We This is our first time owning a Hyundai. The Staff couldn't have been more helpful, informative, nice & professional. Darla & Kat are Awesome! We had been to another Hyundai dealership and your dealership, by Far, out-performed them in less than a 12 hour period. (we had been dealing with the other folks for 2 weeks and got nowhere!) We LOVE our new Palisade!! Thanks again for making it so easy to buy our first Hyundai. More

When I arrived at the tent sale, Johnny helped me get into the first car I wanted. I scored an2015 with only 6015 miles, that’s right just over 6000 miles!! It’s like brand new!! My boyfriend was with me and he loved the looks of a 4Runner at the tent sale and we went back the next morning and traded his Dodge 2500 Cummins in for a 4Runner! Shout out to Mike Hendricks for all your help and entertaining us during the waiting process! We will be back in a few years when we’re ready to upgrade! More

I contacted the dealer and spoke with Johnny Stewart on the phone, negotiating a price, as I was to travel 340 miles to see this car. He agreed to hold the car for me, and I came all the way from Detroit, MI, to test the car and fell in love with it. The car could not have been in better condition, and everyone of the employees was extremely helpful, courteous and friendly. It made the long drive well worth it, especially when I got to drive my new Mustang convertible all the way home! More

Horrible Experience We went in to test drive a Hyundai Kona because they were offering the 0% APR deal. They also, were offering a $50 gift card to test drive. The salesp We went in to test drive a Hyundai Kona because they were offering the 0% APR deal. They also, were offering a $50 gift card to test drive. The salesperson they set us up with was from their neighboring Ford dealership. He literally knew nothing about Hyundais and couldn't answer a single one of my questions. I'm talking simple questions like is the Kona or the Tucson more expensive. We thought the Kona was too small so we test drove the Tucson as well. After that I realized that we had been there longer than we thought and we had to be somewhere at 8;00 before they closed. It was around 7;40 at this point so we told them we would think about what we wanted to do and get back with them. We asked them to provide us with the gift card for the test drive. The salesman took my phone with the code on it and said he would get it for us. For some reason they could not produce the gift card quick enough (they never said why) and I told them we would just have to leave without and get it at a later time. They said that would be fine. They kept us long enough mind you that we had to call the place they were going and tell them we were running a couple minutes late which thankfully they were gracious enough to allow us to come in even though they were closed. Now as soon as we registered for the test drive their internet marketing lady Ashley had been texting my wife continuously about setting up an appointment for us to come in. My wife had been texting her back and they knew we were coming in that night but yet could only provide us with a salesman from their Ford dealership. We text her after we left the dealership letting her know that we had come in but that we did not get the gift card was she able to email that to us. She was not quite as responsive as before. Imagine that. We actually ended up buying a Rav4 from Butler Toyota the next day which I would HIGHLY recommend them by the way. So not getting any response through text I called them a couple of days later. I told the guy on the phone what happened and that we had purchased a Toyota instead. He jokingly (I think) gave me a hard time about buying the Toyota. But then he said why don't you just admit it you only came here for the $50 gift card. Which was extremely rude in my opinion but also completely untrue. I was so angry at that guy I decided right then I was going to get that gift card no matter what just to spite him. They told me to email the code to them again and they would get it figured out. After four days of getting nowhere with them through email I decided to just call Hyundai directly. They solved the issue right then and there and got me an e-gift card and told me they would document my complaint. So Hyundai was nice to deal with but this dealership sucks. They are obviously only concerned with making the quick sale and getting your money. If you want a nice experience, go to Butler Toyota. They've been around since 1966 and have sales people that have been there for over 30 years. It's a night and day different experience. But whatever you do, definitely don't come to Ray Skillman Hyundai and get treated like crap like I did. The young guy that was our salesman was nice by the way. It's not his fault that they had him helping people at the Hyundai dealership when he only knew Ford. But it doesn't surprise me because clearly the management here sucks. More
Buy Here Pay Here is great Service center is terrible Bought a Rav4 in Feb from Jim Everett had a great experience with Jim and the staff at buy here pay here did everything they could to get us in a vehi Bought a Rav4 in Feb from Jim Everett had a great experience with Jim and the staff at buy here pay here did everything they could to get us in a vehicle we could afford. 3 weeks later we started having problems with the heater box as the a.c. knob was getting stuck took it in to service it was there for almost 3 weeks apparently the wrong part she if they had to reorder the new part and a couple other things happen while all this was going on Jim made sure we had a loner so that was okay Jim was extremely nice and apologetic that this it happened well we pick up there Rav4 and a week later the same issue happens again the knob is froze and won't turn. Contacted Jim again and he got us in another loaner while the service center worked on it yet again. Came and picked it back up the next day I noticed the light on the knob wasn't lighting up for whatever reason they didn't make sure the light was working well I overlooked that because it had already been in the shop twice about a week goes by and the same thing the knob freezes up will not turn in this time the entire knob falls in the dash so yet another 35 mile trip to bring our Rav4 back into the shop for the same issue!!! If it wasn't for Jim Everett doing everything he could for us to make it right I wiould tell them to keep the car. The service shop needs to be looked into. Will update one I get my car back as its still in the shop.... More
