Ray Skillman Southside Hyundai not only provided the best deal (by far), but they provided the best service out of the places I visited. I say this because from the moment I called, they quoted me an exceptional rate for my new 2017 Hyundai Elantra (competitively better than any other dealership), and this quote stayed consistent throughout the entire process (call, test drive/consideration, signing). Each person I talked to was very friendly and always made sure I was accommodated. Additionally, I learned that Ray Skillman actively supports and donates to their immediate community which for me is a nice plus. There were no surprises, and the staff never tried to rush me into making a decision which is very important to me because signing a lease is a 3+ year commitment. When I finally decided to make a deal, they told me everything up front as to what I was getting so that once again there were no surprises (in terms of color, features, etc.). Lastly, when dealing with their finance guy, I was new and fully expected to get hounded with questions about junk I didn't need. To my surprise, he asked me if I wanted an extended insurance plan, I said no, and that was it. No pressure, no stuff I didn't need, no hassle. I thoroughly read my contract, signed my papers and I was able to drive the car off the lot the same day. I would definitely recommend this dealership to a friend and while I still advise new buyers to call other dealerships for comparison (part of the process), I highly recommend giving Ray Skillman Southside Ford/Hyundai a call first.
