicated and helped me . Keep in mind I wasn't buying from them. My situation with income and credit was very unique and difficult. I had enough with the other dealer and immediately called these ladies and was referred to Ray SKillman West Side because it was closer to me. I was helped by Ron Sedam and Anthony Bell. I was treated with total respect and kindness! I told Anthony what I wanted which wasn't easy to get especially in my situation. I am a picky buyer but also had an almost impossible deal to close. Ron & Anthony worked diligently together, crunched numbers, and even eased my pain with a less of a down payment. I am proud to say, I left yesterday with a Beautiful Pearl White Mazda Tribute SUV!
