Originally I planned to stop by the dealership to check out the Ford Focus and Fusion. I knew I wanted to purchase a new car but didn't think I would be doing it the first day of my shopping. I met Linds out the Ford Focus and Fusion. I knew I wanted to purchase a new car but didn't think I would be doing it the first day of my shopping. I met Lindsey and she asked all the right questions. She showed me the 2012 Focus and I realized it was a bit smaller than I wanted so we moved on to the Fusion. She was very patient with me as I looked over the options. After taking a test drive, I knew the Fusion was the car I wanted to purchase. Lindsey was very knowledgeable and could answer all my questions. After getting a fair value on my eleven year old car,I made the decision to go ahead with the purchase. Gary was also very knowledgeable and helpful in the finance department. After all the financing was done, Lindsey again provided me with more information about my new car. I will recommend Ray Skillman Ford to my friends and will suggest they look up Lindsey when they visit. More
My wife's 2008 Elantra had been totaled when someone ran a red light, so we had to have something for her commute to work. We were unsure of what we wanted to replace it with, so we went to the Place we had bought the 08 Elantra, and my new 2010 F-150, Ray Skillman Performance Ford and Southside Hyundai. There we met salesman Brian Cecil we started with the base model 2011 Escape, then the XLT, then he showed us the 2011 Focus, 2011 Elantra,2011 Tucson and the 2011 Mustang, after all of that we decided to go with what we knew, the 2011 Elantra. Due to the high gas prices, and the awesomeness of the 2011 Hyundai's it was going to be 7-10 days before we could get one. (we could not wait that long)so we left and went to another dealer (Big mistake) after I couldn't get anyone to wait on me, I wandered into the used car lot, and was met immediately with an under-anxious gentleman who evidently was not allowed to sell the NEW CARS. so I left in huff with an unhappy wife. On the drive home I was told by an unhappy wife we were going back to Ray Skillman, so we did, I asked for Brian Cecil upon arrival, and before he could get out to us, 3 other salesmen had asked us if we needed help,(They were all allowed to sell the NEW CARS). I will end this long drawn out story with, my wife drove home her new 2011 Ford Escape Limited, I left with a happy wife. It was a long Saturday, but only because I chose to leave Ray Skillman Ford, and go look somewhere else, and waste 4 hrs. of my day. More
We searched on the web for the vehicle we wanted and found the perfect fit at Ray Skillman. Imagine our surprise when we found out that our salesman, Josh Phillips, was the son of another one of Ray Sk found the perfect fit at Ray Skillman. Imagine our surprise when we found out that our salesman, Josh Phillips, was the son of another one of Ray Skillman's employees, John Phillips. It was a surprise because over the years we have purchased many vehicles dealing with John. But not only have we bought vehicles from John, but my father bought many vehicles from John's dad. Three generations of the Phillips family involved in this business and we were lucky enough to find one of them at Ray Skillman. We were very impressed by the facilities, the friendliness of the employees and most of all-our experience in purchasing a vehicle! We had just located the vehicle the previous day, happened to contact Josh at the dealership and the next evening we drove out in a brand new Ford Ranger. We were very pleased with the deal we agreed upon. They were generous on the value of our trade-in and worked to give us an excellent deal on our purchase. From the beginning when we were greeted by Josh all the way to the end when we met Bill Baumgardner in finance, we were impressed with our experience with everyone. When we came in, we already had our own financing but Bill made a few inquiries and managed to get us a better interest rate. We will definitely do future business with Ray Skillman's dealerships. From beginning to end, it was quite apparent that the Skillmans have great facilities, great employees, and last but not least, great deals on their vehicles. Thanks to everyone for their hard work! I should have bought a new vehicle from this dealership years ago. The amount of care and customer service I received from Randy and Brian were phenomenal. I have purchased used and new Nissans from Hubler years ago. The amount of care and customer service I received from Randy and Brian were phenomenal. I have purchased used and new Nissans from Hubler Nissan in the past, and I was rushed into my purchase of the new vehicle, and I wasn't told that the clutch needed replaced immediately when I bought the 350Z. At Hubler, we didn't even go over something as simple as the car books. I will never go back to Hubler for anymore car purchases. Ray Skillman Ford is simply amazing and they answered every question I had, along with letting me know about features and alike that I couldn't think of that I didn't have to ask about initially. Most importantly, I never felt rushed and the staff were very knowledgeable. Will continue business with Ray Skillman dealerships for a very long time. More

On Jun 9th 2010 I had a 100,000 mile service done at Ray Skillman Ford in Greenwood Indiana this was $966.00. 2 weeks later I had issues with the truck misfiring and not going over 60mph. I returned it and three coil packs were replaced for $496.18. About 2 weeks later the engine started losing power again so I returned it and I was told it was a faulty spark plug. This was repaired at no charge. 15 October 2010 it began doing the same thing. I was in Cleveland Ohio and had to drive back to Cloumbus Ohio doing 45-55mph. I took the vehicle to Germain Ford of Columbus. A few hours later they told me I had a broken valve spring and that it was damaging my coil packs. They also told me it should have been diagnosed from the start and repaired. I spent alot of money on substandard repairs and I felt I was owed some type of partial refund. The Ford Company in Columbus stated that as well. I am a US Soldier and rarely complain but the whole process was frustrating. Contacted the head of Ford and they said dealerships are privately owned so contact them. I did that and they said "oh ok we will check into it" and of course you know they never called back. The worse Fu@@king dealership I ever dealt with. Would not own up to their neglect and mistakes and a Soldier payed the price! More

I took my car in for shifting trouble. They said it was the clutch disc which is a "wear" part. Fine, I had to pay for the repair. When I picked it up it was still having the same problem and I couldn't the clutch disc which is a "wear" part. Fine, I had to pay for the repair. When I picked it up it was still having the same problem and I couldn't even drive it away. I feel they forced to "wear" repair on me without checking for the real problem. The car only has 30,000 miles on it. The clutch disc shouldn't have been that badly worn with such low mileage. More
