I went to the dealership to look for a F150. Jayson had called me and worked directly with me. I want to get one thing straight, first Jayson was Awesome. I would buy a car from Jayson, and I just wouldn't buy it from RaySkillman. The General Manager Dave Everett was very rude to me when I found problems with the truck. He told me that I bought the truck as is when I purchased it Ford certified. Jayson was the only person at the dealership that was friendly and helpful. He has done everything in his power to ensure that I was happy with what I was getting. To this date the sale is not finalized and they have sold my trade in already. When I go to purchase another car it will never be from a Rayskillman lot due to this experience. More
I came in to buy a car, Wayne didn't want to give me prices until my husband was there. I was given a price, I came back to get it only to have Wayne up the price. Then I was given a price on the phone prices until my husband was there. I was given a price, I came back to get it only to have Wayne up the price. Then I was given a price on the phone by Wayne when he called me, I have a text message by Quincy per Wayne the price is 15000 minimum. Came in to buy at 15000 only to have Wayne raise the price OVER the selling price, then he came down a little less than 1000 but still 3000 over what I have a text showing the price. Needless to say, I walked out for the 3rd time without the car. I was humiliated, felt down graded as a women, was totally lied to with proof still on my phone. I can give detailed info on exactly how this went down & can show you proof on my phone that this is true. More
We Came in to buy new Hybrid, they low balled our trades for starters, We are personal friends of Ray Skillman personally, We even go to same church! When we worked on the final numbers, we told him the final pay off amount including the 10 day grace period, On the final documents when we was gonna sign for the loan. The pay off amounts was not as they was told. they raised pay off amount to almost 5 grand higher then really was. 2nd. We was told we would have the car at DEALER INVOICE, That was a LIE! they added few thousand to that amount on that too. When we we asked TRACE the finance guy, seem liked he wanted to not explain it fully. We have bought many cars from Ray Skillman dealerships in past. We walked out of the Fiance office because of the stuff they tried to pull. WE took our business to Bill Estes Ford in brownsburg , Totally great experience, everyone we meet, our salesman Bob Bittner was totally great!!! Highly recommend Bill Estes Ford for being honest from very start. We got honest answers! not lies!!! DO NOT BUY FROM RAY SKILLMAN UNLESS YOU WANT SCREWED OUT ON YOUR MONEY! More

Let me start off by clarifiying that I only rated a 4/5 star experience simply because we did not make a purchase nor have any service completed. However, from my intial contact with the bubbly Emily star experience simply because we did not make a purchase nor have any service completed. However, from my intial contact with the bubbly Emily Stone, one of the Internet Marketers, inquiring about the particular vehicle we found through Cars.com and subsequently test drove, to meeting James Kramer (call him Cosmo, it'll be the first time he's heard that one), one of the many cordial and knowledgeable Sales and Leasing Consultants (also, ask to see his photo albums from his earlier big hair/heavy metal days), and lastly meeting the dapper and amiable Brandon Hockett, Import Manager, our experience was nothing less than superb. One could argue the favorable treatment was a typical car salesman/showroom production, however I would argue the mantra here at Ray Skillman Ford & Southside Hyundai is "Treat the customer how you would like to be treated" or "Put the customer first, and the rest will follow", especially when I was honest that we were essentially there to test drive one particular vehicle to get an idea of how it would suit our family and budget, but not to actually buy. We were greeted promptly, the facilities are top-knotch, clean, well-lit, and cleanly arranged. I'm willing to bet the majority of the staff is just as knowledgeable and cordial as Mr. Kramer was, especially considering this is part of the Ray Skillman family (a well-established family in the Greenwood/Indy metro area) and one of the largest successfull dealers of ROUSH/performance Mustangs in the country. Again, we were honest about being there for a test drive/researching a specific vehicle for our family situation (James even helped us put our oversized car seat in the G37 sedan we test drove!), and never felt obligated to buy, but were given the opportunity to make an offer and the staff seemed very flexilbe about working it into our budget. In the end, I hope when budget allows, our future vehicle will be at this dealership so I can work with them on making a purchase. Do yourself a favor and head over, meet the staff, and maybe even find that perfect vehicle! Bryan Shotts More

Overcharging and getting every single red cent the poor girl has to get a car that she could have gotten anywhere. I have bought many cars from this dealership and this will be the last one from any SKILLMAN dealership!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! our whole family has been loyal to Skillman but they just took our faith in them completely away!
